Awww, Paula. I'm not a huge help, since my kids are younger. That said, Neil is on Strattera for the ADD and his increased dose of Risperdal is working on the sleep and OCD issues. The increase in the meds has given me a new kid.
Perhaps talking to his doctor about *your* concerns might help out. If you do this without Chris present, maybe doctor may nudge him to find out how he feels and get a little more insight.

my heart goes out to you! I can actually feel Chris' frustration fairly well I think. Is there a way someone *else* can try to convince him that vocational school isn't for dummies? I know many who did it who just wanted something different... wanted an edge in life after HS. Most were fairly smart, and actually they wouldn't take the dummies
But if a peer or someone like that could tell him, it might make a bigger impact.
College was an awakening for him.

Good think I didn't sign him up, he would be even harder for someone to shop for

Hi Patti.
