Could y'all send some PD my SIL's way? She was admitted to the hospital for observation. Her BP has been very high when she is standing and her blood work came back "off." She is waiting for the results of new blood work and a urine test. This is the SIL that is prego and had negative bloodwork before. :( The baby is fine, though, which is good. They just need to figure out why her bloodwork is off and why her BP keeps going up.

Well, its been snowing here for the last few hours. Guess the storm is finding us now. The boys might have hope for a snow day tomorrow. :teeth:

Hi Caroline! Good to see you! :wave2:

Welcome back, Kimmar. We want pics and details. :bounce:

Paula, congrats to your DD! :cheer2:

Beth, so sorry to hear about your son's truck. :(

Hi everyone!
Glad the MIAs are checking in! Great to "see" you! Miss ya all!

Snowing lots here most of the afternoon. I got to lunch then drove back in a storm. Cars off the road and all. Blech.

My baby is no longer a teen! Today Rod is moving into the next decade! I can't believe it is that long ago. Sigh

Karen, hope you day went well. Glad you got yourself set up right away. Smart thing.

JRKaren, glad you made it to DC ok.

Beth, thanks for letting us know. Sorry about your DS and his not so good experience. Hope it all works out for him. That just stinks.

Sorry, can't stay right now...must continue on.
Everyone, I've read, just run out of time to reply. lymi

Agree to be a cabana boy and they think they own you body and soul ;)

You're just lucky I'm from Alabama and not literate or you'd be sorry when I wrote a book about all this ;)

Lily, you look far too young to be the mother of a post-teen, but Happy Birthday Rod!

Ooops, how I did I miss something my illiterate cabana boy didn't ;)

Happy Birthday Rod!!!!!!!

Hey all,

Just got home from work and an outing to the uniform shop again. Needed to get a stethiscope and a lab coat.

My first day was GREAT! I really think Im going to like it there. They threw a lot at me the first day but I can handle it. It is much different and much more simple than my other job was. Less stress, no work to pile up, no posting of medicare checks. I even got to do some back office work today because that girl left the office sick. I even got to check out the doctors lunchroom. I have been at that same building for 18 years and have never been in there LOL. My coworkers are great and the bosses wife was really nice and really helpful to me today. I really think this was a good move for me.

Yikes I just noticed the time. I have to get to the viewing and services for my late boss. I will checkin and ketchup when I get back. Me and my strawberry margarita LOL.

HUGS TO ALL!!! :grouphug:

no time to ketchup. so just bumpiing!!

Relaxed a lot tonight and that seems to really have helped me feel better.

Wow, I am not done with the exchange. I am going to hopefully finish up this weekend. I have a lot to send out this weekend too... need to make a copy of a CD first.

Nancy, sorry about the Pub... I do hope you find osmething good soon. And I have to say I love Lily!!!

Glad work went well!

Hi Tara!

Off to bed!

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Rod everyone. I think he is liking this number but will like next year better.

Sherry, hope all is well with your SIL.

So tired of snow. DS#1 worked on snow stuff at work today, came home shoveled, snow blowed, then went off to work to do more as they called him back to help. We have lots of snow and it will make great snowman. Who wants to come out and play?
:earboy2:

Happy Birthday Rod!!!

I didnt cook tonight either, had a PTA meeting (im starting to think that means Pain in The A--). Once lady on the board finally showed up to a meeting without having even been around the past few months and helping with NOTHING. To say I wanted to choke her would be putting it mildly.
So Popeye's for dinner it was.
As for my exchange I did buy 1 item over the weekend and hopefully getting the rest of my stuff this week.

Evening, all! I'm back from the World. Tired, still hivey, but happy. It was a fun time, although my leg is complaining at me right now about all that walking (I'm telling it to shut up!)

Okay, I'll do lots and lots of ketchup here:

Pam said:
Suzanne - hives?? :guilty: Poor dear - I am sitting here scratching now in sympathy. Benadryl works great for DS when he gets those. Did you try Calamine lotion?

 Pam, I wish I could use that stuff. I'm allergic-have a nice scar on my wrist to show for it-then when I was getting allergy testing as an adult, the doc tells me that I'm allergic to it because it contains iodine!

:duck: Elaine, you will laugh. Ed's seen your siggie picture and asked "what is that?" I was able to show him the location yesterday!

:sunny: Lily, sorry you didn't get your time to shop, but wow! Ted did 4 miles! Just think, Ted's getting all the kinks of the Ipod worked out so that you'll breeze through this when you get one!

Amanda, hope the week is going quick for you!

Everyone complaining about the white stuff, keep it up in the NY metro area. Having fun with SIL here, so if her flight gets cancelled, we won't be upset!

Deena, I hope Evan's b'day was fun!

Liz, I apologize-never got to the chocolate cake, but I did get some tiramisu at Crystal Palace-that good enough? We always did the auto show in DC, and we're out of whack here and think we missed it!

Tara, if you don't subscribe, go to www.mousesavers.com and get the newsletter. She'll fill you in on those wonderful codes to save money! Thanks to her, I got the Fl Res rates before I got the email from Disney!

Alan, good working dog like Winston has never had any of those goodies in those places, has he?

Tina, How exciting to get to see filming!

Sherry, get the beetle-you won't regret it. Oh wait a minute, you've got four boys...Nevermind! Not unless you only take two kids with you! Mine has had six people in it, but only from Epcot to Downtown Disney.

Bethie, I'm having a hard time not coming up to DC for those Mickeys. Airfare isn't cooperating, though. Last year, I flew down here three times for less than 130r/t. Now I can't find anything under 200!

Hi Bella! How are you? How's school?

Paula, your daughter will love SUNY Albany. I have several good friends who went there, one got his MBA there. Usually don't hear to many out of state people seeking out SUNY schools!

Beth, you mean to tell me that Fairfax DIDN'T close? That's a first, they're usually the first to admit defeat! Sorry to hear about your son's truck being broken into...that's frustrating.

Caroline, welcome back...what happens in February, STAYS in February. Sorry, channelling the Muppet Wizard of Oz there.

Happy Birthday, Rod! Double Decade, woohoo!

Okay, I'm caught up.

Had a great time, but back to work in the am. That means I need to hit the hay! But I will tell more tomorrow, as well as post some topper pictures! Yep, found a bunch of new ones this time! Woohoo!

Goodnight!

Suzanne

Morning all! I don't want to go out in snow... oh well...

Deena, I must say that it sounds like the meeting was a real PITA! I haven't had Popeyes since I last visted my in-laws though... very good. I sure wish there was one closer to me.

Suzanne, how was the everything this past weekend? Well okay, you said great, but we want detals ;) And too funny about my sig pic... what *is* there now? It's changed quite a bit over the last year or so.

I'm off to get dressed for work. See ya :)

Just checking in....

Happy Birthday to those I missed!

Sherry...prayers for your SIL.

Nancy...good luck starting the search again.

Karen...glad your first day at work went well.

Suzanne...glad you had fun and are back...sorry about the leg not cooperating.

Mornin' everyone. :wave2:

I got into work this morning to find one of my coworkers sent me an email asking me to help him plan his first WDW trip. This isn't someone I work with particularly often, so I guess I have a reputation around here. :teeth: Driving in today it occured to me that there's more snow on the ground now than there has been all winter too. Ah well ... here's hoping that groundhog was right (*Caroline runs away to hide from meteorology police*).

Beth, so sorry to hear about your son's truck! That really stinks.

Elaine, hope you're feeling better today with no more sniffles.

Kimmar, I'm looking forward to living vicariously through your vacation. Details please!

Hi Deena! Hi Paula! Hi Tara! Hi Amanda!

Sherry, good thoughts and pixie dust heading to you SIL. :wizard: Hope everything works out all right for her.

Lily, happy belated b-day to Rod!

Alan, I can courier some snow to you, if you'd like. It'd be my pleasure, even. ;)

Nancy, sorry to hear your pub of choice was booked up. Hope you find somewhere even better! Sunshine and 60º, huh? I'm making a note of that on my decision list. ;)

Karen, I was really sorry to hear about your boss. I'm glad your new job is looking good though. I hope you have a great time there.

Suzanne, February *definitely* stays in February. ;) Sorry to hear you're having trouble with hives. I get those for any allergy it seems. My doctor told me once you have hives, they're the body's 'reaction of choice' or some stupid thing. Can you use Cortaid? Makes the itching stop, anyway. Hope they go away soon for you!'

Hi to all the other Ya Yas out there in Ya Ya land! (I just had a Romper Room flash there... heehee). Ok, time for work. Have a great Wednesday everyone.

:wave2: YaYa family! It's :sunny: but, :cold: here today. I'm not complaining tho' :teeth:
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
