Good morning, folks!

Gotta agree, the agent stuff has my head awhirl, too. Too many options, too many people involved. Wish we could just pick one out, say I'll take it and that's it.

Amen! :earboy2: THanks for the words of advice and support. It's so overwhelming.:crazy2:

Just a quick peek-and-read and a :wave2:.

kimmar......that is great news about your MIL. Hope she keeps improving at that rate :)

:wave2: everyone.

Page 3!

Hi Ya Yas!
I am exhausted. It is being quite the week here. Glad it is almost over, just not soon enough.
Going to veg some. Will try better tommorrow.

Busy evening... finally home... seems that Lent makes church life busy for me. Actually I am sporting a bad headache, but needed to get to church... so mad love to you all

Quick in and out here...I have read, but I have LOTS to do before I leave tomorrow!!

Had a little accident today and tried to defy gravity on ice....gravity won and I have a nice scraped up and swollen knee to prove it!!! At least I can sort of walk without a limp......oye!!! Nothing like a good limp on an interview!

I will not be around tomorrow, but will check in Friday when I get home!!!

Kimmar, so glad to hear that your MIL is doing so well.....you all have been in my thoughts and prayers.

And Suzanne, any new toppers you may find.....I'll take 2 please!!

Mad, mad, mad love to all!!

Off and running....

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Evening all.

I'm a doofus, I thought I was picking up a coworker from the airport tonight. Nope, tomorrow night. Okay, so Ed gets the Beetle two days in a row, he's happy.

Okay, you can tell it's lent when you walk into Atlanta Bread on your dinner break and the place is a ghost town. And they had all non meat soups, too. That was part of my power lunch hour-went to staples to ask why I got overcharged 75 bucks on the laptop. They quickly credited it, which I promptly spent on a bag and car adaptor! Then I went into Storehouse and Avenue and browsed a bit-gotta go back when I've got time to try stuff on.

Liz, you take care of that leg. You've had enough leg problems for ten people. Good luck, you're gonna knock their socks off! At least you're going someplace warm to meet them!

Todd, yep sleep is good-better way for me to deal with pain. Normally, I'm good at tuning it out, but this time that's not happening. My doc's doing rounds in the am, I'm probably gonna call and ask a few ?'s that the resident probably wouldn't know.

Lainey, I did that horseback ride at WDW in '84. It was nice, but I prefer riding English, which they don't do. Lots of horsefarms around here, though.

I'm looking at the smilies next to the reply box and banana boy is keeping time with the prog that Ed's streaming on the other computer! Ed's response when I told him was 'uh, okayyyyy', like I'm crazy.

Stacy, I had a CM named Ana working for me, she would spell it and say "my parents couldn't afford the extra N" ROTFL when I heard that!

Kim, glad that things are looking good for MIL!

Okay, I forgot all the rest of my ketchup. Guess I should check in again in the am!

Suzanne

Darn! Took me two days to ketch-up

Why is it that when you can sleep in, you wake up even earlier than normal. :rolleyes2 I have that yearly drs. appt thingie today that I am not looking forward to. 'specially since it's been way more than a year so I'm gonna get yelled at.

Anyhoo, let's see what I remember:
Welcome back Elaine, Luis & Alan. Loved the pics Elaine, the cruise sounded like lots of fun.
Kimmar-Good news about your MIL, continued prayers and PD.
Kimmi= sorry about the pool thingie and the smelly dog thing.
Stacy-great pics of the family. AND I was :rotfl2: laughing about the one foot on the floor thingie. Been there, done that  but, it's been a way long time.
Tara-love the new pics of the boys. Well, old pics now since I've been so slack about keeping up. And thanks for the info and PM. Been slack on that also. :rolleyes1
Suzanne-Hope the leg is doing lots & lots better.
Liz Good luck on the interview thing.
Amanda My sister does the same thing when she finds candy on sale. Or anything for that matter, she is the queen of sale shopping. Only she sends the candy home with me and I for sure don't need it :earseek: .
:wave2: shep
Hi Nancy sent ya a PM in case you go to the DS thingie. When's the spring exchange? :Pinkbounc
Where's Pam been? And JRKaren  Did I miss something along the way?
Have we heard from Karen about her sleep study?
:wave2: Sherry, Beth, Lily, and new people I can't remember all the names of
Guess I'm off to shower and ready myself for the day.
OH, you guys keep that cold weather up north please. It has been so beautiful the past 2 days sunny 70's and we're suppose to be back in the 30's Fri/Sat. a.m. :sad2: YUCk!
 puckerup: :rose:

Good morning all... a bit snowy and cold... maybe I'll look up a few pics from the trip to warm me up!

Good luck Liz!! Sorry about the limp, but I am sure you will do great :)

LOL, Suzanne, I can always tell it is Lent when the stores that didn't used to sell fish sandwiches bring them back. I absolutely hate this time of year... sucks when you don't eat fish.
I didn't realize that WDW doesn't do English :( I was too young to remember back then, but I hate riding Western. I understand it, but I much prefer the English style to it. I actually stopped going to a place to ride because they fussed at me way too much when I, w/o thinking, kept riding English style. Oh well...

Howdy Rose Mary!!! Good luck at the docs today! I do not envy you with that. Not sure where our Karens are.... or Pammydoodle for that fact. I hope you enjoy the warm weather while you can though. I'd love to be there right now!

Good Morning!

Was hard getting myself and the boys up this morning. Seems like we all wanted to just stay in bed. :teeth:

Good luck at the dr., Rose Mary.

Elaine...I don't like fish either. I don't know who picked that meat for lent, but I need to talk to them :smooth: Yesterday I had a vegetable sandwich on wheat. I can't fast because of low blood sugar.

Liz...sorry about the gravity thing. Sending prayers on your job interview.

Kimmar...glad to hear things are well with you MIL.

Okay...what is English and Western horse riding? Didn't know there was a difference.

Sherry, all my mornings seem to be like that ;)

Amanda, the biggest difference for me with Western vs English is how you hold the reigns... English is two handed typically and Western is one handed. Also the saddles on Western are bigger (and I find more of a pain since I'm short and at most places they don't ever get them adjusted right for my feet). English requires more physical work they say to keep on the saddle, but that's the style I learned on as a kid, and I am far more comfortable on a smaller saddle using two hands than I am with the "relaxed" style of Western. And if I'm wrong, blame the several people who ran the places who told me the differences ;)

As for the fish thing... I live on pasta during Lent... I am just glad that the fasting & all that only applies to a few days out of the season instead of the whole 40 days it used to be... I'd go crazy trying to find things I could eat ;)

Elaine--I did meet requirements yesterday..Poptarts for breakfast, no lunch and nasty fish for dinner....They were having something with meat I really liked.. :cold: I DIDn't eat it and managed to stick to my guns and not eat when I got home either...so tempted with yummy ice cream in the freezer...

Luis--My adorab...err, um...buddy..How ya been Bro?

Stacey-- ...I guess from here on out i'm the only one allowed to misspell your name...:duck:...(but if it bothers you i'll stop)

Sherry-- :wave2:

Rosemary--Good Luck at the Dr's... :wizard:

Suzanne-- :wave2: Hope doc gives you some answers that help...

Liz-- :wizard: for them battle scars..

Lily--weekend will be here before you know it..

Nancy-- :wave2:

Boo-- :wave2:

kimmar--hope the bank fixes there screw up without too much grief...

Alan--aren't them 2 just adorable?? :rolleyes1

With English riding, you ride your horse on the wrong side of the trail.

Stacy congrats on post 5000...you've won a special dinner from Chef Pam!

But you have to admit, that both of them and Luis in particular, is adorable!

Sorry Luis but you guys do make a cute couple. I know it may not seem manly but there is really nothing you can do about it, lol.

I have been busy this week. Im on the board of Matthews PTA and we have been having 2 fund raisers this week. Tonight I will be at the school attaching cards to carnation the kids are sending to each other.

Sorry to have an EIOP but no time for much more. Though I did want to say Im still sending out good thoughts for kimmar's mil--though I did glance through that she was doing better.

Hello All !!!!!

Hockey game last night was good. Trenton Titans won 5 to 2 :cool1:
I wish that the NHL would stop being such babies and Give In already !!! :wizard:

Elaine & Amanda: sorry about the :fish: with lent, Now Pasta I am on :cloud9: and Salad. But see it's easy for me because I don't eat red meat, pork, lamb, veal etc. ever I DO eat Chicken and Dairy though.

Suzanne: that was cute for the "N" in Ana. Oh and Atlanta Bread is my favorite place to eat for lunch. Thursday is chees soup. Hmm Today IS Thursday right?? Ohhhh Yeaa :cool1:

Alan: so winning a dinner from Chef Pam is that a "good" thing or a "bad" thing ?? :confused3

Liz: sorry about the knee, I did that Last year, didn't even see the ice and wwhhooppps feet came right out under me :rotfl2:

Shep: You can spell my name anyway your heart desires :teeth: so many people do it, it takes me a while to notice anyway. If Elaine didn't ask I wouldn't of known..

Lily: Sorry you are having a Bad week. I hope the ending gets better

Kimmar: Great news on MIL. :cheer2:

RoseMary: Good Luck at the DR and the foot on the floor thing, yea, I laugh too remembering the things I had to do to stop from spinning. :sad2:

Sherry: Staying In Bed :faint: Sounds good to me, sorry you had to get up and get the boys to school.

Ok if there is anyone or anything I missed, I am sorry!! I will play ketchup again later. DH called and asked to go to breakfast. Sooooo have a wonderful day All!!! :love2:

Oh, did anyone have trouble with the Disboards last night? :badpc: It kept telling me WebSite not responding.. :badpc:

Hi everyone and good moring. I haven't checked posts since Saturday so I am waaaaay too far behind to do a proper ketchup.

I have had a busy week so far - on Monday went to Connecticut to tour Western CT State University with DD- it too about 3 hours to get there (think "you can't get there from here") - Yahoo maps sent me on rural roads about 1/2 way!! sne says she liked it enough to apply. Left there at 4pm - had dinner at Dennys with her BF and his family then headed home - got home at 8:15pm and sat down and worked till 11pm....

On Tuesday I brought my car to the auto body shop that my insurance company reccomended - seems at though there is more damage than just the cracked bumper - air cooland something-or-other is bent - oh well - good news is he says he can do it all in 1 day. From thr picked up DH's glasses and ordered new ones for myself...finally!! (coming home from CT MOnday night I am telling DD "put the defrosters on this windshield is horrible - windshield wsa fine it was my stupid glasses) - oh yeah - took a while to pick them out - my face is so narrow that I had to order from the kids selection - so - $318 later I shall have clear vision in about a week!!

Toeay is rainy and yucky - suposed to turm to snow later. DS is home sick with a sore throat. I ended up buying a monogramed duffle bag from LL Bean for DD's BF birthday.

I hope everyone is having a good day ....

and last but not least....a pic of Fluffy

(hope it works - still new to this)

Good morning.

I'm a bad one for buying candy on sale :rolleyes2: I will be out Tuesday getting a supply :) LIke to get the kisses and use them for cookies. M&Ms are good for that too. I don't care what color they are ;)

RM good luck at the dr. I hate that time of year.
I answered your PM...I will give a look ::yes::
Spring exchange sign-ups start MONDAY!! :hyper: Hope enough people play to make it fun. Seems a lot of people are MIA these days.

Liz...good luck with the interview.

Stacy...have a good breakfast out. Let's not go into mispelled names. It is a constant thing in this family. We just give up a lot of the time.
Pam cooking is a good thing :rotfl: Well, depends on what she's found in the road ;)

Suzanne.....good luck getting the info you need from the doc.

:wave2: Elaine
:wave2: Todd
:wave2: Amanda
:wave2: anyone I missed
:wave2: Paula...she sneated ;)

Morning, all.

This is gonna be fairly short, going to Staples to switch out the laptop bag. I thought this was one of the ones that you can unzip completely. Nope. Got used to that from the Thinkpad bag.

Alan, NOOOOO not the wrong side. Pretty funny though!

English is a smaller saddle, no saddlehorn. Riders 'post', which is an up and down movement meant to follow the horses natural gait. By posting, one minimizes soreness that can occur when riding a big animal!

Aha! I figured out why I'm scrolling my screen! The scroll thingie on the touchpad is mucho sensitive, and it scrolls when I type an n or an m! Now that I know this, guess I should keep my hands a little higher.

Stacy, Cheese soup is yummy!! I had that from Frulatti at the mall the day before, so yesterday's choice was baked potato. This ABC is a little different from what I'm used to-they do eight soups a day and don't follow the company calendar. It's okay, they have my faves everyday.

Yep, count me as one getting sale stuff the day after-I have to check my schedule. If I'm closing, down to Target I go!

Shhh, it's a secret, but Ed's sister is flying in on the 23rd and staying for a week. She IM'ed me the other day, asking if she could come (Heck yeah!) and in discussing it, I told her my store was 10 minutes from the mall, I could pick her up and not even tell him. So that's what we're doing!!! Flight worked out perfect, it gets in 20 minutes after I'm off from work, so I can say I got caught in the typical crisis, hehee! Don't tell! It's a secret!

Gotta hop in the shower and head over to the staples...

Suzanne

:wave2:

Elaine, I'm having alot of days where I just would rather stay in bed all day. :teeth:

Uh huh... thanks Todd ;)
Speaking of adorable... we were just talking about your two cuties last night :)

Good for you on the fasting... I usually don't do too bad with it, but couldn't imagine doing it for all 40 days like they used to.

Bad bad bad Alan :p

Great, now Deena's on the "cute" bandwagon with the rest of them! Good luck with the fundraisers though.

Stacy, next time I'll hush to keep Todd from knowing the truth ;) I used to be like you with the food. Actually I still don't eat much beyond chicken and the occasional steak. most of the food you listed I wouldn't touch. Then again I am a really picky eater :rolleyes1

Paula, good luck as y'all go through the college search. Cute kitty!!

What you think some of us do? :p

Suzanne, sounds fun! We won't tell Ed either!

Hi Sherry... maybe we should just stay in bed all day.

With that I realize I am cutting it short, but have a lot to try to get through... I'm loaded iwth some really nitpicky kind of work today... probably tomorrow too at least. Nto much fun for trying to post
