WARNING!!!!! THIS IS ALL ABOUT ME !!!!

hello again, I am home from my errands. Of course I only finished half of them but hey half is better then none right?? I got sidetracked, as usual, by a sale..

I went to the post office to pick up all my dh disney pins..he trades thru the mail.. Then got gas, then over to the bank and then I noticed a going out of business sale everything from 20-70% off so I HAD to go
I am the Queen of Sale Shopping... I only shop when I can buy on sale..

First off it was a store called Amazing Savings, it seems they got in over their head from buying out all the Odd Job Trading stores so they went Belly Up.. too bad for them but very good for me...

Ok so here's what I bought.. 3 boxes of christmas cards with 18 in then each at 70% off they were 60 cents a box, hot/cold cups, big plates, big napkins, dessert plates, dessert napkins also at 70% off so they were 30 cents a piece. Thank you cards 8 to a pack for 27 cents each, 2 bibs, 2 bottles and 2 infant Tshirts (to add to the growing collection of baby items for my best friend) she is due March 22 with a girl, 79 cents each, OK so now for my Fun stuff....Scrapbook supplies.. I swear I am going to start a scrapbook or else open a scrapbook supply store with all the stuff I have...Anyway..ok Jolee's Boutique Sticker Collage, 41 cents each, just don't ask me how many I bought, Confetti christmas and thanksgiving 17 cents per pack, and again do not ask me how many I bought, Die Cut Frames & Accent (kathy davis collection) 12 cents a piece, bought 4 of those because they were all the same pictures, variety of stickers, stickers and more stickers, (i like stickers) 49 cents a piece, lets not ask how many..shall we??..



I think I will have to go back and check on sale prices again soon and if the 20%-40% off items goes up more, well then I will be left no choice but to shop again..

sooooooooooo I didn't get to the mall to buy the new cd I want and I didn't go to a store to return an item but Heck I have 60 days with a receipt right?

LOL!!! Good going, Stacy!!! Sounds like you really hit the jackpot with that sale!! And I was in your shoes for awhile there, too, on the scrapbook supplies. I must have bought stuff for a year or more before I ever finally made my first page!! I don't see anything wrong with collecting scrapbooking supplies as a hobby!

Sorry your leg is swollen again, Suzanne. So you think you will have to make the ultimate sacrifice and go to Hawaii for treatment, huh? Gosh, that's tough Didja make it to the post office today?! I will be checking my box eagerly every day now!!

Tara, doncha hate when that happens?! I got it from the Chinese place a few weeks ago. They always staple the bag shut and I just grabbed it and hot footed it home. Opened it up to find nothing but fried rice--no meat, no seafood, and barely any veggies. I had ordered a chicken dish. Love the new siggie pix, btw! I can just hear Jar in that shot!!

Kimmar, I got my Bible study group prayin' for your MIL, too. Sounded like the doc was pleased with the surgery, at least. Hope all continues to go well.

Been really tired today... I woke up at 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I am more or less running on fumes here...

Sherry, I forgot to say how awful it was that they forgot your DS' birthday for so long! Then again, you reminded me that once again a year has gone by w/o even a card for my birthday from my in-laws

Bethie, not quite snoring yet but getting there This vacation was relaxing... very much so, Luis has just been coughing a lot lately. We aren't sure why either. I did ever so gently talk to him today and he said that he'd go to the doctor in a while if it didn't let up. I think it is either his asmtha getting worse, allergies or something... all I know is that when he coughs a lot, I don't sleep But the kitties are doing fine... jsut as cuddly and bratty as ever. Actually both are creeping up towards the bed... me thinks it is bed time

Nancy, make sure you get the coziest chair possible for your scrap room. I hope if you go to TDS, you have better luck than we did on Sat... was totally disappointed again

Not the real Disney Store, Elaine....the traveling one with the stuff from DL...not sure if I will go there or not. I always spend too much and I already have too much of that stuff laying around here.

Well, with the new Dish, my schedule will be going through drastic changes.
have to watch Prime time shows at the real time, not the 2 hours earlier from Denver, so I will not be on in evenings anymore
Lots of time in the mornings now.

Stacy...there was a guy on Clean Sweep that couldn't pass up a deal. After doing Clean Sweep I think he has different thoughts on sale items. I am just as bad at times. Bought 3 big bags of M&Ms because they were on sale for $1. Took them home, told Todd to take them to work...had to buy just because of the sale, but didn't want to eat them.

Sherry...glad you had a nice dinner.

Nancy...great for me, I am usually not on in the evenings. I will get to see you online more. Hope you find a nice chair.

Elaine...which cruise did you go on? Your pictures make it difficult for me to wait till June.

Tara...I can deal when it happens to me, it's the kids that can't...so I always check their order before pulling away.

Lent begins today. No more junk for me. No more chocolate or soda for Todd....no more gamecube for Mandy and no more candy for Cassie. Don't come to our house if you want anything good or if you want Happy people Seriously...lent is probably the time of the year I am most connected to God. I really enjoy these 40 days. Just wish I could go to service at lunch, but at the new building I am at I have no idea where the nearest church is. When I worked downtown a group of us went together.

Wish me luck with girl scouts tonight. Hoping Mandy turns that attitude from bad to good...she is so good till we get there.

Ahhh.. *that* Disney store... never type things when tired, nothing comes out right Anywho, that one (we had it here in Ohio as well) was really good to go to. They had some great deals here. I'd definitely go again if I had the chance (and I had to go about 50 miles for mine... which for us is kind of far for shopping) But if you already have a lot of the stuff, I might not go either... Luis is just finally getting better about bigger things around the house here

Sorry about that new schedule... that would really stink to have to change like that.

Amanda, it was a Carnival cruise out of Mobile, AL. We stopped at Calica (where you can get a ride to Playa del Carmen) and then Cozumel. I was already looking at another W. Caribbean cruise yesterday... maybe a longer one that goes to places like Ocho Rios, the Grand Caymen, and even Cozumel again. Would possibly have to be a different cruise line though. I'll have to look around. I bet you'll have so much fun on yours!!

I'm very much with you on those feelings during Lent as well. I never give up anything like food during Lent, but I always pick at least one thing about myself I can change that will make me a better person. I suppose you could say I give up things like nagging but I decided on actually 2 things this year I am going to work on. Both aren't going to be easy on me either. Do you hvae an evening service you can go to? I know we have tons going on all day. I should be going tonight at 7:30.

Just remind me no red meat today or any Fridays until Easter please

Elaine...I usually add something like extra daily prayer or chapel time. One year I gave up 'nagging/getting upset' with Todd. That was a tough one. It did make our marriage better, while I did that. We resently reviewed in Sunday school about our body being God's creation and we should care for it. That is my motivation on this. Even though I knew that fact, I wasn't living it.

Amanda, that made me laugh, only because that is one of the 2 things I am "giving up" this year (nagging/losing my temper quickly with Luis). I was between 2 and decided that one would be good for our marriage and the other would be good for the rest of those around me.

I will admit for my NY resolution, I decided to devote more time to worshiping (prayer, studying... any of that really) so this Lent it isn't as big of a change for me in that respect. I do like your view on taking care of your body though... that would be excellent motivation to give up bad food. In church on Sunday, the sermon was about giving things up for Lent. He said exactly as I usually feel when it comes to that. As long as the motivation behind it is more "pure" whatever you pick has to be good. But I think I'll hush on that before I say something that might annoy another (I have rather strict thoughts on some things for myself... and I don't want people thinking the thoughts I have for myself are what I expect others to do )

Actually this reminds me... I wanted to check out my church's new website that they just got up and running... I was curious about something going on this week that I may or may not get to do due to Mass tonight and choir practice tomorrow.

....I'm having a BANNER of a week! My furbaby, Morgana, got SKUNKED at 7AM this morning!! AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!! So, now I had to go to the grocery store to buy some tomato juice and try to give her a bath before going to school!!!! ACKK!!!! I have 'skunk smell' stuck in my nose, my house REEKS, and now my white dog is a lovely shade of PINK!!!

Elaine, the traveling Disney Store comes here every year.....it definitely dents my pocketbook.
I think I may pass it by this year, but if I get too bored, next week, I might have to take a ride over there. It leaves the 20th.

Just need a little computer chair for the room....just need to go look for one.
Other more serious shopping for the 2 rooms that are getting transformed.....well, not that serious. Just a couple nightstands and chest.

Well, Christin did it. She starts school the 28th....we'll see how this career choice goes Now to find the $$$

Todd, you have 10 pounds on you that you can lose??? Good luck with it though. I was hoping to get down to a certain weight by the time we went on our cruise and I was lucky to surpass it (only to put about half the difference back on while cruising )

That does sound like a fun excursion though! One I would love to do sometime would be to take a ride along the shore on a horse. We saw one, but wound up doing a different excursion in Playa del Carmen instead.

Wow, by Alan quoting me, I realize my dyslexia got the best of me and I spelled asthma pretty badly. Mobile had a good effect on me at least... Luis would claim he's allergic to the south and cannot move I bet
