Morning, all.
Had a nice sleep in. Gotta get going early today and find a 12v plug for the laptop. My car has four 12v adapters and it would make sense to have one to use in the car. Three are in the main compartment, so the kids can each have a plug when they play those gameboys.
Got a WDW run going on one of the days this weekend. We'll be going to the state fair one of those days, too. Now that Ed's doing the ebay thing, he's been a smart cookie and researching what sells and for how much. Anyone have topper requests? Let me know, and I'll get them. I did a buy it now last night for a st. patty's from DL that looks really cool. I go overboard for the Irish holiday, so it makes sense that my car will be decorated.
Kim, yuck. I had a dog who got skunked once and that was quite enough! He also had a nasty habit of rolling in deer poop to mask his scent. Good news on the no infections. SIL went through the same thing two months ago-came through fine, I'm sure your MIL will do fine, too.
No longer doing the Lent thing, but some of the things carry over when you spend 20 years as a Catholic, like the no meat on fridays. That's where the fondue pot will get a lot of use.
Went to some outlet stores yesterday and once we left, Ed asked 'where was the Vans store?". On the brochure, they were listed and we promised Kevin he could get some new ones. Little guy went through a box of shoes that no longer fit, and he was insisting they'd still fit-told him we'd go to the Van's store for a new pair.
Did get a new LeCreuset pot. We have a 5.5 qt and a 1.5 qt, so now I've got the blue in a 3.5. Yep, we're foodies, but gosh, it's so nice to have pots you don't have to scrub within an inch of your lives...and they seem to not mind the electric burners.
Which reminds me, need to go to the Harry and David site and see if something's been discontinued-salesperson said she hadn't seen Apricot Butter in months and it's Neil's favorite. Considering how hard it can sometimes be to get food into him, I will buy something expensive if I know he'll eat it.
Nancy, bummer about Dish. We loved when we first had Direct TV. We lived in the middle of nowhere, so we got the national feed for the networks (I'd only been able to get NBC before the dish). We got east and west coast feeds for all of them, so I could watch things later on if I got home from work at 11pm! Now they've fixed that and you can only get your local network affiliates.
Have fun folks!
Suzanne
