EIOP - I HEARD WHAT EVERYONE WAS SAYING ABOUT ME!!!!!

Been battling sore throat, asthma, cold, aches, pains, chills, fever - and probably menopause to boot....... :guilty: Might as well throw it all on me.....

First comes love, then comes marriage....
Then comes pushing Pam's Roadkill Carriage! :cool1:

Rose Mary - I loved your BaB photo! Did you tell them you read about it in my newspaper??? ;)

Nancy - DD is out apartment shopping with some college friends. Send me strength - she called and got me out of bed at 11:10 pm last night to see if I could transfer funds for a deposit.

LOL! Yup, Todd, Junior's still home. :earseek: Will be for quiiiiite awhile. :rolleyes1

Got a letter from Jared's school today. He was referred through a screening process as a potentially gifted child. They want us to take him for further testing in April. :)

tara quietly sneaks in so as not to disturb any of our resting yaya's!!

I've actually had to work the last couple of days...geez!

So hi :wave2: to all and I hope to have more time after this weekend.

Take it easy!!
tara

Get well Pam....don't need those germs added to Stacy's roadkill.....or will that improve them?
Good luck with apartment hunting. Christin stayed in the dorm for 3 years :) I was glad. She was glad she didn't have to clean bathrooms ;)

:wave2:

Yay!! No choir practice tonight... been waiting on that e-mail all day ;)

I am not a trouble maker... no more than you at least :p

Woo hoo!!! At least it wasn't a baby carriage there Pam :teeth: But I am sorry you've been so sick. I do hope you feel better soon  And good luck hunting for the apartment. The ones at OSU were downright scary!

Sherry, congrats on Jared! I hope all goes well with the testing.

LOL, Nancy, I know that feeling about bathrooms... we were very happy to have housekeeping in the dorms. And free stay (due to my job) really helped I think :)

:wave2: all!

Hey All,

Sorry I have been kinda MIA for the last several days. Things have been hectic.

Went for the sleep study on Monday. After waiting two hours for them to hook me up I was exhausted and went right to sleep. I woke several times during the night. I wont know the results for about a week from today. You can be sure I will be haunting my doctor for them as soon as they come in. I can't continue like this. I have nearly fallen asleep several times at work this week.

Sorry I havent done a ketchup but Im so tired my brain is fried. Hugs to all that need them. Pixie dust to all that need it. Im gonna go lay down until the guys get back from Bball practice. I might be back laters tonight. Depends on if I get my second wind or not.

HUGS TO ALL!!

Hi Ya Yas!
OK who let the germies out? Seems as though it is getting close to my turn. Having that sore throat drainage sort of stuffy nost thing. Hope that's all I get. I can live with it if it doesn't get any better.

Kimmie, seems like there is good news about MIL. Glad that things are looking better.

Karen, I hear you are learning to nap on the fly. Good luck with that.

Tara, sorry about that work thing. I suffer so too.

Pam, hope DD gets a great apartment. Seems like college life is agreeable.

Sherry, good news about DS.

Todd, you are such a good guy not participating in that yummy stuff in your kitchen.

Amanda, don't worry so much about the fasting. I have been recently educated that it is not all about fasting, rather about doing good for others. You are ahead of the game there.

Elaine, I'm with you about the fish thing. Eyeeewww. Was always scrambled egg and cottage cheese with those potatoes that everyone else got when it was Friday as I was growing up.

Suzanne, good for you going after that rebate AND spending it right away. You go!

Paula, have fun college shopping. Good that your car will be out only one day.

Stacy, hope you enjoyed your breakfast date. Seems like you enjoyed the hockey game. I guess winning makes it fun.

Hi to Everyone, I won't mention you all by name in case I miss someone; it isn't intentional.

I'm gonna get some hot tea and curl up for a bit before calling it a day.

let me just sy I hate motherhood!!!!!!!!!!! oki feel better. back to my rock

:wave2: all!
Um..... I was kind of hoping 28 might be a good year for it... still too young? Oh well :rolleyes1

sorry guys ;)

Karen, I do hope you get the sleep you need and find out results that you can use to help you. Take it easy

Okay, Lily, I have to say ewww to the eggs & cottage cheese as well. I just am a very picky eater. And I agree, it isn't all about fasting... can help with the focus, but shouldn't be done in any other way that isn't sincere. Other actions speak volumes to me.

Tara   and more

Sherry--YAY for Jared...

Pam--she's sick & still makes you laugh... :rotfl2:

Lily--All the goodies are gone from the kitchen..weigh-in tomorrow..lost 1 pound so far... :goodvibes

Also noting--PAGE 3 BUMP..

Okay, glad that it took too long to get to work today, thereby preventing me from going to Staples. My boss informs me he saw this on Disney Direct:
http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPage.process?Merchant_Id=2&Section_Id=14526&Product_Id=175885

I'm ordering the laptop bag, but I swear, they want to bankrupt me (and my boss). The thing that's stopping me is that we already have two nice computer desks from IKEA and I have a nesting table from my old store that functions great as a computer table. Those lamps, however, will find a place in my house!

Lily, ewww, ewww and double ewww. I hate eggs and cottage cheese. In my house, it was fish sticks and tomato soup, or tuna sandwiches and soup or french toast! Then, when we were teens, my Dad would take me and my sis for onion pizzas! Ed gave the kids fish sticks tonight, so I think it'll be another fondue tomorrow or the always popular pasta for the kids and eggplant parm for the adults!

Todd, teasing Sherry about her man being home? It'll come back to haunt you, I say.

Pam, sorry you're dealing with all those ills, and then your DD wants an apartment-yikes!!!

Karen, do tell when you get those sleep study results. Glad that you were tired enough to actually sleep and let them get their numbers.

Ahh, meds are kicking in. At least I think once the relief pair come in at 1:30 today, I will get the rest of the day to finish performance appraisals-I get to sit for four hours!

I was killing a bit of time tonight in Walmart while waiting to pick up my coworker from the airport, and saw the model laptop that's below mine (30gb vs. mine 60gb) and less features for 500 bucks MORE! Well, at least it came with a carry case :rotfl: !!! My cell phone (which is my 3rd Nokia) has a different plug for the headset from the others and I seem to kill them. Ends up they had an adaptor for three bucks that allows me to use the hands free I loved using with the old phone. Yay! And I got some earphones for the laptop.

Off to bed I go, I have to open in the morning!

Later, taters!

Suzanne

OMG, they are showing a Chocolate Fountain on the news this a.m. :faint:
They are interviewing the guy from Peterbrooke about V.D. (v=valentine :teeth: )goodies.
Yuck it is 38 this a.m., high in the 50's & windy :cold: But, it will be back to the 70's over the weekend. That's the bad thing about FL. we have some major extremes.
Dr. appt was NOT fun. Sent me for some blood work for that menopause thingie Pam mentioned. Do you ladies know you go thru that for YEARS! :sad2: I want it to just get overwith. Also, have to have a sonogram to check out some other issues :(.
Anyhoo-Pam I did actually mention when I was at BAB that a friend on the internet had told me about them and I thought she was joking. :teeth:
Tara-major  HANG IN THERE!
Oops, gotta get ready for work.
:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc Spring exchange coming soon!
 puckerup: :rose:

Morning all... nice and cold (won't even go there for Rose Mary... just know your low is far better than our high today ;)) and I would rather be at home in bed.

Todd, good luck at the weigh in... I think I have lost what I put on last week on the cruise. Haven't been trying very hard this week though.

Suzanne, that desk is too cute! I sure wish they had that when I was in HS. I would've bought it! Now I have no excuse for it ;) At our house for the non-meat days, we always had some sort of pasta, pizza, fish sticks or tomato soup & grilled cheese. The only good part of Lent was going to LJS and getting hush puppies :teeth:

Rose Mary, they were showing chocolate that early in the morning? Evil people! Glad you survived the appt... and you are speaking of things I swear I wish were already done and over with for me ;)

Morning Sherry! I am with you!!! TGIF!!!!!

This weekend I have a lot of cleaning & laundry to do. I think our friend Dave, is coming Friday night and will probably spend a couple nights here with us. That means I have to get all of our vacation clothes washed, as well as the linens for the spare bed he'd sleep on. Not to mention putting away the last of the holiday stuff as well as organizing the rest of the house. Anyone want to help or kick Luis into helping more? :teeth:

Morning all...

Trying to get my taxes done so we can pay off the land/sea crusie. Frustrated. My sister usually does them, but I thought I would try this year.

Sherry...Just ignore Todd, he is just jealous;) Congrats to Jared!

RM...I am dreading menopause. I hear it can start at 40, or slightly before and last a while.

Suzanne...always makes you feel good to see what a wonderful deal you got.

Have a terrific Friday everyone!

Yippee---Friday...this has been a long week... :badpc:

Bumping from page 2...

Morning Ya Yas!
Todd, lost 1 pound? As I recall you seem rather slender. It never occurred that you would be joining in on the weight loss thing. WTG!
Amanda, Turbo Tax...DH does our taxes using that and has for years. He swears by it. It also syncs with our Quicken and that is an easy tax report then. Anyway, good luck with playing with them numbers. Hope you get the results you want.
Suzanne, seems like you are all electronically gadgeted up now. I am enjoying your shopping vicariously. Glad you found some relief for that leg of yours. Hope your pain subsides as your healing continues.
Later....gotta run work calls
