Well, good thing I had a snow day today, because the UPS man came a knocking at my door, and I had a package from Build A Bear. Well, I knew I didn't order anything from Build A Bear, so I knew that it had to be from a Yaya or two.

I opened the box and I saw this little guy:

His name is Jellybear, and he was sent to me by Beth and Liz. Thank you so much for the very unexpected gift, Beth and Liz!

Hi All! Stayed home from work today and finally bit the bullet and went to the dr. Guess what?!? I have bronchitis, yippee . Yep, and I wasn't even whining and complaining about feeling poorly yesterday, huh? And of course feeling poorly is the perfect excuse to EAT anything you want right?
So enough about me.....

Liz, You are correct, now would not be the best time for a call in an attempt to lure Greggie-poo to Fl. With the forecast for 25 tonight and my disappearing voice I don't think he would believe it. However, at least it is .

Afternoon all.

Slept til noon, not a surprise considering how late I went to bed! No sooner did I get in bed that a little guy climbed in, because he had a bad dream.

Feeling really productive, I mailed out all the stuff I talked about last week. Now, I just need to upgrade the windows in the laptop to prepare for being laid up for a few days. Tonight's schedule of events includes clearing off the hard drive of anything important in case it tanks and I have to clip and start over. Then some shredding, before the pile of papers takes over my house.

Hey Everybody,

Having a rough night. I have the headache from h e double hockey sticks. I think it's the change in the weather. Of course the kids both have homework and Im trying to get them to do that. Already went shopping for the week and then to Joannes Fabrics for the supplies for this puppet my eldest has to make of Harry S Truman. This should be fun.......NOT. She gave them a week to get a three page report done, a decorated title page and a puppet done. Me thinks they should have been given more time. My eldest has now written out the report three times trying to get it right. I told him this time just do it in regular handwriting instead of cursive and if he dictates it to me I will type it for him. I know I shouldnt but we would be here until September if I let him type it. I figure he did the main work all Im doing is typing it up. Of course somewhere between now an Thursday with all the extracurricular activities we have to make his puppet. Thank heavens for glue guns and felt and gray fake fur LOL.

Bethie how scary!!!! Did you know the girl that was killed?? Do they think it was done by soneone who knows her?? Please keep yourself safe girlie okay??? Im worried about you.

RM I am so so sorry to hear you are sick. Please take it easy and take care of yourself. Im just getting over acute bronchitis. You definitely do not want to let it get as bad as I did. Take it easy and rest and sleep as much as you can. I hope you are feeling up to going to Disney this weekend but if you are still feeling the least bit sick do NOT go okay?? Pushing youself will only make you sicker.

Lainey I got such a giggle out of the big brains comment. Ya are smart though but I know what you were really talking about hehehehehehehehehe. I have ths same problem.

Oh lovely I just had to yell at my eldest to get back to his report. That just does such wonders for a headache. If he stuck to and did as much as he fools around it would be done already three times over.

I better go scoot and help dh clean up the kitchen. I will be back laters.

Deena...yes Ethan is getting big and beginning to be a little piggy!! He is now eating 2 times a day, nursing once or twice, and taking a small bottle after each meal. He becomes very crabby if I don't offer him "real" food during the day. He is up on his knees but hasn't figured out how to really move. Connor sounds like he really keeps you on your toes!! Tell DH you need a cool new laptop so you can dis whereever Connor happens to be!! hehe

Suzanne...I meant to ask you what you thought of the pink and green store. I just love the color scheme! It still breaks my heart that they are not owned by Disney . But I did hear that my old store is one of 5 this year that TPC is going to remodel!! Yippee!!! We get a new store! (well, I know it is not "me" but I'm still a cm in spirit!)

Stacy...what model is your store? how you feeling today?

Went to exercise tonight with DH. First day back for me since the 1/2 marathon. It felt good to be back. Eating today was not at all good, but it will improve. I'm off to get ready for bed. Morning will be here way too early for me.

My goodness, ya'll not very mothy today!! Oh well, makes it easier for me to ketchup.

Just got home from bell choir practice and yes, the police are still here. Not quite as many cars, but the 2 big RVs are still here. They still aren't saying much, but the news did come out this afternoon saying it was a 24 year old African American girl named Sherine and they showed her picture and said she was found on her bathroom floorl. No, we didn't know her, we don't know any of our neighbors. Around here, people don't talk to each other much--it's kinda sad. We also found out that it was the apartment downstairs, across the hall and it happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday night. I was home most of that time and never heard a thing. I just hope the dang cops don't set off that car alarm again tonight! I can live with the generator. Even though my brain knows that this was probably an isolated incident, I am not looking forward to coming home alone after dark anymore.

Rose Mary, I'm sorry you've been fighting it and now find out you've got bronchitis. I'm sure you know the drill by now--lots of rest, push the fluids and take your meds!! Sorry about your cold weather, too. Thanks for stickin' up for me over the wish for snow and the resulting blizzard that blanketed the Northeast! Nice to know I still have friends.

My eldest finally got his report done and it is a good one. We just have to type it up now. His coversheet is done. The only thing we have left is the puppet. My youngest finished his homework packet in one night so he has nothing for the rest of the week except to study his spelling words. Grandma and Grandpa are picking him up tomorrow for an afternoon of fun so he will be a happy campy. Dh is taking my eldest to his BBall practice so I will have some quiet time just for me!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!!

Well I think Im gonna ask dh for a footie rub and go to bed. Im tired. See ya in the morning.

well my son helped with the house cleaning today and asked to go outside when he was done. Not even 5 minutes after being out there he said nevermind it is way too cold..hahaha.. Funny cause I remember when I was young that I stayed out in the freezing cold til I was purple and someone came looking for me..

son did a great job with dusting, swifting the floors, cleaned his fish tank, even helped fold the laundry.

I actually quit the Disney Store 2 weeks ago and I BET they Missed me these last few days because since I live closest to the mall, they always called me in when others could not make it due to bad weather but, after the DS was sold to the children's place and our discounts in Disney were taken away, figured no sense in me staying there. Especially NOT for $6.19 and hour.
