Afternoon Ya Yas!
I just ordered my last transcript online, and I have one more stack of papers to mail off and then I'm officially done my grad school application stuff! This last bit is a departmental application, and I have the stuff I need for it so I should be able to get it out tomorrow evening - too yucky outside to venture out today. I still haven't heard back from Miami about my missing papers. My dad suggested they spend too much time on the beach. I've decided that, rather than freaking out about it and being a big ball of stress, if it's meant to work out it will and if not, it won't. If they can't even keep the application straight, how much trouble will I have with them over the next 5 years?

Anyway, we'll see what happens. If you guys have a minute, send good thoughts about me in the direction of New Haven CT, ok?
Nancy, maybe you need to get a young geek and and old geek in to look at your computer? I hope it starts behaving for you soon.
JRKaren, sorry to hear about your bosses. Hope the new guy doesn't mess things up for you. I often wonder who they'd get to replace my boss if he left. I think they'd have to go outside to get someone. It's a shame you have someone capable there that the company doesn't want to use. Seems like they're throwing away a good employee.
Amanda, cool about the pilates! I didn't know I could motivate anyone.

And now you've motivated me to keep at it too. Don't overwork yourself while you're still feeling under the weather, though. Hope you're feeling better today.
Deena, did you get anything neat for your birthday? Tasty cake?
Sherry, great news about your BIL and SIL! Congratulations to them!
Kristy, I'm paranoid about leaving a crockpot on all day too, that's why we never got one. I'm going to look into their safety features and see if I can assuage my fears. allrecipes.com has some tasty looking ideas though. Tempting.
Suzanne, sorry to hear about the vertigo. I had a bad bout of that once, and it was awful. Hope you're feeling better.
Tara, I see nothing wrong with talking to the vending machine. I've spoken with the one at work, and I've always found it a very pleasant conversationalist.
Karen, I'm so sorry to hear you're hurting again. Do you have some vacation time or sick leave you could take from work so you can relax for a bit? You sound like you really need to take it easy. Maybe try putting a heating pad on the sore muscle and see if that helps? I'm keeping a good thought for you. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Many
Howdy Kimmar!
Well, I'm going to try to take down the Christmas decorations. We put them up so late I've been holding off since it feels like we didn't see much of them. I guess it's time though. Talk to you later. Have a good afternoon, everyone.
