Morning all,

I used to use the nurse to escape boring classes! I have arthritis in my knees and I'd always get out of Earth Science by telling the teacher that my knees hurt after climbing the three flights to the class--so I'd sit and hang out with a heating pad on my knees while my best friend visited during her lunch! I got a 96 on the state test for it, too, even with going to the nurse three days a week, lol!

Gotta get the last couple of things for my package to send it out on Tuesday.

Zooming outta here!

Suzanne

Oh - I'm familiar with people like some of you! I'm a school nurse (now I just substitute), and we call those kids "frequent flyers". I've seen a few of them here today at the junior high I am working at :teeth:.

I probably won't be back online for more than a quick spell until Sunday, so everyone have a great weekend!

Elaine, that would be great if I could call you to see if the DVC meet is still going on on the 6th! I'd really love to meet some of the DVC gang since I'm going to be an owner myself (I sent my paperwork in today).

Jellyrolls Karen

Looks like I am not the only one who used the nurse ;) I admit, our school was a bit odd with how they asked for passes. If I knew I was going to be late, I would go in and need saline solution or asprin or something. The nurse kind of treated me as he own since my mom had died. And fortunately I really *do* have sensitive eyes and they looked really bad most of the times I went in. She saved me a lot ::yes::

LOL, Krista... frequent flyers... well, at least I was a good student most of the rest of the time :p

Amanda, I have to say your way out was quite wise, given your school's situation.

JRKaren, I'll PM you wiht my cell phone. As several know here, it is my life line ;) so I know it will be on and running at the meet ::yes:: Btw, since you mailed it all in... Welcome Home!!!!

You mean that meeting me won't be enough? I've been DVC since 1995. I'm sure that you'll bump into plenty of us in December even if you can't make it to the official meet. I can't go because DW Sue and I are going to Candlelight Processional at about the same time as the meet at SSR. Oh well.

*sniff sniff* guess we aren't John :(

;)

Bored to death... nothing here to do at the moment *sigh*

:wave2:

Ran to Sam's Club this morning, then went to see my nephew. :)

Our windshield wiper motor died...again. We just bought a new one in Aug. and its dead again. Ordered one but it won't be in until tomorrow morning. We gotta get it fixed before we head to Cleveland tomorrow since rain is in the forecast AGAIN.

 The boss is back and he's makin' me work today  I mean, he KNOWS I have a WDW trip to plan!!!

WELCOME HOME, JRKaren!!!!

And welcome to Ya Ya Land, Krista!! So, did you bring cabana boys with you?! You're allowed 2, ya know! Please see Pam to schedule your Ritual Nekkid Initiation Dance--don't worry, us elder Ya Yas have reserved seats in the front row, so you won't have to put up with the guys drooling on you! :teeth:

We have the same conflict, John--you guys going to Le Cellier?

Good news, we've heard from everybody here about Prime Time Cafe!! If I'm right in remembering that Deena will be trailing a couple of little people, and Karen is right that TC is joining us too, then we have a party of 15!!! Even Dan Murphy said YES!

If you were heading for the PO today, Nancy, I guess your shopping trip yesterday was productive?!! I am sooooooo looking forward to BaB tomorrow!

All you sneaky class-cutters........I was such a goody 2 shoes, I didn't cut my first class till college :o Got detention in the spring of my senior year of HS, though, cuz my boyfriend was late picking me up for school too many times.

Amanda, may you be blessed with the strength of a thousand men with all that you have planned for Thanksgiving! Although, I admit, I miss the huge family get togethers we had when my folks were alive.

Sherry, we have the gloomy weather here, too. What a PITA. Jonathan feeling better today?

Phooey......more work to do........

DS went to the Vice Principal this morning and said he felt he didn't deserve the detention! Here the teacher hadn't even turned the slip in - but the VP said he alsways was 24 hours behind in turning them in. VP listened to my son, who told him about the sticking locker. VP told him to check back at the end of the day. DS did so - the VP said, "No detention, just ignore it and we'll have a new locker for you on Monday." Here the VP went down and couldn't get the locker to work, either!:bounce:

am...I got away with murder in school, I must have just had one of those faces. One teacher tried to send me for a tardy slip, I told him it would come back excused (the office staff loved me) so I didn't know why he was wasting his time...he then just let me in the room and didn't say another word. Good luck to your son.

Amanda,
That's how I was, too. It helped that I worked for the Vice Principal during my senior year....;)

My DD was chronically late - to school and class, and soemhow she NEVER got a single detention in HS. We're talking being 5-10 minutes late to school EVERY day. A lot of the teachers loved her - the Assistant Athletic Director hated her and the lady would try to get her in trouble, (including locking her out of school!) and the teachers always stood up for her and wrote her passes.....:p

Thanks for the welcome, Beth! Should we combine the Ritual Nekkid Initiation Dance with the Prime Time meet :teeth:? I'm sure there are others here who haven't taken their turn yet. . .

Yup. 5PM Candlelight Processional and dinner afterwards at Le Cellier. I seem to have misplaced my itinerary information, but I seem to recall that we are eating rather late.

Post office trip accomplished :teeth:
A big box is winging its way east to someone.....should arrive Monday or Tuesday :hyper:

Ohhh....Le Celiier is our choice after CP too ::yes:: Yummy!!

Beth, Jonathan is feeling better, thanks. :)

I should hopefully have my package mailed out on Monday. :bounce:

I have written down 7:20, but we better double check.

Word to the wise...never shop more than a month in advance for a dress for a wedding. You'll wind up having to return it and get another

That just means I was able to get that indigo colored silk dress since the next size down now fits :hyper: I like this one more (even if this is how my family finds out I have a tattoo :p)

Will be shopping for my exchange over the weekend... should mail mine out early next week ::yes::

Never been to Le Cellier... most tell me I am missing something. I really love Marrakesh myself for CP :)

Combine nekkid ritual dances with Prime Time? Now that's a meet not to miss :p

Pam, so glad that he got it worked out so he doesn't have to serve detention. And of course with the beauty and sweetie your daughter is, I wouldn't give her detention either :teeth:

Beth it will be me, Matthew 14, Evan 4 and Connor 2. LOL last time we had had Topher who was our babysitter and he made sure Matthew ate his greens beans. He is a fun server.
Sherry hope they send you a better motor this time
I must admit I had it pretty easy in school anytime I had one of the coaches (usually football) for teacher. I got away with stuff I wouldnt with other teachers :D

Hi YaYas... :)

It's fun reading about your trip plans! Ya'll will have a wonderful time! :bounce:

Thank you so much for the prayers and good thoughts ladies. They truly make me smile. :) I'm sending a cyber hug to each and every one of you. It's been a long and stressful month, but things do seem to be settling down now. Thank goodness!

Clay Christmas CD.... gasp! I need to look for this and that reminds me... time to pull out the Christmas tunes. Yay!

Safe travel prayers to all of you that are headed to MickeyWorld!

Made Luis take me out to dinner. Amazing how easily he can be persuaded. We went to the new Wolfgang Puck's express place near by. Not too bad at all. We'll try again and they do have good creme brulee

After that I made him go shopping wiht me. Managed to find a pair of pants that I can wear at work (since most don't fit me now). So he bought those for me as well... he's being trained well ;)

Kimmie, hopefully December will be a much better month for you ::yes:: Do get Clay... he's awesome :teeth: And  back atcha

I think I am going to crawl in bed with some books and my laptop. I feel positively beat!

Morning everyone!....thought I would give us a bump from page 3.

Need to get going this morning....lots to do.

Have a great day!
