THANK YOU! 😍

I just called my local warehouse again and it has 63 in stock at the $109.99 price.

I am running over after work. If something happens and I can't find it in the steel I will buy it online ASAP 🤣
I finally got around to opening it. This thing is even cuter in person! 😍

Funny story when I went to Costco. A couple was arguing in the aisle about the price and whether or not they should get it. After I put it in my cart they decided to get one too. I guess my interest was the deciding factor. 🤣

OH Costco also had a Christmas Stitch Jim Shore statue. I should have taken a pic... that Instagram account didn't post it yet! I was able to resist... for now. 🤔

Mickey’s of Glendale at Destination D23 Collections Revealed

1755711929219.png
Pack your bags — your shopping bags, that is! Mickey’s of Glendale is once again heading to Destination D23, bringing an exclusive lineup of merchandise inspired by Disney Parks attractions, global destinations, and the creative spirit of Walt Disney Imagineering. Each collection was dreamed up by the Imagineers and storytellers who help bring Disney magic to life.

From playful park icons to a Kermit takeover, here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming to the ultimate event for Disney fans.

Passport Collection

For this year’s Destination D23 theme, Journey Around the Worlds of Disney,” Mike Quinn, Lead Concept Designer, set out to design something that captured the spirit of travel, adventure, and discovery with a wink to Imagineering magic from across the globe.

The Passport Collection is your boarding pass to a world of Disney magic, literally. Inspired by global transit systems and infused with Imagineering artistry, this graphic-driven collection takes a bold and minimalist approach to celebrating the Disney parks around the world.

“With the overarching theme of travel, I wanted to do something unique and different, both visually and conceptually,” said Mike. “And of course, something bold and graphic that would work well on a t-shirt.”

One of the standout visual elements in the Passport Collection is the use of metro iconography — minimalist, graphic symbols commonly used throughout urban transit signage. But look closer, and you’ll notice they’re coded with abbreviations for Disney parks where the attraction is located.

Disney Destinations Collection

Prefer to take to the skies? Buckle up for Disney Destinations — a charming collection that brings together beloved characters and park icons from around the world in whimsical illustration inspired by the vibrant style of Mary Blair.

Designed by Tyler Krantz, Product Designer for Mickey’s of Glendale, the collection connects all six Disney castles through playful artwork featuring airborne characters like Dumbo, Goofy in his prop plane, and Orange Bird taking flight.

“I was inspired by Mary Blair’s work on the classic attraction ‘it’s a small world’ and her imaginative concept art for Disney’s iconic mid-century films,” Tyler said. “This collection captures the hopeful tone, stylized shapes, and bold colors of Mary Blair’s work.”

Every detail of this collection invites fans to explore the parks through a new lens, from past and present to even future destinations. But for Tyler, one piece stands out: “I’m especially excited about the Disneyland Resort pin. It holds a lot of personal meaning. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure were the very first Disney parks I visited, all the way back in 2001!”

The Muppets Studio Collections

We’re past the halfway point of #TheMuppets70 celebration, and Mickey’s of Glendale is pulling out all the stops with not one, but three exclusive Muppets-themed drops:

  • The Muppets Studio Black & Gold Collection – A sleek lineup featuring the iconic studio logo on a classic crew cap and all-new Spirit Jersey.
  • Kermit Takeover Capsule – A soft, summery lime green takeover starring everyone’s favorite frog.
  • The Muppets 70: #1–35 Collection – Inspired by the first 35 characters spotlighted in the anniversary campaign, this nostalgic collection features cozy apparel and fun home goods.

Much of the merchandise was designed by Dani Iglesias, Producer for The Muppets Studio, who is an enormous Muppets fan.

“If you had told me as a kid that someday I’d be designing for The Muppets, I’d never have believed you,” Dani said. “My design process is all about keeping one foot in the past and one foot in the future — honoring the history of these beloved characters but also allowing the franchise to evolve.”

And when asked which item she’s most excited about?

“There’s a stunning sweatshirt for the 70th anniversary that we’ve been working on for almost a year,” she said. “It’s got over a dozen characters in the Muppet Show-style arches. It’s so soft and cozy — it’s definitely going in my closet!”
