I'm confuzzled too... which day?
8th is Weds... some of us have plans that evening
9th is Thursday... so far I *thought* that was the date, but I may not make it on the 9th if it is then.

Krista, we can plan to meet at any time really. My only booked times are the 6th at 4 PM (DVC meet for those interested at SSR) the 7th for MVMCP, the 8th for Illuminations and the 9th in the morning. Some were trying to push for me to do a 2nd MVMCP on the 9th, but I can't think about that at the moment. THat's my last night there and... well, we'll see

Ressie has been made for 11:20AM, which was the latest time they would give for a group for lunchtime. This is not exclusive to the Ya Yas, so if you have friends or relatives you'd like to bring along or invite, the more the merrier. We just don't want to make ressies for another humongous group where we will get charged for no-shows. That's why we're not posting it on the meet thread. Please PM me with the number in your party if you want to join the fun. We would like to have it all finalized by Nov. 30th, since we will be busy packing after that and then once we leave for WDW, we'll be offline till we come back.

Back from a trip over to Orlando-the Disney Store over there had Muppet T's 75% off. Got myself a few and some for my coworkers !

Saw pictures that Stitch TP'ed the Castle...I'd love to show it here. As a result, we decided to go see for ourselves. Alas, they cleaned up the TP, but we had perfect timing to watch Spectro and then Neil and Ed rode Stitch while Kevin and I did TTC.

Bethie, Beverly tastes an awful lot like Tussi Organidin. I think cough syrup when I have it. Believe it or not, that's Neil's favorite.

I got my buddy Vanessa last week-she'd never been to Epcot and I told her the best soda was Beverly. The look was priceless!

No dice on the 9th. I'll have to be to work at 2:30 and it's about an hour and 45 from my store ...would love to watch Dave sing "I'm a Little Teapot", although we could always go to Whispering Canyon to hear all the strapping men sing it!

Fresh shaved legs on sheets bothers my sensitive skin and I end up scratching. Heck, as soon as the clothes come off, I'm scratching. Allergies stink!

Guess this is kinda an EIOP! The cake is calling me...got to eat at the famous Branch Ranch tonight and we got a piece of the cake to go!

Thanks Lily... smile will return. It peeps through more. Just a week I never want to repeat. Not the worst in the world, but compared to some weeks, really cruddy. Just physically and mentally draining.

Karen & Lily - yeah, a super-duper teacher.... This is actually DS's 2nd year with him - he was blessed to have him for 9th and 10th grade history.

And oh - let me tell you that I did not sit by idly with the 9/11 incident, especially since I called my neighbor, who teaches at the HS, and told her that our flights kept getting pushed back and that finally we had decided to keep the rental car and drive home. She went in and talked to the principal and he told her to call us on our cell phone and tell us to just get home safely and not to worry about anything! And then the teacher sends me a notice.... so....... I send him a letter back, and gave a copy to the principal. The teacher called me and said I shouldn't have done that. Oh really.... I told him that my kid was leading the class, the nation was torn apart, and he wanted to flunk her because she had the misfortune of being stuck in Vail, Colorado while we were under terrorist attack! He backed right down.

DS is going in to talk to the vice principal tomorrow (he handles the detentions) and expalin that his locker sticks and that's what held him up. If he has to take a detention (and I'm guessing he will) he wants to see if he can do it next week during a special 6:45 am one - versus the one from 2:30 - 5:00 pm afterschool. And - he's asking for another locker.

New rule this year - no warnings, you're late one time, you get a detention.

There are a lot of things going on in WDW during those first 2 weeks of Dec. I never knew.

I'm off work tomorrow as I take my Mom to Cleveland Clinic for her usual check up. I will need to bring my book. I'm taking her to Panerra Bread afterward for some light fare if I can find any that suits my taste.

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

I'm getting out of work at 1:00 today to go over my sister's house and spend some time with my niece and nephews. Tomorrow, my sister, niece, and I are going to New York for a day trip with the rec group in their town. It's going to be a long day, but my niece really wanted to go, and I'm going to be their tour guide. We will be travelling 8-9 hours round trip to spend about 7 hours in New York.

Beth, thanks for organizing the Prime Time Meet. I'll get back to you about it. I have a feeling a lot of DISers are going to be tied up in that DelsWife/Zurgs WWTBAM/Rock 'N Roller Coaster meet that day.

Lily, I hope that your mom's appointment goes well. Enjoy Panera Bread. They have some wonderful soups there

Kimmie, glad to hear your mom is doing better. Hope things settle down, and you can come tell us all about Apollo again real soon You are missed around here.

Elaine, do you know how long the DVC meet will run? I would love to attend, but I'm going to be doing the Backstage Magic tour that day, and it is scheduled to run until 4:00

Pam, good luck to your DS. I could see it going either way for him with detention... we had some teachers who said you were late if you weren't in your seat at the bell... but it sucks that they get it immediately for being late. But that teacher... what an... well... you can figure it out! Unbelievable that they got upset because of that. Glad the principal was there to help out. It's the ones like that, where I wonder why they are teachers in the first place (few and far between fortunately!)

Lily, good luck to your mom at her appt. I love Panera!!! I always find something very good to eat there!

I don't think that would keep Luis from coming back next year. I think he actually likes to travel with me now Can't stop smiling about that!

JRKaren, enjoy your weekend! Not sure about DVC meet... I think we are planning to have it at the food court so I would guess we'll eat dinner there as well. If you want, I could give you my cell number and you can call after to see if it is still going on.

Morning everyone.....Tomorrow officially starts the prep work for Thanksgiving. Not sure which smilie to put the shocked or jumping one....or maybe the crazy one.

Pam...I got away with murder in school, I must have just had one of those faces. One teacher tried to send me for a tardy slip, I told him it would come back excused (the office staff loved me) so I didn't know why he was wasting his time...he then just let me in the room and didn't say another word. Good luck to your son.

Rainy here....loved yesterday at 70 degrees. Mandy is obsessed with the direction/temp indicator and the clock. Yesterday she was saying, "Is it really 70 degrees? Wish it was always that warm." Don't we all.

I have to laugh... I used to get out of trouble for being late by going to my friend in the Nurses office... the school nurse was always nice and always gave me a pass in HS
