Morning all... extremely tired and slept in too late to get too church. I don't know what on earth made me thing having a salad with dinner was a wise thing... it just made me miserable last night when I was trying to sleep... but it did taste oh so good

What I wouldn't give for a 4 day wekeend, Sherry... actually I would love a real weekend right now I hope y'all enjoy it! Hmmm... give the boys some time, they may love the thought of meeting the ladies

Tara, sorry about the camera... but sounds like the money is being used in a good way though. I'm sure some day soon a digi camera will come your way.

Liz, sadly I am always up kind of early on weekends. Plus remember we've got an hour on you

Kristy, sounds like you have a great plan with the baby and school (break and all)!!! I am sure you'll get it all done. One of my classmates was pregnant and still managed to graduate on time (she was so close to the end though, that she didn't want to wait... plus her husband was being transfered out of state and well... you get hte picture). So I know it can be done even with a little one in the house

Sorry about Christin's job... I'm shocked they weren't very flexible with the hours though (I know ours was prime for college students and odd hours)

Lily you had me racking my brain trying to remember who in your life was preggers!!!! Glad you finally cleared that up!! So what kind of critter is AA?

RM...I'm doing a Geisha picture. It has 20+ colors and every stitch is practically a different color. You can see it here but it is not a very large picture. I will try and snap some photos of it and show you what it looks like close up!

Karen...my plans for today are the same as yesterday...veg around the house play with the kidlets and get some more stitching done. I'm in the zone now so I only want to stitch!!! lol!

Elaine...I do wish we would go nonsmoking around here...however, Tobacco was king in Virginia for a long time so I think we will have to wait awhile til we can dethrone his royal highness!!!

Okay, that's all the ketching up I can do.

Gonna go see what is causing the little one to holler! I think he as discovered that if he hollers loud enough people come running!! He has learend to fake sneezes so well that the other day mom gave him medicine because he was sneezing so much. Last night she was sitting right in front of him and faked a sneeze and as soon as she said "Bless you" he sneezed again!! It was too funny and it was way better than any adult fake sneeze I've seen!!

Okay, gotta say it cuz it was the last thing I saw, BRAVO Tara, on hitting 11lbs! That geisha is nice. I'm a stitcher, too, well I was...I've got two half finished projects that have been that way for a long time. Now that mom's in her new house, I probably should pick up the shell wreath one again-it matches her bathroom.

Lily, I figured you got a new BaB. So, is it my fault since Ed thought I felt left out?

I'm raising such disnoids...one asked for Mary Poppins this morning, and the other just popped in sword in the stone.

Karen, kudos to you for duplicating the blow dry thing. I do not own one because I'm such a spaz. I even tell hairdressers that I don't own one!

Rosemary, L'Oreal RA06 here...been that way for years! I'll come up and help you if you're in a teenage crisis and need hair repair, lol! Glad Cameron had fun with the friends. You're a wise woman, get those boys that Krispy Krack-get yourself a cup of that coffee, too!

Lainey, I've never used them myself. In Bethie's area, they did perishibles, but on my side of the river, they only added it about three months before we moved. By that time, I was sooooo happy that Wegmans was there and didn't feel the need for them. Right now, I've got my own personal Peapod and his name is Ed! If you consider it, my in laws and best friend on LI have been using it since they started up there and won't go back to the old way.

BIG NEWS!!!!! My sister in law Nancy (the other Meriweather fan) has been declared cancer free! Seven months after diagnosis of esphogeal cancer, lots of chemo and radiation, they can FINALLY make their move to Florida. They have been trying to move for three years, but life has thrown lots of things at them. They're getting an estate sale service to help them-and are on the fast track. I expect that we'll be celebrating together by Columbus Day.

Part of Jane's trip includes scoping out places to live-if she's happy with a builder, she'll get the ball rolling on having a house done. I think it'd be better for them to build, the only wrinkle in that is that it'd have to be done by the time we hit October 1st. Which is why I think my prayer of getting here after them wasn't answered-they probably will need us to do stuff for them here. I'm doing the happy dance here!

Nancy, yummy...love Enchiladas, got any leftovers? That's one of those things I never make at home, but I know it's easy.

Kristy, look at the internet as unfiltered information...and don't worry. I know several women who were rather 'pooh sized' and had babies without any problems. I'm not a good guide-I'm big now, but I was at goal weight when I got pregnant with both boys. If you're high risk, it's not the end of the world...I was with Kevin. Most of us can walk you through anything you encounter, but if it's high risk, I'll be happy to calm you down!

Amanda, that pie looked positively yummy. Wish the guys liked Apple, they like everything but, so I don't make it. I hear some shortcake calling me, and think that'll be part of tonights dinner.

DS got the ones on the right about a month ago. Unfortunately, my store never got them, I've been grabbing them from other stores. The one on the left is a DL one that I bought off ebay. The one that you can barely see is a Lime Green (DIS color!) that DS has as part of the spring pastel assortment.

I plan on checking to see what's available at the store I'm training at tomorrow.

Oh yeah, a coworker is going on the cruise in March. I'm giving her 50 bucks for toppers, lol!

What's cool about this picture is that the house is there in the mist...the rental place, that is. So it looks like it's a ghost house, lol!

Tara, I think I have a lemon Easy Share. Nine times out of ten, the dumb thing won't turn on and when it finally does, the pics are nothing but blurs. We've changed batteries, played, adjusted and tweaked everything we can think of, but nothing changes. Sigh. That Geisha is GORGEOUS! So much detail!! Wow! My eyes would permanantly cross if I tried to do something like that!

Elaine, I hope everything is okay with Dave. Hope you're having a good day with the cousins. We didn't make it to church today either. Feels weird not going. Cam is at Jake's house, and Tom needs the day to get tax stuff together, so we opted to stay home. Seems everytime we go to church, it turns into an all day affair in town having lunch with friends, shopping etc... so thought we'd better steer clear today.

Hi Karen... yay/daybed! Hair too! I'm utterly hopeless with my hair. Ask Elaine. She's watched me try to deal with it on a few occasions. Even rescued me a couple of times. LOL!! I'm so glad to hear the O2 is helping you!!!

Rose Mary, I hope your coffee date was wonderful! ...and kudos to you for surviving the birthday bash! Last teenage birthday boy bash we had here was NUTS! That night, we found one boy on the roof of our guest house... had to make him get down... woke up the next morning to find a plastic patio table swinging from my oak tree. That's what I get for leaving Tom in charge when I ran to my bedroom to hide. He was probably the goon that put the table in the tree.

Paula, home brewed beer! How fun! Tom had a co worker that used to do that. Every once in awhile, he would send a bottle or two home with Tom. It was very good!

Suzanne....the DS by us never has toppers. Why do some stores get them and others not. One of the CMs said they are always so excited when some come in.....and then because it is so seldom, they don't last long
The only ones they had last time, was the bunny ones.

Afternoon all!

Looks like another sinus infection for me. Good thing my Dr. knows me and gave me a refill from the last one. I will start those tonight.

As for the Apple pie....none left. As soon as individuals realized I had made it, it was gone. Todd and the girls don't eat apple, so I usually make it for company or to take somewhere. I also made one for my brother, since I promised him one in November and hadn't gotten to it yet.

Going to lay down and rest for the day. Went to church, but told them I wouldn't be back for evening service.

We are home. Found a beautiful daybed and dh bought me a new mattress to go on it. He said the old one wasnt in great shape and he wants me comfortable. He is in the process of going to pick it up now. I am so excited. Now we will both sleep comfortably and it will look great in the living room. The guy at Furniture City is gonna be in BIG trouble if it all doesn't fit in the Honda CRV. He assured us it would so dh agreeded to save the money for either having it delivered or renting a truck to pick it up.

Suzanne I am so excited for your SIL and you. That is so wonderful!!! I love your topper collection.

Tara what a beautiful cross stitch you are doing. I wish I had the patience for something like that. I also can only do patterned cross stitch. I cant do counted cross stitch.

Woooooooo Hooooooo my daybed is almost finished!!! I am soooooooo excited. Its so pretty!!!! I cant wait to set it all up and put the comforter set on it. They gave it to me for 30.00 and its normally 100.00!!! I will probably not put the shams on because I want the pretty detailed back to show. Im gonna be sleeping like a princess tonight!!! Yippeeeeeeeee!!!!!! The wood pedistals match my grandfathers clock like it was made of the same wood. Im doing the happy banana dance over here!!!!

Enjoy the daybed, Karen! I drove by a resale shop near us today and they had a nice wrought iron one out and though of you!

Went to Borders with the boys...they're both happy, they got what they wanted. I was unsuccessful in my search, but I'm gonna see if the used bookstore back in Frederick has them. Decided I wanted to learn more about Frank Lloyd Wright and Arts and Crafts interiors.

We're going to enjoy a nice dinner out in a little while. I'll check back in later.

Dreary day here.....raining/slushing.....just plain ugly!!!

Went to the Y today (in search of weirdos) and all I found was a pain in my shin. Seems I have a wonderful case of shin splints...gotta find the orthodicts and see if I can make then go away!! If not, I am think a lot of swimming is in my future till I get the muscle up to snuff!

Suzanne, How Dare You Talk to Me Like That, from Miles Away, while watching the Time and Tide? LOL!! I LOVE Basia....she is one of my faves!! She could very easily be a YaYa with all the YaYa's in her music!! Hope you are able to score some tickets!! Great news about your SIL!!!

Kristy, I am in agreement with everybody else....get yourself away from the puter!!!! You have already lost some weight, and you know what you need to do. You will be fine. As others have said, find yourself a good doc and everything will fall into place. Also, being aware of what you put in your mouth is half the battle.....and I know you know how to eat healthy.......just keep up the good work!!

Amanda I hope your sinus infection goes away soon. I've had several this season due to the ups and downs of the weather. Try putting a hot compress on your forehead. It should help ease some of the inflammation.

Thank you again everyone for the reassurance and advice!!! After sulking for a bit last night I hopped back on the net and found numerous "big, beautiful and pregnant" message boards. It was comforting to know that many other women are going through this and they haven't had as many problems as the studies show. I've been delving into the nutrition sites today trying to figure out what I should or shouldn't start eating.
I took my very last bc pill last night...so the new cycle should start by the middle of March. How on earth did you make it through the 3 months of preconception planning without going nuts? I'm so excited about this that I just want to start trying now...not 3-4 months from now.

Finally checking in... just put in the WDW DVD again to finish it up. I also just realized while doing laundry, that a shirt I bought on yesterday was the wrong size. Shopping with two guys apparently got me all mixed up... I picked up a S & M and even though I only tried on one and realized it fit perfectly, I still picked up the wrong size. Pity, I really wanted to wear it tomorrow... I guess I will on Tuesday after I get it switched out for the correct size.

Oh and my cousins wound up not coming over... I did want to see/hear all about WDW, but I am happier now that I was able to read a book today... somehow I finished about a 500 page book in one day

Y'all did make me go back and look at what I might have said about Dave because I totally forgot... he was just a wee bit drunk last night and got emotional over something. I think he's fine because he doesn't quite recall all that went on. I reasurred him that he was good (especially considering how much he had to drink) and told him we had to get together more often... I just wish him happiness... I'm not sure he is terribly happy with himself.

Tara, I hope some day y'all get the non-smoking thing too. Even all the smokers I know love the law as they hate going out to smoke filled places. It's a great thing for most I know.

Nancy, I think next weekend will be the one for sleep... if not, someone is going to get hurt

Suzanne, Luis does some of the grocery shopping, but he isn't very good at picking the things I really need... he usually calls 2-3 times while out We had peapod here for a while, but never had a chance to use them.
I love your Boo Boo and your new bag! How big of a laptop does that bag hold?

I know church isn't usually a day long thing for us, but it does take at least a half a day for us. I will say now and then, we wind up spending the day with our friends though, but I know every once ina while, we just have to say no. Today was a wise day since Dave was here. I wound up skipping since Luis is more missed at church than I am usually.

Liz, yucky weather here today as well. I wish I could've slept in longer, but didn't happen. I think I wasn't able to really go to sleep until after 4 and I woke up at about 8:30 or so... didn't roll out of bed until 9. WIsh I didn't have a show to watch tonight and work tomorrow
