Hey all,

Thought I would drop in before going to my eldests bball game. Just got home from getting my hairs done. She did a great job as usual and this time did something different by blowing the top out. Dh really likes it a lot and so do I. Now to see if I can recreate it LOL. Got my youngests bball pictures this morning and they are GREAT. I cant wait to see my eldests pictures.

Gotta round up the boys and get them out the door for the game. I will checkin laters and ketchup.

HI everyone - Happy Saturday!!

I had a lazy morning - sat in my PJ's and watched Food Network!! DH was "brewing" - he makes his own beer - so I figured I'd just stay out of his way. Opened some windows while I cleaned the house - fresh air !!!!

Amanda - good luck with Jury Duty....I went for the first time this year - only had to go 3 days - got picked for 2 potential cases but got excused from both (both were car accidents and since I have a pending case I was the last person they wanted!!).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALAN AND CAMERON!!

Rosemary - a teen son - yippeeeeee!!!!!

Suzanne - I think that's great that your sons are musical - I bought my son a guitar for Christmas this year - he thinks he's a rock star - haha!!

Evening/Morning, whatever it is wherever you may be...

Had a good day at work, although it didn't go quick enough. While I was working, the menfolk were at a barbeque. Yay, Ed's meeting people and is friends with the parents of Kevin's school bus buddy. Everyone was happy, which makes me happy. They actually got in after I got home, and Kevin asked for his snuggle time before he'd go to bed (he'd been sleeping in the car). He smelled like bonfire, lol.

I want to do a proper ketchup, but my brain isn't working. The meds are so frustrating in that regard, but the benefits far outweigh that minus right now. It's good to amuse my coworkers when they see the dummy come out!

I bought the new stitch holding the duck plush. Show it to Ed tonight. He promptly goes awww, and takes it from me and hugs it. I have a feeling this stitch won't go to live in the car like I planned. (Gotta have an attack stitch for the car, lol)

MY HOUSE HAS SHINGLES. Good thing, too, cuz I was gonna try to rustle up a cheetoh patrol. The project manager told me they were gonna be delivered on Thursday and put up Friday. Well, they got delivered this morning, were on the roof when I rolled by at noon and I called Ed. He called me at 4 to tell me the workers were halfway done, then he rolled by after the barbeque to see a completed roof under the streetlight. Cross your fingers that they can get the drywall and finishing done by April 1st. I really want to have a full month to move so I can paint first, then move things in.

JRKaren, I thought I read this week that some celebrity was in Sweet Charity's touring company-and I thought that it was inspired casting. Been rather surprised at the quantity of touring shows we get here. No, it's not like when I was an hour out of NYC, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Which reminds me to call mom in the AM. One of my favorite jazz singers (Basia), is touring and will be in Clearwater next month. Ed's not a big jazz fan, but Mom probably would enjoy this. If not, I'm going by myself. I saw her years ago and as good as her albums are, the live show had such amazing energy! Maybe I should burn Mom a disc of some of her stuff.

Uh oh, Ed fell asleep in the computer chair, guess I need to get to sleep, too.
I don't want him to get a crimp in his neck!

Good Morning All,

Busy day planned for me today. Church first then we are going to look at a daybed to put in the living room. Dh cannot stand the sound of the oxygen condensor and I cannot sleep on the couch so we are buying a daybed and putting it where our old loveseat is now. That way I will be comfortable and dh will be able to sleep. I found a really pretty one that will look nice in the living room that is not too expensive. We already have a mattress so we dont have to buy that. I am feeling very spunky and rested today!!! YEA!!!!

What does everyone have planned for the day?? Anything fun and exciting?

Well gotta go get the boys up for church. I will checkin laters.

It's a Good Morning when you can say you survived 3 teenage boys in your tiny apartment. I just locked myself in my bedroom and let them have the living room. Cameron said "thanks" for the birthday wishes. He thought that was really neat. And I say "thanks" for all the . Leave it to Pam to bring up the driving thing, my next big fear . Well, I just won't think about that now.

Kristy: Don't drive yourself crazy reading all that stuff. QUIT! Just wait for your dr's appt and go from there. You have plenty of time if the time's not right now. Look at all the women having babies in their late 40's Good Luck to you both I'm sure you will make great parents.
Suzanne: Glad the meds are working out for you. You sure were up late last night.
Sherry: Your guys are lucky to be getting a 4 day weekend. We are still making up hurricane days here. I'm looking forward to sharing teenager stories .
Nancy: Sorry to hear Christin's Olive Garden thing won't work out. And yes I agree I think boys are easier than girls, rougher.louder and smellier, but easier .
Liz: How's the rocker Don't know what more I can say about the biker dude. He will be back Wed. He is very sweet but................Well, I have a coffee date today with someone else I met on-line. Biker dude's expiration date may be coming up . We'll see.

Good Morning RM. Glad to hear you survived the teen invasion. Oooooooh a coffee date today. You have to tell us all about it when you come back!!!

I am in SUCH a good mood today. I styled my hair today and it came out just like it did yesterday when the stylist did it!!! Whats even better than that was I was told by both my boys how beautiful I looked. That just made my morning!!

Suzanne, good news that friends are being made all around. Shingles too! Oooh how exciting to hear of the progress. Seems like things are coming together nicely.

Kristy, I think the same thing. Don't go too near the research. Just make sure you are making healthy eating choices. You will nourish you growing child as long as you make good choices and take the vitamins you will be prescribed. I have a young thing here who is preg and making healthy eating choices. She is losing weight, baby is growing as he should. She is doing well. Things will work out.

So I've got a cuppa ready for me and my bowl of oatmeal is done. Microwave is beeping. Going to grab it before I wake everyone else here.
