Gras parades and they could survive almost anything!

They were Radar's soft drink of choice. Grape and orange are the most popular, but there are other flavors.

You can find them in cans or plastic bottles in any grocery store around here but it's been years since I have had one.

Jeannie, I wouldn't be shocked that Sherry was w/o power. I did see that the power is out for a good portion of the state and right through the top of Ohio. Toledo is getting some back so hopefully all will be restored soon

Jordan and Julian!!! Of course...now how could I forget those two? Lovely names Sher...what excellent taste you have....they KINDA sound like soap opera names....(jk...I do love their names. Masculine, yet still romantic and dreamy.) Yes...ELaine...like the name 'Antonio'.

Sherry...your family names sound like mine..my dad's side is Ted, Tina, Terry, Tim, Tara, Ted jr. on my son's father's side there are 4 John Jacobs all of whom go by a different version Johnny, Jack, Jay (not sure what sr. went by I only knew/know 2-4) then there are Jeff, Jacquie, Jarrod, Jackson, and John.

jarrod came home tonight exhuasted and crabby. I was very glad to have him home with me. He is excited about his trip to see Mickey on saturday. I'm excited for him, but nervous at the same time. Of course everything that could go wrong is running through my brain and I have to just try and block everything out. My brain is just not big enough to do that!

GMA made it through surgery. The dr. removed part of one tumor but that was about it. It was kind of funny though, when she was in a room and they had her hooked up to the morphine pump she was slightly loopy! My granmother does not have much of a funny bone, but boy was she knocking out the one liners today. My mom asked her a question and she didn't respond for quite a while, so when mom went to ask her again, she piped up and said "I heard you the first time, I'm thinking right now!" Then she closed her eyes again. Never did get an answer from her. Then when they tried to take her dinner tray she insisted on keeping her sorbet cup. She thought it was her own dish and didn't want them to take it. It took a while before she finally realized that she wasn't at home. We know this is the med b/c she was not like this 4 hours early before her surgery. so now we wait!

Okay, i'm going to bed now. No nekkid swimming in the moat tonight, I'm too tired to go out and show off for Alan.

Still a mess around here in NE Ohio with this blackout. Thankfully we have ours back, but lots of people are still without. Alot of people are now without water, too. We have a boil alert until noon today.

Cleveland is closed down until noon today.

LOL Jeannie, I agree Antonio is a great name. And Sherry you did a gret job of naming Julian! I love his name... he's on his way to being a heart throb with that name alone

Sherry good luck to all those around you w/o power. I can't believe how much was taken out. It looks like the WHOLE state of MI was wiped. Almost half of Ohio got it too and if I was in the next county up, I could have been w/o as well
