Hey Chickies and Bothers....I want to teach my GS troop the Pledge of Alligence in sign language on Monday. Any ideas on where to learn how?

Jennifer, PM talkinghands or WMCC (they both sign, well, I am pretty sure CC does, but I know for sure Talkinghands does) I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

Bubble Boy's preschool teacher taught them the alphabet, and about 30 words, and he still uses them now and again. It's very cool to see.

Betty....here's a couple of goofy thoughts for your party...

1)to symbolize the different schools/states he's been in...you could just make a cardboard sign post...maybe on a pole that you could plant in the ground....each sign would give the name of the school...years there...state name...and maybe the (approx.) distance from that site to the 'old school'?

2)Don't know if you could do this...but....how about some type of walking 'poker run' or trivia game about him....along that bike path?...you could start out closest from your tables to it with some photos/questions of his early life/interests/etc...then have "stations" every little bit along the path which represent progressively older points in his life .....at the concluding (or "current point" ) you could have something special there for him (like a new BMW? )...the symbolism of doing this (or something) along the path naturally is his progression along the pathway of his life...

just a couple of thoughts....If I have anymore numbspells...I'll send 'em along

GP, you have great ideas. I will probably use at least one of them. I knew I could come to the DIS Ya Yas for great ideas.

Well, I have just successfully put together the fountain that DH got me for Christmas. I wanted to put it in my bathroom so that when I take those long whirlpool soaks I could relax. I already have the candles, bath foam and CD from Bath and Body Works. So now I have my little piece of heaven.

Hi All!!!!

Still no word yet. We wont know now until Monday or later. Oh Poo! I hate for him to have to wait like this. The wait is killing the two of us LOL.

Work went a little better this afternoon. I got caught up a little more but still not able to do my problem children accounts. Oh well. I can only do what I can do.

Marilyn my boss looked at my ear and said its probably my jaw thats causing it. Other than a small broken blood vessel in there there is no problem.

Whats everyone having for dinner?? I went to the green grocer today and got some wonderful looking tomatoes and mushrooms and spinach. We are having spinach shrimp salads for dinner tonight.

Nancy I am so sorry about dh's luggage and would be happy to join in the cheeto patrol for the airline. I hope ds doesnt have to use your flowered luggage.

I'll have you know I ordered new Standard Issue today!! IN COLORS!!!!I was feeling a little wild, I guess........ NO HOLES!!!! Now, as long as we don't have to march in the heat, I'll be just fine. Unless, it's one of my squirrelly days, of course............And gee, I'm sooooo disappointed that I won't be able to win the oldest contest.......NOT!!!!!!

Karen, I'm catching the next flight to Southern Fla. Those salads sound sooooo yummy, so would you make one for me? Please and thank you!! And so sorry they've put off the promotion announcement. Waiting is the PITS!!!!! Great work on the taxes, too!!
