I went there also GP. And I definately respect your opinion, just as I would appreciate someone else respecting mine. And believe me GP, I am being a real chicken here, cause someone on that thread really got my goat on how they phrased something, and I did not post. I am one of those people who is better off not saying anything until I know I can say it rationally.

Deb, the town where my train station is had yellow bows/ribbons on all of the lamp posts and tons of trees today. It looked great! That's what I was describing to DH.

Hi Michele. I have never been on a cruise. But a girl that works for me just came back from a Royal Carribean cruse about 2 weeks ago. She said it was wonderful. And the pictures are great! I have heard others at work say that that is a nice cruise line.

Yes, I really like cruising. Trying to get dh into what I think is a great way to travel. BUT I want Disney and he doesn't and I do not want to go on Carnival. RCI might be a good alternative!!

Michele I have never been on a cruise. I got sea sick on a yacht one time and I have been afraid I would get sick on a ship too. I dont want to spend that kind of money to find out if I do or dont LOL.

Michele, the girl at work said it was a great cruise. They liked it so much, that when they got a special offer in the mail to book early for a 2 week cruse next year at a fantastic price, she and her family talked about it and as of today they are about 99% sure they are going to book it. I can ask her Monday if there was anything about it she did not like and report back to you.

Hey Ya Yas guess what? My soon to be teenage Girl Scouts said this to me tonight..."Hey Mrs. Y.....you can really MOVE!" Hee hee... They finished their badge work early so we cranked the stereo and I taught them ya don't have to be 13 to be able to dance!!! Elder Ya yas...you would have been proud!!! The girls tried to teach me a "new move"...OMG...thought I blew a vertebrae!!! I can move alright...but not like THAT!!!! And I developed a new found appreciation for the stuff they call music...it does have a goooood beat!!!

I had a cruise booked once, and the downpayment made. After all that, DH finally confessed he really did not want to go on a cruise. I was glad he told me before we went. I wouldn't have wanted him to go on one if he really didn't want to.

I am excited. I was afraid the place we booked for our DW vacation might not be as good as it seemed because of the low price I got. But several others on the Orland Hotel board booked there too. One of the DISers on that board just got back from staying at that hotel and just loved it!

Marilyn, where did you book? I can let you know more local info if you want? Find out if your friend used a travel agency and what ship was it and what itinerary and well, I have lots of questions and no one is answering me on cruise critic.

Karen, I got sick on one of those smaller "casino" ships. Not on a big one though. They have stabalizers and even though you could feel some side to side motion, bonine worked for me. I agree, it would be hard to spend alot of money and then absolutely hate it or be sick.
