Hi guys, I'm back again.

s&k'smom a belated :bday: I hope you had a great day.

Well I have been away on residential with my kids (not actually my class, we took some of the younger ones.) We had a good time overall, although it did rain quite a bit, not good when you are going on walks through the countryside and doing outdoor activities. The kids were well behaved though mostly and we had no tears which is unusual. The first night the teachers finally went to bed at 1:30am and then on the second night we wore the kids out so nuch they were all asleep by 10:15 which was better.

Today my best friends are flying to Orlando without me :guilty: . They decided to book a last minute fly drive to Florida to do the beaches (but not WDW afterall they are going there at Christmas with us!!) My Disney mad best friend is going to Orlando but isn't allowed to go to Disney :rotfl2: (I shouldn't laugh I know, but it is funny. He is actually trying to claim he needs to go to WDW to get something for me as an excuse to go for a day!) I do feel sorry for them though as they have not had a break from work since Christmas so the holiday is well deserved. But the weather forcast is horrible. Orlando is forcast heavy rain and thunderstorms all week, here at home we are forcast sunshine and temperatures around 75 - 80 degrees!!

Oh well, does anyone have any nice plans for the weekend? We are just about to head out to the DIY store to buy a couple more paving slabs so we can finally lay the patio area in front of the BBQ. I'm not sure what I will do later, Pete is playing in a concert near London so will be out for the evening. I think I might just veg out in front of the TV for a change.

Good morning, hey Danauk missed you.

Plans for the weekend, well if the sun comes out a friend has invited us to swim in her pool. But because the weather been so iffy again I haven't even mentioned it to the kids.

That's about it. Hopefully good weather and kids that behave!

Weekend plans? well...

First of all, I need some gas (petrol). My low fuel light went on and I noticed my "expected Range" was 0 miles (that was 3 miles ago; but there is still enough gas to go the 3 blocks to the nearest gas station.

Then, I will either meet DW and my mother for Lunch, or go home. DW has been in a bit of a tizzy lately because TagBabyIan has decided he likes being held (and the holder must be walking not sitting) if he is not eating. So, I think I will grab him and throw her out of the house for a couple of hours.

For tomorrow, she has promised as nice a fathers day as I gave her for mothers day, so I can expect a lot of quality time with TagBabyIan. We will either go to BRU to redo his 6MO photos, or I will have my Sunday Morning Outing that he seems to enjoy. For Dinner, My parents at their country club....

See you later...
:jumping2:

Good morning everyone :wave2: - I'm starting to feel better and I am able to eat solid food now, which helps give me some strength back. I've also been getting a lot of rest which helps too. :)

ohanafamily - I hope you have a great Fathers Day tomorrow. You always sound like a fantastic father - enjoy your day tomorrow!!

Danauk - Stephanie has her dance recital today and she is very excited. Her costume this year is absolutly beautiful and her recital song is the theme song from Beauty and the Beast princess: (the one Mrs. Potts sings in the cartoon). Having this song is perfect for our family!!!. Good luck with finishing your patio, I hope it all turns out great. What does Pete play in his concert? Does he sing or play an instrument - you guys are so talented!! ::yes::

Hi guys it's been a wonderful birthday. Thanks again for all the well wishes. My Dh asked me what I wanted and I told me 3 days at the Contemporary by myself.

s&k'smom - I'm so glad to hear that you had a good b-day :cake: . You sound like a great mom and that you deserved it. Staying at The Contemporary sounds like a great gift idea - we are actually staying at The Contemporary in Sept. I love it there and I can hardly wait!!

Saturday night we are having my family iver and celebrating Fathers Day and grilling chicken and burgers.

geffric - Have fun with your family over - you couldn't ask for better weather. :sunny: Hasn't it been great here - weather wise - lately?? There are times in the winter I would love to move to Florida, but then when we have weather like this, I'm glad we live in the Mid-West. Anyway...have a great time Saturday!! :)

Well I guess that is about it. To all the Father's out there and to everyone's husbands that are Father's or Uncle's, Happy Father's Day to them too. Talk to you all soon - I have to go give Baby Katie breakfast and get this day going. Baby Katie is now sitting in a booster seat at the kitchen table like a big girl. It's so weird to see her there - she's still a baby!! She started crying everytime I brought the highchair out and I couldn't figure out why. Then I put her at the big table and she was happy :confused3 . It's funny how children think.

Talk to you all soon

slo Pete is playing violin tonight. He is playing his folk fiddle at a celigh with a folk group. He is somewhere near London right now so will not be back until about 1am. But there is back to back extream makeover home edition on the TV so I am happy.

Well today has been wonderful here in England. It hit 80 degrees this afternoon which was nice for a change. Tomorrow is fathers day here too but I can't get to see my dad. I am seeing him next weekend instead as we are going to my parents holiday home on the east coast with them for the weekend. My dad loves steam trains and for his 60th birthday we got him a day driving the steam trains on the North Yorkshire Moors railway. So we are going to ride the train whilst he is driving it along with the rest of my family. The station he leaves from is the ones used as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies so he will get to drive the Hogwarts express (and I will get to ride it!) How cool is that!!

Goodnight everyone.

Hogwarts Express how cool is that.

Way cool..:cool1: Glad things worked out okay on the trip with the kids. Geoff leaves for Boy Scout Camp at 8 am and Eric leaves at 7:30.. so tomorrow shall be very peaceful..

Happy Father's Day to all... see ya later

DanaUK, WOW, The Hogwarts Express...Way Cool...

OK, It is now Midnight , so it is officially my first father's day. I am a little freaked out... I just spent the last hour assembling a new Jeep Stroller for my son. He has a very nice jogging stroller, and another that his car seat fits in, but this one has his own steering wheel, horn, and of course CD player. I asked at the store about a pump for the tires, they said it was included (not) and it also has a compartment where you can put a CD/MP3 player in over his head (and it has powered speakers) I will have to dig up an old walkman for him... I know he will like it, he loves going outside and being walked.....We had fun this afternoon when we gave Mommy some Mommy Alone time, He didn't want to go to the computer store, he wanted to go to the car dealership (BRU). How could I refuse him????? even Mommy understod what he was telling me. Oh well, Ian is asleep, Nephosaurus wants to borrow a Greateful Dead CD from DHB so he can have the first ride in the jeep...not gonna happen; Happy Music goes in, Ian gets the first ride.

Good Night All.....

:jumping2:

Good morning everyone.
Today promises to be another hot summers day. It is already roasting hot outside and this afternoon forcasts temperatures of 88 degrees! Most unusual for England. SO where will I be spending this lovely day? Of course it is Sunday so I will be spending it inside in the theatre. I have to be there at 12pm and won't leave until 6pm. Oh well, at least this evening should be nice as well.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

I hope all dads have a great day today!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but I've been busy! I got glasses the other day, for whenever my contacts go crazy on me. They're really cute, but I'm not used to wearing them, so I get kind of dizzy for the first 5 minutes or whatever. I'll update some more later, but I have to go and get my shower!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Hi Everyonne!

RRBB showed us where the pump was this morning for my... I Mean TagBabyIan's new Jeep.

ohanafamily scored big on the Fathers Day Gifts. We Osaurus's got him an HDTV Tivo for the bedroom so my Uncle can record shows unfit for the rest of the family. He also got a new drill, and a new Baby Album. TagBabyIan also tried to give him a shower while he was changing his diaper... Ooops, I am not supposed to say he actually changed a diaper, he says it is bad for his image.

Good Night everyone, and Chocolate Dreams.

Good morning, oh I hate eating healthy. Take me away chocolate island. I want it to be like that scene in the end of Chocolat when Alfred Molina goes to destroy the shop and instead goes nuts over the chocolate and eats, eats, eats.

Good morning - glad to hear that you had a good Father's Day ohanafamily.

I had good Father's Day too. I got so much done in the backyard that I was jumping for joy when the day was over. :Pinkbounc .

I hope you all have a good day today!!

slo

Hi everyone!

Yes, I had a good First Fathers Day. No, I did not get to lounge around all day doing nothing, but we got some pictures at BRU, and we had a pleasant dinner with my parents. I missed my Daddy trip with Ian that we take on Sunday Mornings. DW asked the Salesperson's advice on the cordless drill she bought me; I have a DeWalt that the batteries are dieing on. This new one is an off brand. I have never heard of. Before I open it, I want to go by the store and make sure I want to keep it. She also made me a beautiful album.

I ate too much and have a Dr. Appt Today. Even though it is just a checkup, I still have to get weighed.... YUK!

Oh well, must go and get ready.

Here is some plain oat-meal for breakfast... Think Healthy Thoughts...
OK, dump some Chocolate in for good measure.....

:jumping2:
PS, SLO, I thought you were a "Mother" not a "Father" :confused3

Hey everyone!

Great news! I just found out that we're PROBABLY!!!! going to WDW for the week before Christmas of this year. The BWV is booked, so we'll probably get a 2-bedroom at OKW. I'm really excited and I can't wait! The thing is, it will be all of our Christmas and b-day presents for this year, but oh well! We've been during the week between Christmas and New Years, so I know the crowds will be bad, but this will probably be our last family vacation before I graduate high school. Yeah, I'm really pumped!

Anyway, over the weekend we went and saw "Sahara" (great action movie! Matthew McCanaugh (sp???) was definitely hot) and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (I never thought I'd say this, but Brad Pitt is starting to look good...). I was the only one in my family that liked the second movie, but oh well!

I'm about to leave and go work out, so I hope everyone has a great day!

Great news, I might see you there as we will be there at the same time (we arrive on the 21st.)

Well one of my kids returned to school today after her trip to Orlando. She thanked me a lot for the advice I gave her about WDW and said that she loved it. She brought some of her pictures in too which were really funny (especially her Tower of Terror one.) Work today was OK, I had a meeting to sort out our new computer system that we need to order. I think it is going to turn into my next headache at school (after the school play which is due to be performed in 2 weeks and is nowehere near ready!! This is happening at the same time as the school is having an inspection.) Oh well, 5 more weeks and then 5 weeks off. I have a feeling I will be ready for the break this year!!

Oh well, I should go as I have housework to do.

Sounds really fun. We will be there around Halloween. Would have been nice to meet you. If OKW isn't available, try SS. We are staying there in October.
