Hey everyone!

Wow, I've been busy lately! School will be out in a week, though, but it definitely isn't winding down! Today I have a spanish test as well as a chemistry test, and tomorrow I have a world history test and two projects due!! I don't know what's with the teachers! Okay, enough exclamation points...

I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing well. Yay, Danauk, you'll have a better class next year! I'm sure you're very glad of that.

Ah, today is the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Yesterday at school there were some guys dressed up in those costumes and fighting with their light sabers. It was pretty funny! Are y'all planning on seeing it? I'm sure we are, I just don't know when!

I do that and the picture looks fine and the correct size until I hit submit. Then once the picture appears in the post it looks huge again. Any more suggestions? If I go to edit and re size it again it looks fine until I hit submit again and then it goes back to its huge size once more!!

Good morning, busy day yesterday but all is well. This am DH still has a job, TG. And I have my first daycare interview today. Big special olympics dance tonight for DS so we are off to see our track and field friends. What up for the weekend.

DHS Senior definately seeing Revenge of the Sith, my nephew saw it yesterday and said it was awesome!!!

Morning.. Eric had a orchestra concert last night, DH had trailer loading for the camp out this weekend, I had troop committee.. so no one was able to drive Geoff to the movies to see Star Wars..

This weekend, DH and Eric have troop camping and Geoff has a JAMBO shakedown #2, I get to drive him and 5 other scouts to the camping site at 5:30 am tomorrow..
so we will go see Star Wars on Sunday when they all get back..

TTFN have lots of scout and work things to do..

Hi all - we just got back from the Pediatricians office for BabyKate's "well baby check-up". She weighed in at 29.6lbs and I just can't believe it. The doctor said that she is the average weight of a 3yr old. She's a big girl!! She also got 2 shots today, which made her quite sad. But, she's having a little snack now which makes her feel alot better.

What's everyone doing this weekend? Tomorrow I am planting, planting, and more planting. Then Sunday I am going to do as much yard maintence as possible before the rain starts. If the rain beats me to it, then I'm cleaning house all day. Needless to say - I'm going to stay quite busy!!!

I'd better get going and finish giving BabyKate her snack because I have to get Stephanie ready for gymnastics. Talk to you all later!!

Good evening! Hope y'all had a great one! Well, tonight my friends and I went and saw "Robots," and wow! Was it dirty! It's supposed to be a kid movie, but it definitely had some gross things in it that little kids wouldn't get! We were the only ones laughing during the entire thing; I felt sorry for the people around us!

Today was also one of my club's end of the year party, and we had officer elections. Guess what? I got president! Go me! Lol!

Yesterday I had a rough day. I started out trying to configure some video equipment "In a manner which it is not designed to function" After about an hour I gave up and called the factory Support. Two hors later we had to dump everything we did and start over beause he didn't know that we needed to use an option for whate I wanted to do. I set it up "Close" to what I wanted, and called the camera installer backto re-engineer some cabling outside the box. I have not put RG59 connector on cables for about 15 years, so I didn't want to start now....OK, what is next?? well, there was this bad flicker on one of the monitors (on a different system). My boss says fix it now... What is bad? the calble connections are 15 years old (imagine that) but the person who did them (not me) made them a little loose, and they needed to be redone. I get my tool kit out, Pull the monitor, Make sure I have the connectors... OK, RG59 Plenum... Yup, I snip the wire and realize....It is RG59/U (it is a thicker wire and uses a diferent connector.) OK, It is now almost 4:00PM, I get in my car to drive to the connector store, Get there, verify it is the riht connector, and speed back to my office. I dutifullu make the connector...The cable slides out. GRRRR..I cut the other side (which IS Plenum)... Same problem... I must be doing something wrong... It is now 5:45pm, the supply house closes at 6:30. I remembered where the signal lights were out by the supply house, so I took an alternate route... I got there at 6:15 (it is a half hour away, and I got lucky on the second trip) I walked up to the guy who usually helps me, and explained my problem...Cost is not an issue. I need some wire, Show me what I am doing wrong.. Well, after an hour the expert came over and he couldn't figure it out. The he realized the sample witr we were using was for Compression connectors and not Crimp Connectors. He got a sample of the kind of wire that is in my office, and it still took another 20 minutes to get it right. Time: 7:45, I paid for the supplies we used, bought a new crimping tool, some more connectors, and I call home.. RRBB was quite cranky and had already eaten... Stop at McDonalds (this location had WIFY!?!) and headed home knowing that I have to go in at 7:00am... RRBB was not real happy with me..it was a little crankyness. I called a few times to let her know I would be late...) at any rate it is 6:30AM and I must get ready for work...

ohanafamily - I'm sorry you had such a bad day at work yesterday - hopefully today will be much better. From a "new mom's" standpoint, I can understand how b]RRBB[/b] was frustrated with you being late, even though you called. I have done this with my DH also, especially when he was on a fire call (remember he's a volunteer fireman). I would understand why he was late, but I would still be frustrated because I just wanted him to be home. I was never mad at him, I was mad at the situation. I hope this makes sense. Also.....who's Katrina?

DHSsenior007 - Congratulation on becoming President - how exciting!!! Your parents have to be so proud of you!!!! I'm glad you said something about The Robots movie. Now I know to watch it first, when it comes out on video, before letting Stephanie watch it.

Congrats Madame President!

Getting a late start this am as I have been watching movies. Its a cloudy Sat again so it was a nice way to start the day. Going bowling in an hour with kids and DS's new respite provider. Had a blast at the Special Olympics party last night. But boy I cannot dance!

Well today Pete was going to build our new bbq but it rained all day so the bricks are still in a pile. I spent some time costing up parking at the airport for our trip at Christmas. Boy is it expensive just to park your car at the airport for 2 weeks.

Oh well, I'm going to check the weather forcast to see if the bbq can get built tomorrow!

Tonight is the end of the year dinner and awards ceremony for another organization I'm in at Cheddar's. Since it's dutch treat, I'm definitely just getting an appetizer. I think I'll get the Spinach Artichoke dip... yum!

Slo, I hope Kate is okay! And no problem about the "Robots" review, that sounds like a goo idea! I don't know if some kids would pick up on the stuff. I mean, we are teenagers, so our minds are already in the gutter...

Wow, another quiet weekend in the Vault! Today we had another rehearsal at the theatre. Our show goes on in 2 1/2 weeks and we are so not ready. We have not even run the whole show yet, many people do not know the dances (the chorus have had only a few rehearsals and even then the choreographer keeps changing things!). Also some of the principles still do not know their lines! Oh well, I am sure we will pull it together at the last minute, we usually do!

I am going to be home alone for a few days. Pete has to go on a course for school up north. However the course is near where my family live so he is getting lodgings there until Wednesday. My parents are on holiday in Canada (as they remind me every day by sending me picture messages from my mums cell phone to mine, something I intend to do at Christmas.) However my auntie and uncle live in the same street as my parents so Pete is going to stay with them.

Oh well I guess I should go and get ready for school tomorrow. We are going on a field trip and I need to find my wellington boots (we are doing a stream study.)

We're about to leave to go see Star Wars!! Woohoo! At first, it was just going to be my family, but then some lady at church asked me what I was doing this evening, and I told her. She then got the idea that we can make it a huge youth group thing, so now I think about 20 people are going! My best friend is supposed to be here any minute so we can drive her, too. I hope it isn't sold out for the people who didn't already get their tickets!

I had a boys night out last night with my nephew and saw the new Star wars... Lots of action, Lots of fighting, A great show for guys... The Love story was played down a bit All in all, a great movie for me.....
