OK, I have to admit this... I bought myself a new camera. I was at a function and they made us such a pretty cake... I had to show off that the camera HAS A SETTING TO TAKE PICTURES OF FOOD!!!!!!

They must have seen some of my previous posts...

If I think about it, I will download a picture of this cake tomorrow...

Morning guys, do me a favor, send some positive thoughts to DH as he may or may not go out on strike tonight and has finally resolved to try and find a new job. He's really nervous and his plans for school will have to be put on hold for the moment. I tell him not to give up his dreams just delay for a month or two. Thanks.

It is a Pentax Optio. It is water resistant (you can snorkle with it) It is really small (Not tiny,but small enough for a pocket) and one of the preset modes is for taking pictures of food. I will post some pictures later (Time permitting) Work will be real busy today...

Hi everybody! I'm into my last week of sick-leave and feeling pretty good. Have a much needed visit with the chiropractor tomorrow....as my hip and back are still giving me trouble. My big sister is here this week....getting me into shape for returning to work (no naps!).

Danauk - I'm glad you had good news about next years class, that's a good way to end the school year and to start the summer on a good note!! Also, you asked what you could help plant - I have several flats of flowers that needs planting - would you like to do that, or plant all the hostas I bought???

First of all, you are already pisting pictures; see the smilies? they are Pictures.

OK, See this picture

above the text area??? This will give you a popup window where you can put the address of the picture in. Where do you get the address??? By right-clicking on a picture and viewing its properties. You can then highlight the address Ctrl-c (copy) then ctrl-v (paste) t into the dialog box. You can only use this trick on pictures you have on the internet, not locally. To save a picture on the web you need to upload it first to a place like (Ssshh) Imagestation.com.

I realize that this is a trifle confusing, but it is past my bed-time and this should give you a start....

But DH is feeling like he's just got to try and get another job. So I'm trying to be positive. What a time to wean off my "happy pills"!

I don't know what kind of "happy pills" you are trying to wean yourself off of, but I will share some of my happy pills with you which are a big pile of M&M's. These always make me feel better!!!

Morning all! I have a few minutes to DIS before I hit the shower...then it's off to the chiro to get put into 'alignment'. Big sis and I are heading out to a new housing community that has 33 (yes, thirty-three) model homes to look at. I don't think will make it all the way through, do you? I guess I'd better wear my marathon shoes!

Hi guys,

I just wrote a long post and then lost it!! Oh well. I guess I will summarise now!

My 11 year olds (girls and boys) had 'the talk' with the nurse today at school and tomorrow we have to watch the video that goes with the talk. All I can say is these 11 year olds know a lot more than I did at their age!!

ohanafamily I have posted pictures in the past using the picture icon but they seem to copy too big. Do you know how I can resize them?

ibouncetoo I hope you had fun looking around the houses. I love looking around new houses. They are finally building the new houses next to my school now. I think I will go and have a look at them when they are built.

Oh well it is getting late and desperate housewives will be on in a minute so I should be going.
