Oh well, at work now...

:jumping2:

Good morning all and Happy Saturday :wave2: - I haven't been Dising for a few days because I've been busy lately. I just took BabyKate to the doctor yesterday because she has an ear infection - My baby sick???? NO WAY!!! ;) Anyway......she has tubes in her ears, so the infection drained out, which is a very good thing. So she's on an antibiotic and ear drops for the next 10 days. Thank God she's very good at taking mediciane, so this is not a big deal.

DH is out of town again this weekend. He goes to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway every weekend in the month of May and then goes to the race. This is his most favorite month of the year. So...it's just me and the girls. princess: princess:

TagBabyIan - I just love your photos - especially the one of you in the pot. Tell your mom and dad to post where they got that done - very cute!!!

Well, I'm going to go and feed my girls some breakfast - Eggo Waffles are on the menu for this morning. I hope everything is well with everyone and I will have to review all the past posts later to catch up on what's new with everyone.

Talk to you all later!!

slo

slo, he was at BabiesRUs, they have a Kiddie Kandids there... No Sitting Fee... Part of the "Five Month Birthday" collection...

:jumping2:

Good morning everyone.

Cute pictures TagBabyIan what were you cooking?

slo I'm so sorry baby Kate is poorly again. Do you have any fun plans for the girls this weekend as you DH is away?
Today I have to be at the theatre in 4 hours time for another rehearsal. Our show opens in 3 1/2 weeks and we are really not ready. People do not know their lines, we have not run the show yet so people do not know the order of things. I am so glad I do not have a main part. I am not enjoying this show as much as usual but never mind.

Oh well I guess I should be getting on with the house work before I head out to the theatre, the clothes are not going to wash themselves!!

I lovely, lazy Sunday morning, I'm just eating breakfast now (which is really late for me) read the paper, watched the end of a movie. Heaven!

Mornin'

The car wash yesterday was canceled at 6 in the morning when it was raining, but then it cleared up, so it was kinda a waste. But my friends and I went and saw "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" which was really funny. I enjoyed it.

Today is my drill team banquet thingy, so it should be interesting! The theme is 50's, but I'm not wearing a poodle skirt!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good morning everyone. It's really quiet in the house this morning. ohanafamily and TagBabyIan just left me. They're picking up breakfast and going over to ohanafamily's parent's house for a while. MIL didn't get her baby fix yesterday and I need a little time to myself - originally it was to get some extra sleep, but I'm up now so I'll go up to my scrapping room instead.

I forget, what play are y'all doing this time Danauk? I'm sure y'all will get it all together by opening night.

Sorry to hear BabyKate is under the weather slo. PD to her (and you.)

So what's for breakfast s&ksmom? Got enough to share with the rest of us?

Have fun at your banquet tonight DHSsenior007. You know there's a DFW area DIS meet next weekend? Maybe you and your parents can come in for it?

Well, I'm off to take advantage of my "alone" time now...

Good morning everyone !! I kept quite busy yesterday - I started the dreaded cleanup of our new backyard. I can't believe that the past owners of this house neglected this yard as much as they did. I did quite a bit yesterday and it still looks like I didn't touch anything - UNBELIEVABLE!!! I went to Home Depot and bought some landscaping blocks, hostas, daylillies and dirt yesterday - I love working in the yard, but the work in this yard is pretty overwhelming. Hey Danauk, how about you ditch rehearsal and come over to my house and give me a hand, I could use your landscaping expertise!!! :flower:

ohanafamily - we don't have any photo studios in the BabiesRUs by me. I wish we did because I would have used them - it's always good to go somewhere where the photographers are really good with babies, because we all know that babies can be very difficult at times to take a photo of ;) . Again...very cute, please keep posting pictures - it's fun to watch him grow. :)

Danauk - BabyKate is doing okay - out of everything she has had wrong with her in her little life, this is the easiest for her and me. The frustrating about it is, as soon as you think she is on a well streak, which is usually approx. 2 weeks, she gets sick again. All I can say is thank God for insurance and thank God I have a wonderful Pediatrician!!!! To answer your question about this weekend, I got a cheese pizza from Pizza Hut (the girls favorite) and then after BabyKate went to bed, Stephanie and I watched The Incredibles until 11:15pm at night. I never stay up that late with DH, I told Stephanie that she is a bad influence on me :rotfl: . Sorry to hear that your not having very much fun with the play - I'm sorry if you already said, but what play are you in? Also....is this a play through your school or through a local playhouse? Remember, if you don't want to go, you can come to my house anytime and work outside with me :sunny: - to bad you live an ocean away.

s&k'smom - I really love lazy weekend mornings too. In fact, I get up a 1/2 hour earlier than BabyKate just so I can drink my coffee without any interuptions. Stephanie sleeps in pretty late now that she is older - BabyKate still gets up pretty early. So....what movie did you watch the end of - anything you would recommend? Oh......congrats :cheer2: on getting your child care license - are you planning on opening a daycare, watching children from your home, or neither?

DHSsenior007 - sorry your carwash got rained out yesterday :umbrella: - it's always a bummer when your looking forward to something and then the rain comes. Have fun at your banquet - those are always a lot of fun!!

Well, I'd better get going and put my French Toast Sticks in the oven, BabyKate is waiting patiently for her breakfast. Sleepy Stephanie is still upstairs in my bed sleeping - I have a king size bed and she really loves to sleep in it when DH is away. I have a lot of work ahead of me today, so I better be on my way. Talk to you all later - I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!

slo

Hey RRBB :wave2: , we posted at the same time. It's good to see you and thanks for PD for BabyKate. She is doing much better today and the antibiotic she's on is a pretty strong on - so she'll be alot better really soon! :)

Enjoy your quite time - we mom's need that sometimes!!! ::yes::

Hey slo the movie I watched was A Soldier's Girl, a true story about a solder having a relationship with a man who is now a woman and how he was murdered. It's based on a true story. It's not a movie for everyone but I'm a nut for true story movies. It's gay week here at my house, the next movie I just started was the Laramie Project about Matthew Shephard. Two weeks ago it was Native American week. I think next week is Nicholas Cage.

I plan to only take one child for daycare, preferably one with special needs as the typical kids are way to boring for me. I mean my two are high maintenance so I might as well add more chaos to my life.

Sorry RRBB had a very boring breakfast, healthy cereal, boiled eggs, water, coffee. Now I'm having yogurt. Gearing up for my sister's cookout and what I like to refer to as a pigout!!!

I really love taking Ian to the Kiddie Kandids at BRU, though we had to go twice this time around. We waited over an hour and a half on Thursday but they still weren't ready for us and Ian was getting fussy/tired/hungry. So we went back early Friday - he fell asleep in the car on the way so as soon as he woke up they got him in.

The BRU that's closest to us is the only one in the Metroplex that does NOT have a K.K. in it so we have to drive to one that's a little further away. I don't mind because they do such a great job. Ian started getting fussy while they were setting up for the soup pot photo, but the photographer managed to get a small smile out of him. And believe it or not, his biggest grin came in the last photo taken. I don't know how she managed it, but here it is...

Okay, time's a wastin' so I'm off to eat and scrap now...

What a great, great picture - suitable for framing!! (remember I'm a picture framer). To bad we are far apart - I'd take that photo to work and frame it for you.

I wish I knew how to post photos, I would love for you all to see my girls.

Have fun scrap-booking!!

slo

Well I'm back from rehearsal which thankfully for my part went OK. Others however got shouted at a lot by the director (I only escaped as I have a small part!) The show this time is Me and My Girl, a musical set in England where a cockney man inherits a posh house and estate and has to learn to fit in with his new family. It has songs such as The sun has got his hat on and Lambeth walk in it. We are doing the show at the theatre I help out at in my spare time.

slo I would love to help you with your garden work. Our current garden project (well this one is Pete's project) and we are building a stone BBQ. Today he laid the base which needs a few days to dry before we build the rest of it. It should look nice as it is in the same stone as the water fall. So what gardening do you want me to do?

Oh well, I should go as dinner is ready.

Have a great evening all.

RRBB those pictures of Ian are so sweet, keep them coming.

RRBB, After I saw those pics of Ian, all I could say was "awwww!!" He is the cutest baby ever! Well, he's tied with the baby girl I baby sit sometimes, but she gets points deducted because I have to smell her poopy diapers! ;)

Thanks for the comments about the banquet. It was a bunch of fun and I'm glad I went. Afterwards, my mom and I went shopping, and I got two pairs of shoes (some flip-flops and then some really cute heels) for $14! I was happy.

Now I have to work on some homework that I've put off all weekend, so I'll talk to y'all later! Have a great evening.

Danauk, question... doe rge song go

The Sun Has Got His Hat on,
Hip Hip Hip Hooray,
The syn has got his hat on and is coming out to play...
My friend Philip (From Sandwich) likes to sing that song in the morning... But I am never sure if the sun has his hat on or off... I do get confused.....

slo, we have some artwork that is beautifully framed. I have some that the frames are a lot more expensive than the artwork... (which reminds me, I must get it all photographed for my insurance.....)

DHSsenior007, sorry the car wash was cancelled, I could use a good one.....when are you rescheduling it? I read all of Adms' Hitchiker books in College, I'll wait for the movie to hit HBO...42...

s&ksmom, sounds like a strange movie...

Good evening everyone...

:jumping2:

Good morning, saw my sisiter's new house last night and it's wonderful. Nothing like having your own backyard. Have my daughter's school meeting today so I'll see what next year's school year will shape up to be. Thats all the excitement on a Monday morning.

Good morning - I woke up this morning and could barely move. I am embarrassingly so out of shape!!! I was outside all day yesterday and I picked more weeds yesterday than I have picked in my entire life. There are some weeds in this yard that are as big as bushes - these I have to cut down because you can't pull these out. It's amazing that after all the work I did, you still can't tell that I did anything yesterday. My DH tells me that I have all summer, which is true, but I want it done before we open the pool up. The last thing I want, is to be floating in the pool and seeing all this work that needs to be done.

Well, I just finished my coffee and now I have to jump in the shower and get ready for work. I have to get going a little earlier today because I moved all my flowers in the garage last night because I was afraid that we would have some frost. They are under my car, so I have to move them before I leave this morning.

I hope everyone has a good Monday and I'll talk to you all later.

slo

Good Morning all... I am sore too. I mounted a book case to the wall yesterday. It isn't the best job, but I ain't coming out of the wall... Rhat being said, I think I will do something to make it prettier tomorrow night. Tonight my brothers and I are taking my dad out for his b-day..

I Brought Mickey Waffles for breakfast today...

:jumping2:

Thanks for the Mickey waffles, I'll have some for a snack.

I have never really thought about the actual lyrics to the sun has got his hat on. I'm not sure who is wearing what hat!!

Well we sorted out our classes for next year today. I am happy with my class. Although I have the exam class again the naughty children have been removed into another class so I have some really nice kids next year. A lot of them will not be the brightest class I have ever taught and it will be a challenge to get them to national levels based on their tests this year, but I will do my best. All I know right now is that it will be a lot easier than this year. Plus I get to keep my really nice year 5's that I teach right now and I have a single year group class which makes planning a lot easier. Oh well, only 10 more weeks until we break up!

I had to laugh at work today. We were having some ICT training after school which was held in my room. So the trainer used my laptop as it was still connected to the whiteboard from my days lessons. Well my background is a picture I took at WDW on my last trip (sunset in Epcot, looking over the lake to the ball.) So the trainer commented on that (actually he said "Ooh is that the real Disneyland". I had to point out it was WDW!! (force of habbit!!) Then my screensaver came on which is WDW and DLP photos so he commented that he liked that too.

Oh well I should go as dinner is ready.

Have a great evening everyone.
