Hey ! We still have a Science exam tomorrow, but it should be pretty easy. We had a huge Social Studies one, 10 pages front and back with an essay.

For summer, we're going to WDW from the 9th of June to the 17th. We also are going to the Outer Banks from the 10th of July to the 17th. I can't wait! We only have 3 1/2 days left!!!

Hey all, I have a story to tell...


Yesterday RRBB saw a couple of grey tails poking out of a bush in our back yard......"CALL THE EXTERMINATOR RIGHT NOW!!!!!" was the next words out of her mouth. I think she must have repeated it on automatic several times, for it took me a few minutes to get to the phone at work....OK, they came today at 2:00pm. Well, we had a rat problem several years ago, and there are several bait stations in the yard. None of them had been touched. Besides, the kittens wouldn't allow any rats back there (mind you I am allergic to cats)... It seems that one of our neighbors cats left a litter in our back yard (unbeknownst to us...) I think the gardener chased them all out with his lawn mower (they mowed today after the exterminter left, and they leave the gate open when they mow) but if they are still around... anybody want a wild kitten!?!

Well, my last day of school yesterday wasn't too good. We sat around and did nothing during school (from 8 to 12:40; I left early again!), and ya know how I was supposed to go on that double date? Nope, didn't happen. I never found out what time we were going, even though I called my friend who was setting it all up several times to no avail. Then during dinner I chipped my tooth on my fork and it REALLY hurt... But then my parents felt sorry for me, so they took me to get a Black Forest Sundae (YUMMY!) and then I got to rent a movie, of my choice! I chose "In Good Company," and it didn't have a good ending, at least one I didn't like.

Anyway, I'm leaving this morning for New Orleans, so I'll see everyone Monday night! Have a great weekend everyone!

DHSsenior007 sorry you didn't get to go on your date. Perhaps it can be rearranged after you get back from New Orleans. So summer is here for you guys already (I am so jealous). When do you go back to school?

ohanafamily I didn't know you were allergic to cats. We had a mouse wonder into our house a while ago. We have a big field next to our house and the back door had been left open. I guess it just wondered in. Pete caught it and took it back to the field. We haven't had a problem since though (well not in the house anyway.) However it seems our pet bunnies have a pet of their own. A mouse has moven in with them! He seems to live in the burrows and comes up on an evening and takes food from their bowls!! I have decided to call him Mickey!!

Live here seems to be OK at the moment. We have a week off school next week (then another 7 weeks before we break up for the summer.) Yesterday was beautiful. It was nearly 80 degrees outside and the evening was lovely. Our friends came over and we had a BBQ (we used the new brick BBQ Pete had just finished building) We were able to sit outside on the garden furniture all evening as it was so nice.
I don't have too many plans today. I think I will go to the garden centre this afternoon to get some summer flowers for my baskets and pots at the front of the house. Although it is warm today it is really windy. We were going to have another BBQ for dinner but am not sure now with the wind.

Oh well I should go as it is lunch time

Danauk, yes, I am allergic to cats... Horses too, but that isn't so bad. I am glad you have some time to relax, you deserve it!!!!!

I have a Bunny Admission; My nephew used to have a bunny that I would keep for them while they went on holiday (vacation). His Grandmother (on the other side) was allergic to the rabbit (and a bit of a loon (crazy). I had standing instructions that yje bunny led a charmed life. If anything were to happen to him, he was to be "reincarnated" and I was to insist it was the same bunny. Marmalade (that was his name) lived in a cage and liked Scooby Doo! He did not have the custom home that your bunnies have....

Good evening all - how was everyone's Saturday? Mine was okay - I cleaned house alot today (it's been neglected for quite some time since I've been outside so much) and then we went out to eat with my whole family and then went back to my mom's for dessert.

It's 9:30pm and DH is in bed already because he gets up at 3am tomorrow for the Indianapolis 500. It takes approx. 2 hours to get to Indy and the guys don't consider it a good race day if they don't have the car parked and the first beer cracked open by 6am. Tomorrow is his favorite day of the year!

What's on everyone's agenda for tomorrow? The girls and I are going to be outside all day - I still have so much work to do.

ohanafamily - I can't stop thinking about you having a rat problem. If I were RRBB I would have yelled for you to call the exterminator the minute I saw that tail too. Here I thought the mouse I had in my house was bad!! I hope the rats never come back!!

Danauk - I'm glad to hear that Pete was successful in building your BBQ. I just love spending time outside. My DH is almost done with our new deck and I can hardly wait to sit outside again.

DHSsenior007 - I'm sorry your last day of school was a drag. Hopefully your time in New Orleans will be alot better.
