I was watching Lisa Rinna on tv (don't remember on what) and she said to make her lips soft she uses a soft tooth brush to brush vasaline on her lips to get rid of dry skin. I thought it was really weird but I tried it with carmex and it works great! my lips are softer than they've ever been

so what are your weird tips that work

not wierd realy-but an old theatre trick: never wash you face with warm or hot water immediatly prior to applying make-up. if you do your pores will be more open and likely to absorb the make-up. if you pat your face with cold water first-the pores are more tightly closed so the make up (1) lasts longer, (2) is easier to remove, (3) less likely to cause blemishes and blackheads.

So many people were doing this that they made the hemorrhoid people change the formula. So, the American versions don't really work well on that anymore. I *think* you can still buy the old formula in Canada, though.

I thought it was me! I used to do this about 10 years ago and it worked so I thought I would try it again about 3 months ago and ...nothing! Why would the PrepH people change the formula? A sale is a sale to them. Wait...maybe they don't know which end is up..

It works, my hair would feel great, but I do not enjoy freezing cold water as the last part of my showers.

My neighbor use to give her hair mayonnaise treatments to give it shine too.

Bag Balm, meant for the udders of cows and goats works great for softening hands and feet.

My girlfriend takes fish oil gel tabs and swears her hair is shinny, skin is glowing, and she no longer has rough heels.

Visine will take the red out of a pimple.

If you have product buildup in your hair due to gels, hair wax, hairspray, etc. and it doesn't feel clean, use Head & Shoulders. It'll take out all the buildup w/o stripping your hair.

Last time I went to GNC to buy vitamins they told me about using the fish oil pills for my skin since i'm prone to break outs, I might have to go back and buys some if they do all that

If you get a bad dye job, wash your hair with Prell immediately and repeatedly, it will help strip your color out.

I can't believe I'm telling everyone, but I use potty protectors (toliet seat covers) as blotting paper. Works great and it doesn't cost me a thing.
