Here's my wedding newsletter! The final look is a booklet (8.5x11, folded in 1/2, double sided, stapled)

Wow that is an impressive newsletter. I am starting to work on mine because I have so many people asking questions!!

Great job on the newsletter! It's so weird seeing my name (well, I suppose our name :rotfl: ) and a wedding date one day and a year after our's!

Wow, you did a great job. We provided information on booking flights and discounts, etc. too in our initil packet and everyone seemed to find it really helpful. I love how you gave details about all the holiday happenings and even gave recommendations for the different resort types. I can't wait to see more :thumbsup2

your newsletter is very impressive. I love everything about it. I love all of the disney pictures and the font. Great job!!

We are getting married three days after you and will be at the AKL too! (The GF after our wedding but the AKL until then.) :goodvibes

What program did you use to create your newsletter? I love it!

Thanks everyone!

I kept putting people's questions off saying, "It will be in the newsletter"... blah blah blah. I wanted to wait until Southwest released their flights for the rest of the year, but couldn't wait. (Southwest is supposed to release their flights 6/26). So, I anticipate the questions to start rolling in anyday now, but I feel like an expert from obsessively reading the Boards!

I used InDesign, mostly because I wanted to play around with the program and thought this would be a good outlet for it. It's a fairly simple layout that could probably be done in Word no problem.

Most of the folks we invited have never been to the World (all from California), so I wanted it be as informational as possible. The Guidebook mentioned is the Unofficial Guidebook, which is like my Bible now (I also use PassPorter), and I kept sending off requests for the Vacation Planning DVDs from Disney. We are really only sending out 10 "packages" so it wasn't too costly.

Consequently, you can burn and copy the Vacation Planning DVDs from Disney, which would be a great addition to anyone's newsletter, invite, whatever.

I appreciate all the Kudos

I have been playing around with my info packs etc. Which font did you use for all of the headings? It's exactly what I was looking for and haven't been able to figure out the name of it. Thanks!
