I am in the process of packing for next weeks cruise ( finally!!). For those of you that just got off the Eastern route how was the weather? Specifically on the sea days? We were on this cruise 2 years ago and all I remember is that is was super windy and chilly up on the top decks. I wasn't sure if we just hit a cold spell or if it is pretty regular this time of year. I just hate to overpack things we probably don't need :)
Thanks for any tips!!

We got off the Eastern yesterday :guilty:
Had a great time though!

The first full day at sea was very windy and in my mind chilly. I was told later the wind was pretty extreme. I did wear capri pants and a lightweight sweatshirt while on deck, particularly when in the shade. I had goosebumps sometimes, and just couldn't get over the people in bathing suits! It did warm up and the wind died down though. The days in St Martin and St Thomas were low 80's with a hot sun. Lots of sunblock, swim shirts for the kids! (my daughter forgot her swim shirt in St. Martin and paid for it.) There were 3-4 quick rainstorms in St Thomas though we lucked out and never were caught in it.

If I were to pack again, I would bring 3-4 lightweight long sleeve shirts to help with the baking sun and the wind when it was windy. I also brought some capri length leggings to wear under dresses, and appreciated the extra layer on cooler days.

Have fun!
