Weather In London.....?

HELLO UKer's....

I am coming to London for Christmas week...just wondering what the weather forecast is over there for that week...or at least how is it shaping up to be...

I am in Boston and we are having unseasonable weather...60 degrees today. ........

We are having it quite mild at the moment but quite wet. We will be in London for the New Year, it always seems to rain when we go! Best to check a local forecast for London a few days before you go. Too early to say yet really.

But to turn your thread around...............we are flying into Boston on 9th Feb, to ski in Stowe, VT
Where's all the snow? we're getting worried!!!! Are they predicting a poor season????

I was born and raised in London, so it's a city close to my heart, have a fantastic stay, and even if it rains you'll have a great time!

OOOO...no worries, FEB is a long way off. Good thing you did select FEB though as if you were coming NOW...ahhh no good!!!

BUT by FEB we will have had our fill of snow and if not well then the SKI LODGES will MAKE THE SNOW FOR SURE!!!

btw...I could care less about the rain...rain is fine...I just do not want any blizzards when I am arriving or departing...

As far as London is concerned we are all getting excited as can possibly be!!!

Many websites / weather stations are saying different things. Hoping it will warm up though

Today London is chilly...although my colleagues have been using words like 'frickin cold' and 'freezing' too. But its dry so that's good!

It's definitely cold but the sun is out which is great.

Last night the fog in Surrey was so thick I couldn't see 2 feet ahead of me, literally! Couldn't see the platform at the train station, it was a cross between being in a Sherlock Holmes tv special and a bad rock and roll 80's video!

YEAHHH...chilly is fine, no problem with chilly, but FOG , no, how can I see London if it is foggy.

Looks like the fog is going to stick around for most of this week up until Sunday at least

The fog also seems to affecting flights in and out of Heathrow and Gatwick!
