I know it rains every afternoon briefly in florida, I expect that. But when I just looked up the weather for orlando for the next week, it shows, cloudy, rain, t-storms. Is it rainy/stormy now? How is the hurricane affecting Orlando? We leave tuesday morning.

the hurricane isn't affecting our weather here in FL. Maybe just a bit more cloudy but it isn't causing any rains or anything...it is headed in to oppiste direction of us...it is going towards Texas... trust me ... I am right on the Gulf of Mexico side of FL....my house is about 6 ft above sea-level..... I watch every hurricane!!! You are safe.... don't worry & have a great time...

The rain and thunderstorms are not produced by the hurricane. These storms you have to worry about is the normal Florida "pop up" afternoon storms. They are usually only scattered but be prepared. Have fun!!
