I've been following Weather.com for quite a while for our upcoming trip, and it says it is going to rain all of the days we are there. I sure am bummed, but here is my question:

I've never been this time of year before - is it the rainy season?

When it says 60% chance of rain (our pool day on Thursday!), does that mean continuous rain all day, or showers for a period of time like in the summer?

Thanks, experts. I know we will still have fun, but it is a bummer to be packing rain ponchos!!

Thanks for posting :) I've been wondering the same thing. I was just checking in on the forecast last night and was surprised to see rain on the forecast, eek! Oh well, Disney is Disney even in rain. Though the weather has been so bad here I was hoping for some sun as well :)

We just return from a 2/4/04 thru 2/8/04 trip. I had been following the weather reports prior to my trip. They varied some each day but the common denominator was rain and/or T storms with comfortable temps. Our first 3 days were very pleasent upper 60's lower 70's sunshiny days. The 4th day had an ever so slight mist in the morning and an overcast day with comfortable temps and a cool evening. The 5th day downright chilly, windy but sunshine. It was not anything near the weather report. So don't let the weather reports get you bummed. It could be a pleasent trip, just be prepared for a little of everything.

A couple of the days of our trip (12/22/03-12/26/03), the weather forecast called for rain, but we didn't worry about it, just went with the flow. It sprinkled about 3 drops on one day, and that was IT!

Florida weather changes so much, you just never know. :sunny:
