We have our tickets already but was wondering what we do now. We have 8:10 ADR at the Royal Table but I am sure we can't just go in with these tickets. Don't we have to be fingerprinted and the tickets get converted into a card. My question is when do we do this and when should we do this since we want to go immediately into MK from the Royal Table.

Okay, so you have your vouchers??? When you arrive at the MK, head over to the right side after you go through the security bag check. At Guest Services they will trade your vouchers into your tickets. Then you will go through the turnstiles with your passes and head to the castle. No problem.

They do not fingerprint you. You will put your fingers into the scanner the first time you go through the turnstile (and everytime after). There is also a CM there to direct traffic, so to speak. That CM will let you know exactly where you need to go.

What do the tickets look like? Except for annual passes purchased in advance, tickets that are the same size as credit cards or ATM cards and with a Disney picture (such as Mickey Mouse) on the front and a magnetic stripe on the back are ready to use in the turnstiles, no visit to Guest Relations needed.

Those are the tickets we have, except how do they fingerprint scan you then? Do we have to go somewhere for that first. We have 10 day tickets and only plan on using 3 days so these tickets will be around for a few years.

If you re-check Mickey Flier's response you will see you do NOT get fingerprinted. Nobody does.
When you first use your Disney park tickets to enter a Disney park, you make a "V" with your index and middle fingers and insert them into a biometric scanner. This machine reads and records the measurement of your fingers and combines it with your ticket and stores this information in the entrance computers.
No fingerprints. Uh uh. Never.

Don't be too sure, little lady.

When me a da boys was casin' da joint, we was thinkin' da same thing.
No prints, no evidence, git me?

Well, we decided to pick up a few souvenirs o' the place, ya know?

So we came back late, REAL late, after dark, ya know, maybe 1:30AM.
Figured nobody would be hangin' around Mickey's place by then.

We was just starting to pick up a few things when, BAM, we was surrounded.
(Made such a fuss over folks pickin' up a few PLANTS... even if some of 'em DID look like Dumbo, and some short guys with their tall girlfriend... sheesh!)

Well, they took our fingerprints THEN, I'll tell ya.
Every single finger!

For a place run by a MOUSE, they can get kinda TESTY!

Sorry, I did read it, I meant scanned, not fingerprinted. So I guess I am really trying to figure out if we can go directly to the Royal Table at 8:10 and then directly into the parks without having to do anything with these tickets ahead of time. So sorry to be so thick but this machine that reads your ticket where is that and do we do that before our breakfast? Should we leave earlier or does this take up no additional time? thanks!

In order to get to Cinderella's Royal Table for your breakfast at 8:10, you will have to enter the Magic Kingdom first. At the entrance plaza there are a series of booths. You can't miss them, as you need to go through them to gain entrance to the park. Each booth is manned by a Cast Member. It is here that you insert 1st your ticket into the machine, followed by your fingers placed in the biometric reader. Once your fingers are scanned correctly the computer will store that information on the card and the card will be ejected from the machine for you to pick up and you then go through the turnstiles. It takes less than a minute, usually.
I would leave a few extra minutes if this is the first time you will use the tickets just in case there are any glitches.
After you finish your breakfast you are already in the Magic Kingdom and can just experience all the rides and attractions without doing anything else special.
HTH

And just as a reminder, now that you're fingers have been scanned/measured/whatever you want to call it, you are linked to that ticket so each person will need to make sure they have the correct ticket when entering the parks. Otherwise, the next time that ticket is used the scan won't match and it will spit the ticket out.
For example, you use Ticket A and hubby uses Ticket B. You both get scanned accordingly. Next day you use Ticket B and hubby Ticket A. When you insert your ticket and your fingers the scans will not match.
Just one more thing to confuse you ... sorry.
