We Did It!!!

My family of 4 just returned home from a 12 day trip to Disney at the Wilderness Lodge, and on our last full day this past Tuesday, we went to SSR, to hear the pitch for the DVC.

Well we are now the proud owners of 300 pts at SSR!!!

You have no idea how excited we are, or you probably do.

It's a win, win as far as we are concerned.

I'll be posting here periodically to get you DVC vets opinions on certain aspects of the DVC, but right now we are all excited to be part of the family!

Ron, congratulations on your purchase at SSR! I have to be nosy and ask the reason you did not purchase at VWL after spending almost 2 weeks at Wilderness!! Regardless, you've come to the right spot to have any and all questions answered!

RuthnPaul, we received an invitation in our room, at the WL, to tour the DVC. When we asked about it they sent a van to pick us up and it took us to SSR.

Because we were buying into Phase II which isn't completed yet, outside of the down payment, we don't make our first payment until May, plus they took $3,000 off of the base price.

Since we'll have 7 months in advance to book VWL, the gentleman we dealt with said that we should have no problems getting to stay there, since we really don't go at peak times.

SSR is very nice and we are happy with it.

I will definitely be here in the future posting ?'s that I know you nice people will help me out with.

BTW RNP, the VWL are absolutely beautiful.
