I laughed when I read your post on your PTR....too bad we don't live closer, we could calm each other

for booking all your appointments! I just made a manicure appt for tomorrow afternoon because my nails are a little on the long side and I don't want them to break before vacation

Sorry your dad isn't going...but he needs to do what is best for him. I'm sure he'll be fine with all of your friends checking on him. He sounds a lot like my dad.

Ahhhh the Disney panic mode. That is the normal way to be before a trip! You are doing just fine. And your dad is precious, I wish we could all meet one day! My kids don't have a grandpa, but we had a very special neighbor that we adored for 7 years before he passed and I swear we still talk about him almost every day, and he passed January of 2010. He was the best 'grandpa' ever. Jas you are lucky!! And Queen you have a great dad, your whole family sounds like a great, close bunch. Lucky lucky!!

Wow 13 nights! That is going to be a great TR. Take a zillion pictures so we can live through the trip with you!!

We need to hook up on facebook. And yes I agree Disney charges an arm and a leg for internet!! I can't figure that one out. You can go just about anywhere and get free wi-fi except Disney!!

He loves to putter as he puts it so he's going to try and go through some things that need tending to and I think he will have no problem keeping himself busy. He's 75 but you would never know it to look at him...he got his black belt in Taekwondo when he was 69...he really is an amazing man

I have found in the course of my life that people don't need to be a blood relative to be family...sounds like you were all blessed by a very special man! Jasmine loves her grandpa more than anything..the connection they have is something you don't see often. I don't know many 18 year olds that would spend their days off with their grandparents, but that's what Jasmine did and the night before last her and her grandpa went out for dinner (after he came to the house to deal with the spider that ran into her purse)

I think we are going to take our laptop with us so we will probably be able to check in on facebook....Jasmine just can't use her blackberry to do it...our provider charges an arm and a leg for that

I have that drink on my index card for our first day at Epcot! I will get Jasmine to take a picture of me drinking it

I am going to take your advice because I know you are absolutely right! I can't believe it either....it kinda snuck up on us, but I know we'll get everything done! I am taking Jasmine to work at 10am, then I'll come home and work on my last minute lists etc and I know I'll feel so much better once that's done!!

One of Peg's friends offered to take her girl's for a day so she can get quite a chunk of stuff from her lists done! I told her to take her up on her offer!

I am really looking to finishing up the majority of everything next weekend then putting it all together throughout the week. I work right across the road from our downtown mall so if I have forgotten anything last minute I can always run across on my lunch

Definitely in my new shirt! Couldn't have your drink without having it in your shirt I cannot even begin to imagine why you would use that one so often

PANIC!! I'm already panicking and I've got six weeks, so I completely understand! We shopped some today because I went into a panic that no stores would be carrying summer clothes for long and we needed some shorts and tank tops...except we got there and all the stores were still full of them. Oh, well!

I wasn't on here last week (Julia starting school kept me busy) and didn't read about your mom's passing until today. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Jas, Peg, your dad, and all the people your wonderful mother touched. Your dad sounds so much like my dad, who is 80 and still a wild man! He cracks me up! Just yesterday afternoon, he and my mom decided to go to the beach, and today they dropped everything and drove 8 hours to get there! I understand why he's not going to WDW, though, and I'm so happy your friends are going to check in on him and keep him busy. I'm also really happy that all of you are celebrating being a family together during this time when family needs to lean on each other even more than usual!

I'm so excited and am in complete anticipation of an amazing TR when you ladies get home!!

I'm glad to hear the trip is still on. I love the idea of going out to dinner with everyone the night before a trip. We usually spend the night before a trip running around like crazies trying to finish everything that should have been done a week ago.

I am watching Princess and the Frog and catching up on TRs! The suitcases are empty on the floor at the end of the bed, and I feel no panic... Yeah, it will hit me tomorrow, I am sure!

The girls have their last soccer game of the tournament in the morning...they won't be in the playoffs (this time), so I will be back home by 1pm with the rest of the day to pack and clean. (I also have to run to Ann Taylor Loft to pick up a couple of shirts. I bought one that I wore today and I LOVED it!)

I can't pack because I still have clothes in the wash (the shirt I wore today...) and what on earth would I do all day tomorrow?

It sounds like your dad will be just fine; it also sounds like he might have a pretty busy schedule! Good luck with getting your errands done. When I get back you will be down to only 1 week!!
