Losing her must be so hard for all of you.

Somewhere in the empty space that is left, there are memories and love waiting to make it okay again.

Take care, Lana :grouphug:

Thank you so much for all the kind thoughts and prayers. Some people are so eloquent with words I may steal a few to use on sympathy cards next time I need to. :rotfl2:I never seem to know what to say. Geodoc and I appreciate all your comments. Thanks again so much.

Queen, Peg and Jas...so, so sorry to hear about your mom's (and grandmom's) passing. Take care of yourselves. We are thinking of you!

I too wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you for your support and love over the past few weeks!:grouphug:

We are enjoying having our family here (we have family here from coast to coast) and are finding comfort in that. We have laughed and cries but the laughter far outweighs the cries....and that is exactly how our mom would have wanted it! Memories are a beautiful thing and no one can take those away from us:thumbsup2

With the support of our family we are still going to be heading down to WDW on August 21 so we will be continuing with our PTR! We all sat and talked about it and everyone together decided it was the right thing to do....and mom made it very clear that we better still be going:rotfl2: She was a wonderful lady in everyway! We are now trying to talk our dad into coming with us but it's so hot he's not sure yet. I know 3 granddaughters who would love nothing more than to have their grandpa with them but we will see.

Once again, look for a post after Wednesday! Thank you again and love to all.:grouphug:

You absolutely better go to Disney! I think it will be a wonderful place for your to get some rest from all you've been through over the past several months. You and your family need that!

Stay strong girlfriend!!!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more Mary Ellen! One of Peg's friends was bordering on disgust that we would even entertain the thought of going...I don't understand people.:confused3 Not one of my friends has said a word about us going, they all think it's fantastic and that it's exactly what we should be doing!

Thanks again for everything....that video you made and posted on my FB .... I have watched it over and over and over....I just love it:hug:

Queen, as you know, my dad died the week before our 25th wedding anniversary. One of the last things he said to me was that he expected Mark and I to go with our good friends Shelley and Tom and celebrate that monumental anniversary. He said he would rest easy knowing that we did that for him. We, too, received many shrugged shoulders and looks as if we were crazy for even contemplating it. But I knew deep in my heart this was what my dad wanted me to do and it was the last thing I could do for him. So you go and enjoy your vacation. I hope "grandpa" goes with you.

I shared your story when we were discussing this. My BIL was the first to say I think this is exactly what we need after everything we've been through, and I couldn't agree more! I personally don't really care what people think, never have.:lmao: Peg cares more than I do:hug: My mother always said "life is for the living, you never know what tomorrow will bring". We will think of her everyday we're there and remember the trip they went on with Peg, Geodoc and SW in 2004!

At such a difficult time you should absolutely do what feels "right". It would be wonderful if your dad decided to join you but I understand his apprehension with the heat!

We are thrilled you're still going, so we finally get to officially meet. :) Looking forward to our breakfast and hoping we can maybe spend some time at the park afterward too :goodvibes
