This was a short but sweet trip for us (myself and DS whos 5.5) so I didnt bother taking the dining plan. We had the good fortune of having free dining back in August and had thoroughly enjoyed that. I figured this time it would be too much for us. Of course I didnt take into account the bottomless pit thats my childs stomach. And we do enjoy our TS meals, so for our upcoming trip in August I did decided to do the DDP again.

We arrived on Wednesday at ASMu mid-afternoon. My DS was insistent that our first night that wed go to SciFi. He was very taken with it when we went the last time and Id had one of the best burgers Id ever had there, so I was happy with his choice. We checked in, my DS watched The Top 7 Must Sees in WDW (the first of the 1001 times he watched it over the course of the next few days, having watched at least that many times the previous times we were here, I seriously believe hes obsessed with Stacy) and we headed over to MGM, oops Hollywood Studios and SciFi.
We were seated almost immediately and had a really good server. My DS ordered the kids hot dog meal with the tomato soup as his appetizer, and a kids sundae for dessert. I ordered onion rings for an appetizer, a burger and a chocolate milkshake. The onion rings were excellent and I shared with DS since he didnt eat the soup. The milkshake was very thick and creamy, mmmm. My burger was cooked well and DS enjoyed his hot dog. However, it just wasnt a great experience for us. We were in a car off on the side where there was a lot of foot traffic which I think took away from the atmosphere. There was a family seated ahead of us with a little girl about 3 years old who kept turning around staring at DS and this kept freaking him out and he told me to tell her to stop looking at him. The burger was just as good as last time, but I just didnt enjoy it as much. DS did really enjoy making the kids sundae, I think mostly because the family in front of us had left. All in all, a good meal, but not as good as I remembered from last time.
