We had an ADR at LTT for dinner. We were actually both pretty tired before we got there. Normally we go back to the resort in the afternoon to swim and rest, but it was raining that day and only in the low 60s so we stayed at the park until our dinner reservation. Since wed opened the park it was a long time for us. It had also started to get pretty crowded since Magic Kingdom was closing early for the Pirate and Princess party (we had an early flight the next morning so no party for us). But we both love LTT. We were seated quickly and before our server even had a chance to come to our table, Pluto came around and then Dale very shortly afterwards. The last time we were at LTT, wed had a very slow server, but this time our server was very good, very attentive. She took our drinks order and came back in a couple of minutes with the drinks, the salad and the rolls and honey butter. I had some of the salad and DS ate a roll. Minnie came around and then Chip. Our server brought out the rest of the meal very quickly. The turkey and ham and flank steak were nice and tender. I ate a slice of each. DS had turkey and ham. He also ate some of the stuffing. I turned most of my focus on the mashed potatoes. I love, love those potatoes!!!! And the gravy too, yum... Neither of us had the mac & cheese or the green beans. After that was apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. I was stuffed and didnt have any, but DS ate the vanilla ice cream. While he was having his ice cream, Goofy came by and he pretended to take the ice cream from DS and then tried to feed him. It was really good meal to end our trip with.
We had a 7:30 flight out of MCO the next morning and the food court wouldnt be open early enough for us (we had a 4:25 pick up time for magical express, yawn). We picked up some cereal and banana bread to eat at the airport the next morning, and that was it, sob, sob.
Like I said above, it was a short but sweet trip. Looking back at what we ate, I do think I probably would have been better off getting taking the DDP and Im glad I took it for upcoming trip in August, which of course Im already thinking about ADRs for. Just a couple of more weeks before its 180 days out.
