We’ve seen the Castle, but is there anyone out here that STAYED in the Castle for a night?

It’s a life altering hotel stay that’s invitation ONLY and even I haven’t been lucky to do so. Is there anybody here that had the magical blessing of staying in the Cinderella Castle suite?

It was only for late 2006 to 2008 as part of Year of a Million Dreams (longer than a year). So a limited pool of Disney folks here vs the rest of the world population.

Someone on these boards posted a trip report on the TR boards about the night they stayed in the castle suite. I believe it was through the old sweepstakes mentioned above. I have no idea how to search and find that, since it’s pretty old. Hopefully they see this and post the link.

I got a tour of it a long time ago. I don't remember when it was, but they offered free tours then.

Update: I found my pictures. It was December 2008. We were allowed to take unlimited pictures too.

The only time I have been up there was about 20 years ago when I worked at CRT and it used to be the character break room and my elevator went in the wrong direction from the kitchen

Now that's a tour that they should offer now, although I shudder to imagine what they might charge (and no doubt get)!

A CM I know said that when Tom Cruise brought his daughter Suri to The Seas to meet the dolphins, it was mentioned that he was staying in the Castle Suite. Whether he paid for it or was gifted was not mentioned.

I joke that used up all my luck in life (but the luck continues to find me in many ways)! Out of principle I stopped entering sweepstakes for free trips. Yes but currently at Disneyland - I can share some later for sure! Is there something you want to see in particular? Attached one of me being grumpy in the tub that I have to go!



It was super fun! They also gave us a VIP guide and breakfast the next day at Cinderellas (presumably to get us out ASAP lol). We went back right after fireworks and some princesses were in the elevator in the castle with us - we made sure to let Cinderella how much we were enjoying our stay. The fireplace was crackling and made sure to take a bath in the jacuzzi even though I was totally exhausted. We stayed up as late as we could, they had Cinderella playing on the TV when we got back too which was cute to walk into.

No guests but there is a phone with a concierge the entire time since you are locked in for the night. They also were testing some fireworks in the middle of the night! It was brief but glad we weren’t actually trying to sleep much!

How did that work? Like did you have to be back in the room by a certain time and not allowed to leave until the next morning?

I'm genuinely curious about the logistics of that.
