Could someone who have tried out the "Rookie Experience" at Richard Petty's driving experience at WDW please give me some comments on how this was ?

OK. this "ride" boils down to whether you have guts to drive fast and how close you can follow someone. Even if you are not a NASCAR fan this is the experience to end all. The price is a little steep though (the price for the Rookie Experience is in the $380-$400 range. I don't know exact cost since my experience was a birthday gift) I do however recommend that you do this if you get the chance as it will leave memories that last a lifetime.

I just booked this for my Husband. I just wanted to let you know they don't give refunds. If it rains you have a year to use your experience at any location. When I told my husband this (after paying for it) he almost had a heart attack! But we will be going again in January so I'm not worried! Hey it's a great excuse for another trip if it rains!

I just bought the rookie expierence for my husband 2 weeks ago. The price after tax was $403.64.

If you use the orlando magic card you can get 10% discount. Give them a call back and see if they can give you the discount.
