WDW Resort to Universal Question

In May, my bf and I are going to WDW for 10 days (split stay between Pop/Poly). Anyways, I get two free two day tickets to Universal from my job, so I was thinking we could go to Universal one day and do a little bit of each park. We thought about staying at a Universal hotel one night, but I really don't want the hassle of packing/re packing, etc. We won't have a rental car- a towncar is driving us from MCO to WDW and back.

So, what's the fastest/cheapest way to go from WDW to Universal for one day? Mears? Towncar company? Lynx bus? I'm thinking our towncar company might be the fastest way- its $70 r/t to Universal. Any opinions on what the best method is? Thanks! -Stephanie

Mears would be $24 roundtrip total for 2 people.

A towncar might be more efficient, but a savings of $43 is nothing to sneeze at!!!

I think a cab may be even cheaper than a towncar.

Thanks! Is there a website w/Mears information? I went to Mearstransportation.com but it just shows rates from MCO. Thanks again!

I strongly suggest staying onsite at USO. Perhaps cancel your nights at pop and stay at Royal Pacific for 2 night. It is so worth the money.

I think I read a post where it was 30 one way for a cab from WDW to USO.
