I thought that at Disney World you could use the Fast Passes anytime AFTER the 1st time period.

For example if the time was 10:55 to 11:55 that you could still use it even at 5:00pm that night. Is that true for all the parks.

(the only reasno I am questioning it is I am researching Disney Land for a one day visit and I think I read that you can do the above UNLIKE at WDW).

Can anyone confirm for me....

Thanks.

Fast Passes that were 2 hours later than time on Fast Pass.Like I had FP to TOT at MGM 1:30 to 2:30 time frame but did not get to TOT until 5:00 I used it,no problem.I have done this at different attractions at all parks on my visits to WDW.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi
I just got back last week, and at one time I had four fast passes to use. I didn't get a chance to use them until early evening. They take them late. They just won't take them before the stated time.

^Same here. We used "old" FP's throughout the week and never had any problems. In fact, several times CM's announced they were taking FP's for that particular time "and earlier." 1 day we used Space FP's with a window of 10:05-11:05 around 8:30 that evening.

The only times fast passes are officially valid after their expiration times is when a ride was out of service, or had an unusually long fast pass line likely owing to having been out of service. But often (actually usually) (actually almost all the time) CM's are inattentive or "inattentive" and honor expired fast passes.

The first time I went 3 hours "late" to BMTR, I was afraid the CMs wouldn't let me in, but she said that there was no problem. I went later and rode Peter Pan and Splash Mountain without problems. ;)

The day after, I went 1 hour late at RNRC and the CM didn't let us in.:headache:

So, I think that it will depend upon the person on the entry of the ride ... :scared:

Last year, we watched people get told no at Soarin' for being late. That dude was waaay pissed. He was an AP holder, and made no bones about telling the CM that...he was loud, rude and abnoxious about it. I think that is why the CM kept telling him no! Other rides, we never saw anyone being turned away unless they were too early.

We use "late" fastpasses quite often on our trips. Well, for all rides except Soarin', as I'd heard stories similar to what ajsmom is sharing here. We did use a late fastpass to Soarin' on our trip this past July, it was about an hour late, but since the CM was dealing with holding back 30 Brazilian students trying to get in early, he wasn't too worried about our four late ones. :)

This is not an "official" rule but it seems that almost everyone that wants to use a Fast Pass after the posted time is allowed to. There is, however, no guarantee that you will be able to do so and there is no reason to get angry if you cannot. The only time it seems that people get turned away is at attractions like Soarin where the Fast Pass lines can get long later in the day. CM's tend to always enforce the Start Times on the Fast Passes rather strictly.

My understanding is that the CM's at Soarin were told to start watching for and turning away old fastpasses an hour or more past their time. Otherwise, there is great flexibility and I have never been told no.

Just a few weeks ago dw and I used late FP's for soarin. One was just an hour or so late, the other was more than four hours late. Still we wouldn't have been upset if refused entry. Just happy it worked.

It is sort of an "unofficial" policy that late fastpasses will be accepted. However, you CAN be refused at any time.

Most often, the CMs at Soarin' will not let late FPs in, probably due to the very long standby times it often has, but even that is inconsistent.
