Well, sounds more like frustration to me...not being mean
It's just the tiredness and irritation I've been feeling. Just couldn't keep my mouth shut. Then, a little while later, I got a friend request from her on FaceBook. Good grief.

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Okay....I'm really, really happy for you :thumbsup2

But really really sad for me...I had to cancel my plans to join everyone :sad2:
I know, I'm sad you won't be there. Do you still have Serenity? Are you about ready to collapse with exhaustion? ;)

yes I think the radiation is going to be awful - it's like 3rd degree burns on her inside and outside. they have to treat the skin as well since that is where her cancer came back :sad2:

So sorry !!
hard for all of you. She is blessed to have you nearby!!

:scared1: Hope it wasn't a major plumbing issue :sad2:

yeah me too...

I bailed out the tub... then ran steaming hot water and that didn't help either...

so I got out as much water as I could and then left it to be taken care of when I get home.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........

It took 4 hours to get to Jersey today...

Silly me didn't think that the weekend traffic would be THAT bad...

and then people were slowing down for stupid reasons... like watching a girl cop a squat by the side of the road... :sad2: :sad2:

So we barely got to the wake in time.

I'm there, hugging all the cousins and this woman comes up to me and hugs me like I'm getting a reverse heimlich and starts in about "OHHH I was JUST asking about YOU!!!"

& in my head I'm going... "Lady... who the hell are you????"

Then it hit me... "Hi Faith..."...

Ok... so I haven't seen a few of the cousins in a while...

Jackie, do you know until what date this new window will be for? Probably not as far as April :sad2: I am really getting anxious to book my flights for the B2B!

I don't know, but if the last window is an indication, it should only be through March. Could be that the last window was a shorter one than normal, since it included the holidays and would be a busier time.

Monica, glad you are starting to feel better. We aren't allowed any open flames in our office either...surprised to hear that someone was allowed to do that!

Goodnight my friends...I'm hitting the hay early tonight!

.

Removed, because I sounded mean. LOL!

Oh dear.

I got an email from Mr. Energizer Bunny a few minutes ago telling me I don't have to go to work tonight. He had a former secretary who recently moved on to a new job come in and work all weekend (she needs the money and asked him if she could help out whenever needed). I would have liked the extra hours, but am too exhausted from this past week to even deal with that. Thank goodness! :thumbsup2

Well, if you were up for the work you would have every right to be annoyed at that i would think. At least it gave you the evening off to recover a little.

Hello dear friends - have been MIA since Thursday - just spent the last 30 minutes catching up.

I had a really crappy week at work last week.....not really sure what set me off, but even broke down in tears 1 afternoon. Got really  Friday - I've been in this office for almost 5 years (and my migraines are not a secret), so what does someone do???? He lights a candle!! So...I ended up getting a migraine, then left work at 1pm. Took meds & knocked myself out (starting at 5pm). Did a quick FB check Saturday, but continued to have a mild migraine until today.

FYI - the Give Kids the World village is not a MAW village - it's for any wish granting organization to use. I have volunteed there for years & have even met Mr Landwirth (the founder). His story is an amazing one. He survived a concentration camp as a teenager & made it his life's work to help fulfill wishes of sick children. This is his biography https://www.givekidstheworldstore.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=2103.

Hi Monica. Sorry you have been having a rough time. I know from experience that with a time of extended pain you can feel irritated and emotional, so let it out!!! I hope you are feeling much better very soon.

Kathe, it was just a rant about Tyler's stepmom. Long story short, she was acting stupid again. After I updated them about Tyler's bronchitis and antibiotics, she freaked out and asked me if she can get a "Z-Pack" antibiotic over the counter for the baby because after finding out Tyler had bronchitis, she's convinced Victoria has it. I was quite condescending when I pointed out to her the very happy, smiley, laughing baby playing in the backseat with her toes, clearly not looking or acting a bit sick. Anyway, she's going to take her to the doctor just in case, I told her the doctor was just going to tell her the same things I did, and she was surprised at that. I was just mean about the way I handled it and have to constantly remind myself that she's a new mom and I hear they get worried easily.

Ah, I understand. She should also know that giving children antibiotics when they don't need them is no a good thing to do.

It's just the tiredness and irritation I've been feeling. Just couldn't keep my mouth shut. Then, a little while later, I got a friend request from her on FaceBook. Good grief.

:lmao::lmao: You will really have to be careful what you say on there now!!!! Not that I can remember you saying anything bad about her of course.

Sorry for your lost Michelle

Sadness and loss her in San Jose too :sad1:

My grandpuppy, Kelsey (Casey's daughter) at age 15 has passed also.

This is Kelsey with her little boy Brian - he was our ring bearer in our wedding. His mom, Laura, a brides maid. Laura and I figured Brian needed a dog and having the perfect pet Casey we roamed the state to find her a stud. We did and Kelsey was the pick of the litter of six.

Such fond doggie memories :lovestruc

Sorry to hear this, Nan... It's one of the sadnesses of being a dog owner/lover that they don't live longer... Heartbreaking, really...

For all the Pooh lovers out there.....

Here's baby Jeffrey. He came home today. So all your prayers and pixie dust worked. Thanks so much. Hugs.

Gorgeous photo, Deb... So glad baby Jeffrey is home.. :goodvibes

Good Morning Friends....

I just got word last night that there was yet another person that I know who fell. My Uncle Teddy. (Michelle, he's my Uncle Frank.) He broke two ribs and sprained an ankle. He lives alone for the first time in his life, so I worry about him. I'm going to call him every couple of days to make sure he's ok.

It seems that falling is very common and a very dangerous thing. We have to be so careful.

It seems like falling is the number one culprit. Ray and John fell down stairs....Vicki and Cheri stumbled and fell....We all have to be a lot more careful.

So true, Deb. A few weeks ago I fell over a low stool in a very dimly lit restaurant - totally took me by surprise so I didn't even put my hands in front of me to protect myself. I smacked my right cheek (face!!! ) SO hard that even now it still twinges... :sad2:

Everybody laughs at others who are bird pooped on, but I could cry when it happens to me and hate being laughed at.:sad2:
I remember a seagull pooping on my shoulder in St Ives (Cornwall) one time - not only was it mortifying BUT it flippin' hurt!!!

hi

Had to fire someone today at work

She repsonded to it telling me that it was my fault for complaining about her :headache: well...if you weren't so darn gabby on the personal phone calls and your work wasn't filled with errors :rolleyes1

but it sucks to have people mad at you :sad2:
Not nice and it definitely sucks to have someone mad at you. I know. :sad1:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!!!!!
:cake:party::cake:party::cake:party::cake:
:jumping1: :bday: :jumping1: :bday: :jumping1: :bday: :jumping1:

Hope you have a special day!
Sorry I'm a bit late but what she said, Ian... :goodvibes

I'm feeling my age today. Yesterday, the youngest or the baby of my four boys....Tristan, Tom, Kris, Casey.....turned 18. That's it. They are no longer kids. They're all considered legal adults now and they're on their own in the world. When did they grow up so fast?

Casey got a half sleve tattoo to celebrate his 18th birthday yesterday. I could have thought of better things to do than that, but that's what he wanted. I saw pictures of it on Facebook. He has two birds for his two grandmothers that he lost (one is my mom) and it says "Pushing On" from a song that he loves. He also has a Greek mythological figure of an upside down man with wings burning because he's too close to the sun.....I forgot his name. It's unique and the artwork is great, but it's got to hurt a lot. At least he'll always remember his 18th birthday. I already forgot what I did on mine.

That sounds bad, Nan. I'm very, very sad for what you're Mom is going thro' - makes me wonder if mine experienced this... :sad2:

I recently bought a gismo for scanning negatives and pictures onto SD cards - very addictive :surfweb:

From 1983, Mr Smee skiing along side the ferries on Seven Seas Lagoon on the way to Magic Kingdom

It was another 16 years before we took our first DCL cruise and 17 years before we bought into DVC
I LOVE that pic!!! :worship: :worship: :worship:

Seagulls are HUGE!!!

Pellicans are BIGGER.....when my brother worked on a ship in Jacksonville, FL he said seagulls have nothing on pellicans. Pellican "waste" is SO MUCH bigger than seagull's. He said his car was always parked near the water by the ship and got bombed on a daily basis. YUCK!
