Good Morning Friends....

I just got word last night that there was yet another person that I know who fell. My Uncle Teddy. (Michelle, he's my Uncle Frank.) He broke two ribs and sprained an ankle. He lives alone for the first time in his life, so I worry about him. I'm going to call him every couple of days to make sure he's ok.

It seems that falling is very common and a very dangerous thing. We have to be so careful.

Oh no, I hope he recovers quickly.

We are home....

Be it ever so humble...

except something in the fridge has spoiled and it will have to wait until tomorrow because I don't have an ounce of energy to clean it out.

It was a very moving day today.. some tears... lots of hugs... & some really good food after... (we went to lunch at a restaurant owned by friends of my aunt and uncle. )

They played Taps and did the military funeral. Quite impressive.

It was nice though... on the way into the church, Will took my hand and wouldn't let go until we went to sit. Seeing as he's at that "I'm a teenager, don't talk to me stage..." It was a lovely gesture. I got to see Emma too for the first time since she got home from Denmark. She only made the mass... had to go to work after.

We are both exhausted. Stopped tonight at Scarboroughs to have my semi birthday dinner - wings and a cheesesteak and a beer for me.

BTW... the weather in NJ was SOOOO humid... I'm not used to that anymore. my hair went literally...

I'm gonna go catch up on FB and see if I can get to bed early...

Very sad paycheck today after only working 1 day last week with Tyler being sick. Bad timing. Would have been better if this had happened during the school year when I didn't have to pay out the nose for childcare. Not to mention paying for a week he wasn't even there more than a day. LIFE!!!! Oh well......just another speed bump in that road of life.
