Scottishwee35

Too bad it's usually not... :lmao:

I cannot believe another bird's poo on my washing line as my trouser and Olivia's dress oh why why

I think I go to get lottery for tonight

Scottishwee35

Just remember.. when you win... you rent out the entire ship and throw us a party... a 2 week party will do... I don't care the destination... just include Mickey Bars...

Here are some vacation photos from outing Cheri and took to Forest Lawn Cemetery in LA.

Just some of the kitsch to be found at Forest Lawn.

There was of course more to photograph which I didn't do because I felt it was not respectful.

Frankly, I found all the "cheerfulness" and "works of art" a bit too creepy for my tastes. I prefer my cemeteries to be somber and very traditional.

But, Cheri and I can check that one off our tourist attractions list.

Sleep is so good for him being so poorly. He must have felt better to go running!:thumbsup2
Yes, he does feel a lot better. He didn't run far though, because he ran out in his socks. :rotfl2: I'm still going to send him to bed early tonight so he can continue to rest and get better and so I can get some peace and quiet! ;) He's driving me absolutely bonkers. Not misbehaving, just super irritating. We're just getting on each others nerves I think, from too many days together non-stop, cooped up in the house.

yes I think the radiation is going to be awful - it's like 3rd degree burns on her inside and outside. they have to treat the skin as well since that is where her cancer came back :sad2:

How awful.

And yours is this month too isn't it Holly? There's another one! All you babies conceived on turkey day and born in August!

I was a New Years baby... who got born early... ;)

Thank you for the birthday wishes. This is sort of a big birthday for me. Yesterday I was thinking that when I moved to Chicago in my 20's I worked with people who talked about early retirement at 55. Back in those days you could retire when you reached 55. I don't think I'll be retiring on Monday.

I think every birthday you celebrate is a good birthday, because it beats the alternatives.

Not doing anything special today, not really, in recent years I've only made a big deal out of my birthday twice. When I hit 40 I had a birthday party at Chuckee Cheese, and when I hit 50, I celebrated by taking friends (anyone who would come down) out to dinner at WDW. In the end, 12 friends spent the weekend with us and I took us all to dinner at Jiko.

Besides, I already had a pretty fabtabulous birthday celebration at Disneyland for my 55th. Disneyland and I both celebrated this year, though it's a month older than I.

Ohhh I woulda paid good money to see you at Chuckee Cheese... :rotfl2:

My mama turns 83 on 8/24 :thumbsup2 Sadly - she starts radition that week too :sad2:

Great suggestion Cheri.

Also on the WBTA 2010 thread they keep on asking for the geezers to be identified. Don't they realise a Geezer characteristic is an inability to recall names :rotfl2::rotfl2:

And you are???

Ohhh thanks for the walk down memory lane... Next time, though... you guys have to keep an eye out and make sure my mom knows where to go... (she didn't know the ship yet by the 1st geezers meet...)

I read your FB posts. I can see that would be super irritating. Is that some of his normal obsessive behaviour being slightly worse with being poorl and cooped up?

Aaaw, poor thing. I didn't know her radiation would be like that so I understand. I had thought tiredness was the most usual side effect, but for her with the skin being involved I can see it might be more unpleasant for her. Lets just keep praying it won't effect her as badly as you and others are thinking.:grouphug:

There's Marilyn again....pretending to be old, just so she can get a free cookie! But her poor John....is he holding onto a walker???:confused3:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: I think it is hilarious. I noticed that straight away and always mention it!!! Too funny!:rotfl2: And, what about the scary eyes???

I recently bought a gismo for scanning negatives and pictures onto SD cards - very addictive :surfweb:

I'm sure some of you will see it on FB already...

My Uncle Frank passed away this morning... I'm sure it was peaceful... I'm happy to think that his mom met him on the other side... maybe even my dad...

Headed to Jersey in the next couple of days.

:hig: So sorry {{HUG}}
