Well John is happy again because his "diamonds" are back home. His truck was out for repair at a friend's station and he worked on it when he had time. Well winter is upon us and we need the truck to plow our driveway. We had to tow it out of the friend's station and take it to a dealer. They fixed it up good. John is so pleased with the way she runs now. Her name is the BEAST and she cost way way more than my diamonds did. Under $1k for my pink diamonds and $2726 for the Beast repairs. OUCH! Sweetie, you owe me more pink diamonds. Hahaha.

Never did hear from Karen. Guess that's long over with and forgotten now. She won't respond until he passes. Then she'll show up with her hand out. Great! I like to avoid confrontations in my old age. I just don't care enough to fight anymore. Karen and her husband Bob will be the battle of all battles. I dread knowing that's coming one day. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. I can hope.

Deb... you tried... make sure you print out a copy of the email - should be in your email sent box... and keep it for further or future whatever... remember you are loved and when push comes to shove... I'LL tell them that I wrote the letter so YOU could get some help for RAY!!!

Weighed in again today. I have 3 more pounds to go before I hit goal again. It's slow but steady.

I did 2 slow miles on the exercise bike this morning. I'll try for 2 fast tonight. I love the feeling of being active again and using my muscles. I used to be a trained dancer and muscles have memory. It feels good, not painful. I'm even working the arms a little bit and have no pain. It's all good muscle pain from exercise not from illness. I'm so happy to finally be on this road.

Way to go!!!

Well, this site has been slow and impossible on and off today, Happy Aquarium is like mollasses, and I just can;t get on Farmville much of the time.

What a slow world it is today.

Good morning. We are minding grandchildren today. Their dad is working and mum went to a singalonga Mama Mia last night and stayed over to go shopping this morning.

Two boys gone on cycle training so we are enjoying the peace of just having 2 girls!!

Deb - Godiva chocolates are my favourite too. Especially the truffles! I need to go to Edmonton someday again and get them fresh from the store. And great job with your exercise bike (btw I love the smiley you found Kaz!)


OMG Shannon.....Godiva truffles are the best!! I got them last year for my birthday. This year I'm going to try the cake. I used to go into the store on 5th Avenue when I worked in the city. I loved the smell everytime you opened the door and walked in. Now I just buy them online and it doesn't have the same affect....but it's better than not having them.


We had a nice Remembrance Day yesterday, with fairly mild weather (just above freezing) and lots of sunshine so it was actually warm to stand outside for the parade and ceremony. Shaelyn marched in the parade with her Brownies troop. It was a bit of exercise for me, and Kaleigh wanted to be carried so she could see stuff. Its surprising how sore my arms are today after carrying 45pounds of little girl for an hour yesterday.

I'll wait until Ken DLs the pics......I love seeing the girls growing up.

Good morning.

This is a big stressful weekend for me with a project going live for a pilot in production.

Unfortunately even as I write this a bunch of stuff is in the crapper and I have a developer who has been working on it since yesterday not even going to bed over night.

I have a whole team on standby and I'm sending out status updates on the hour.

On the plus side, I'm working from home all weekend.

Glad to hear you are improving! I had a lemon drop martini. Unfortunatelty not as good as the one at the Grand Californian and nowhere near as good as the one at Califonia Pizza Kitchen at Garden Walk (which was the best I'd ever had). But had a lot of fun hanging with the girls (and Rick).

Today is table linen day at Eastwood Manor.

We are going to survey (in between my conference calls) the state of our table linen.

Depending on the findings of the committee, and the state of my system cutover, we may be making a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond this weekend.

The table linen committee will be issue a report of the official Thanksgiving dossier.

Busy day for me today! Headed to Walmart to pick up a refill on one of my meds, and hopefully to pick up prints I plan to upload from the PC repo cruise so I can finish the scrapbook Linda organized onboard, then off to a DCL House Party where we've been told to bring any photos or memorabilia we'd like to share (thus the need to finish the scrapbook), Konk Coolers will be available, so I plan on trying one (since I've never had one onboard), and I also plan on winning the 4-day cruise on the Dream (I told my co-worker Jan she has to go with me), then I have to head to the laundromat, then come home and relax and catch up on FarmVille & FishVille. Wonderful weekend day!

Charlotte, Amy and I watched some of your fish die and float to the top of your 2nd tank this morning. We saw them flashing red to be fed immediately so kept going back and caught them dying. The girls were fascinated and wondered where you were!!!! I said it was only 6.30am your time and you would be sleeping till early afternoon!!!!!
