Hi Katypop!!! Hey, that reminds me(dont know why) ,did anybody try that new tequila bar in DTD when you guys did Tortatola? (thats how Gaylean spells it!LOL)

Hi Bubba! Sorry I missed you. Feeling better today? I might have reminded you about the Tequila bar, I kept asking if it was open yet for my trip last May, but it wasn't  My daughter and I did enjoy the Tequila tasting on our cruise in Sept though!

Good morning. We are minding grandchildren today. Their dad is working and mum went to a singalonga Mama Mia last night and stayed over to go shopping this morning.

Two boys gone on cycle training so we are enjoying the peace of just having 2 girls!!

Enjoy Marilyn! I can understand how it would be much more peaceful having just the girls!

Don't worry Ian....we'll eat on plastic-ware if we need to....just no PAPER! :lmao:

So, the latest buzz on the DCL/DIS is the 'suspension' of late summer 2011 Med cruises. What do they have up there sleves now? Not selling well and bringing the Magic home early? (though they are still selling the WTBA that summer) Switching to EASTERN Med itineraries? They finally realized their customers are PISSED that there haven't been any summertime 7 day cruises? :confused3

Holly, I'm heading off to a DCL Houseparty too....and I plan on winning that cruise, you hear? :rotfl: And I guess I'd better hit the shower and get ready for my 70 minute drive there. Maybe by the time there's a 3rd DCL houseparty, I can find a hostess in Phoenix (though gouodux is one, but I didn't get an invite from her :sad2:)

.

.

Oh, good luck to you too Jackie! Is there more than one cruise to be won? That would be so cool if both of you won :cool1::cool1:

Ah speak for yourself darling (oh never mind you did) :lmao::lmao:

bad marketing on DCLs part. They should have known that market from the last time. That would suck if they cancelled the WBTA (or the WTBA as you like to call it ;)

I'm on my way to Seattle today to join Kaylee's party :dance3: I would have gone to Florida, but V did invite me there

Yes, they are the twins. We didn't have long with them without the boys as both parents came home early(from different places!!). We played games with them - Downfall and Pick up Sticks.

They look identical but one is bigger than the other and slightly heavier, but I can never remember which one!! That annoys their mum! They have always been dressed differently, though sometimes have the same things so it is even more difficult then. They are a little different in what they like and you can see different personalities at times, but mostly they just do things together with the same/similar toys, and NEVER stop talking.

I'm cracking up at the talking comment. Welcome to my world my kids NEVER shut up

My mom used to have both and her table always looked so pretty. I have no idea where any of that stuff is now. My brother probably has it. I don't really like crystal much and I know he does. But mom's table always looked nice. I'm sure yours will too.

For what it's worth we are having Paul's parents here for Tday. So it will be a party for 6. I'm breaking out the China - it was Paul's grandmothers - gifted to us as our wedding present and my mom's silver got that too around our wedding time - We have some crystal (from our wedding registry) but I don't really like it - so I fill in with the barware that I do like - Paul and I collected it on anniversarys. Should be fun to set a small table -then I know I have everything I need. We have our service for 12 or so but it always seems that something isn't there or I need more for desserts so a small table will be nice :flower3:

Oh yeah - Maybe I can get off my A S S and get that party table gift to Ian this year....I'll talk with Molly and see...:rolleyes1:cool2:

Darn you people - I came here to spend a minute or two and lost my fish in the process

This time last Saturday we were watching some poor people get ousted from the birthday girls reserved private box at Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. They were NOT happy. But we were!!!! Thanks again Cheri for setting that up!:thumbsup2

It is isn't it!! I can't believe how physical I am able to be again in moderation....despite my illnesses. It's a wonderful feeling.

Plus the fact that I'm adding about 5 points in activity each day. 2 in the morning and 3 at night. These points only get used if I deplete the weekly points which I never finish up.....I might with my chocolate birthday cake though.:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:
I'm so pleased for you, Deb...

Morning everyone...

For what it's worth... I'm still awake from yesterday...

This is the longest I've ever gone after pain meds without being able to change things around... & I hate it... Totally out of whack...

I'm going to go and try and crash for a bit... I've told mom to forget dinner for me... I'll grab some soup or whatever when I awaken...

& just who screwed up the Smilies again????
OMG. That totally sucks so I hope you got the rest you need...

I typically decorate my table with places settings and food. :lmao:

No, we never do center pieces. Sometimes when we're feeling ambitious there'll be candles.
No I don't either - I find they tend to get in the way of conversation... Here's a couple of our table from last Christmas...

I moved the floral display (a gift from Sophie) when we sat down to dinner...

Now I have to get new clothes. I've been wearing the old ones loosely, but now they're falling off and I have to get a smaller size.

Ian, Gydell, help me out here.....what did you do as you lost weight? Did you buy all new clothes every size change? Or should I just go to a good tailor? I can't see spending the money for something temporary and I don't know what size I am anymore either. Suggestions? What did you do?:confused3:confused3:confused3:confused3
I just bought absolute essentials until I got to a size when I felt happy to invest in more staple items. And lots of drawstring waisted items as they work over a range of sizes... :thumbsup2

I'm heading off to a DCL Houseparty too....and I plan on winning that cruise, you hear? :rotfl: And I guess I'd better hit the shower and get ready for my 70 minute drive there...

Fingers crossed for you, Jackie!!! :thumbsup2

We'll sit on the floor with pillows and eat off of plastic....but we're coming!!! Nothing formal with us. hahahehe.
Same here!!! We'll purloin cutlery and condiments off the plane if that helps... ;)

Jackie and Holly, I hope you both win inaugural Dream cruises so you can be on the boat with us!!!:hug::hug: Have fun at the party....would love pics.:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
::yes::

Non, I only said that the Royal Doulton was a service for 12, the "cheap" china is a service for 16. For table wear, there is always the option to also use the stainless steel flatwear that is a service for 8.

So we can only accommodate up to 12 with the really good stuff.

Oddly enough, we never invested in crystal. There is no service for 12 Waterford to go along with the China.
We didn't either - Richard received a collection of crystal glassware for his tenth year in Citigroup's employ. Thanks $hittypoop as I like to think of 'em.

Darn you people - I came here to spend a minute or two and lost my fish in the process
I'm scared by all those games on FB. I'm not great with responsibility so just know everything I touched would perish! And that's not not good for my kids' confidence in me as their caregiver!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good crystal scares me for some reason.

DITTO!

Here we are in the Disney family box:

We put Peggy & Cornbread front and center, so they could get a good view of their boyfriend.

Was just chatting with Cheri on Facebook. Who wants to go to Disneyland sometime between Christmas and New Years? I MIGHT be able to talk Dianne into it, if she had some Tortola cruisemates (and other new friends) to see???? :confused3

.

Speaking of twins......

here are mine with their big sister....

Crowded crowded, crowded. But we might be able to.

Before is crowded too. Your birthday was the best I've seen it in a LONG time. But its still fun to go. Just not for the rides.

You have a great day planned Holly!!! I doubt I will pass you on FishVille!!

Charlotte, Amy and I watched some of your fish die and float to the top of your 2nd tank this morning. We saw them flashing red to be fed immediately so kept going back and caught them dying. The girls were fascinated and wondered where you were!!!! I said it was only 6.30am your time and you would be sleeping till early afternoon!!!!!

At my house you could have watched them die in real life... except for the gold fish we had for 7 years... we named him Jaws and he had to have a strainer put over his bowl because he used to like jumping out...

Once my brother was going to take care of my fish while I was away... I took them down there and put them back into the bowl... and they instantly died... (this was in the middle of a family bbq...) I was crushed... My oldest brother held a service...(sang Splish Spash...) my other brother wanted to eat... (not the fish...)

It is isn't it!! I can't believe how physical I am able to be again in moderation....despite my illnesses. It's a wonderful feeling.

I know how you can get rid of the rest of the cake... freeze it and bring it the 29th... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

not selling... too expensive... the other ship may be delayed... not having enough 7 day cruises? How about PC requiring them to have a certain amount of dates at the port?

Good Night Michelle....sweet Mickey dreams.:cloud9:

Thanks Deb... slept great... too bad it was during the day.. :sad2:

Deb, check out second hand and consignment shops if you have any around you. Also I picked up play clothes at Target and Wally world. Try Ross and/or TJ Maxx if you need to find slightly nicer things, then take them to a consignment shop when they are too big. I only had my high quality items altered because it was pricy, but if you can find someone at a reasonable price, I'd go that route first.

.

Deb... I say strip naked except for the diamonds... :hippie: :hippie:
