Water taxi from HS to Beach Club and Beaches and Cream?

I REALLY want to try Beaches and Cream this trip! How long is the water taxi ride from HS to Beach Club? And where do you board the water taxi? We have always used bus transportation to HS and I have never noticed the water taxis but then again I wasn't looking for them either!!

Once we get to Beach Club-where is Beaches and Cream? I am guessing a short walk but just want to be sure that we will not be traveling way out of our way as we will be walking around HS all day too!!

When you exit DHS, dont walk to the right towards the buses - bear left towards the water, and you will see the path going down to the docks. The boat is slow but a nice ride, maybe 10-15 min. to BC.

When you get off the boat at the BC/YC stop you are in front of YC - walk to the end of the dock, turn right towards BC & you will come to B&C in about 2 min. It will be on your left. SAB will be on your right.

As you exit HS, go to the left and there's a path down to the boat dock. I believe there are signs with arrows but it's pretty easy to see the path you need to take.

I think it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to BC, but you stop off at the Swan/Dolphin and Boardwalk resorts first.

You are correct, the walk to Beaches and Cream once you get to the BC isn't long. It's on the side of the resort that faces the pool and lake. There are maps of the resort that you can look at to locate it.

Here's the bing map - you can even see the little boats on the waterways. My recollection is that when the boat leaves DHS it first goes to Swan/dolphin then to YC/BC. Beaches and Cream is right by SAB, just walk along the buildings and you are there - no need to go inside even.

There is also a walking path to the BW/BC area from the Studios. We find this to be faster, especially if the boat isn't at the dock or docking. The path is to the right when you exit the Studios. Just follow around the water and you will see the path - there is a sign.

Anybody have a guess to the distance of the walkway from HS to Beach Club? I guess it will depend on how much we walk that morning and how tired we are but if it is less than a 10 minute walk I think it would end up saving some time over the water taxi especially if it stops at Swan/Dolphin first.

It's more than 10 minutes. I walked from HS to Epcot one evening and made it in a little over 20 minutes, but I was walking FAST. BC to Epcot is only about a 5 minute walk so that makes HS to BC at least 15. Plus it was an evening in December so I wasn't hot.

I timed it last time we were there ... from the security checkpoint of DHS to the lobby of YC was 19:05 min. To the BC lobby 20:40 min. We walked at an average pace for this timed test. DHS to Epcot's Int'l Gateway took us 24:30 min. We sometimes take the water taxi from DHS and get off at the Swan/Dophin and walk the rest of theway. You can usually beat the water taxi leaving the Swalfin to YC if you get off at the Swalfin and walk the rest of the way.

I didn't realise you could walk from DHS to Boardwalk, I think I'd rather do that than wait for the water taxi. Is it quite a nice walk?

It's a nice walk provided its not too hot or you're not too tired. It will take about 15 minutes.

I enjoy the walk but whether you walk or take the water taxi it's all worth it when this is waiting for you
