has anyone recently used Lyft to get back to the Carribean Beach resort after the MK fireworks and if so how long did it take and how much did it cost?

It's hard to say due to surge pricing, it's in demand after park close, the $15 ride during the day could cost $35 at park close. The only consistent pricing will be for Minnie Vans, via Lyft. I remember paying about $15 from the CR to RV a few months ago, before tip. It was dinner time, around 6:45pm. A fairly similar route.

You can't get back to CBR from MK via lyft unless you get a MinnieVan. The only transportation from MK are Disney Busses, Boats, Monorails and the MinnieVans operated by Lyft.

Since you will first have to get to the TTC and then take a lyft or uber it doesn't seem worth it to me.

You can open the lyft app and put in your destinations even if you are not near MK. Right now it is showing $51.02 for a MinnieVan from MK at 3:54 dropping off at Building 54-56, or from TTC $10.87 on a normal Lyft.

Good point! I wasn't even thinking about it being at the MK entrance! If they are still considering it, they should walk to the CR, though they won't be the only people doing it!
