I absolutely LOVE that movie. If youngest DS had been a girl, I had picked out the name Shelby. My favorite line in the movie is when Dolly Parton states: "There's no such thing as natural beauty. It takes alot of effort to look like this"!

This was the very first adult movie I ever saw. Until then it had been all kid movies. I cry, laugh, and smile throughout the whole movie. You all may think I'm weird but after crying for like the last half of the movie, when Sammy in his bunny suit jumps on the back of that motorcycle I burst out laughing. I LOVE the music too. Reading all these quotes bring back LOTS of memories. I have the VHS and now I need the DVD.

Hands down the best scene in the movie is when Sally Field is screaming "I wanna know why" with her friends. Chills!

That's my #1 I-need-a-good-cry movie!! Absolutely LOVE it! That scene with Sally Fields in the cemetery rips my heart out every single time..

Such powerful words..

Oh - and my #2 I-need-a-good-cry movie is "Stepmom"..

I forget the exact quote, but it is something like "I would rather have 15 minutes of wonderful, rather than a lifetime of nothing special"....or somethign like that.

Another fan here (my all time favorite movie). But you all missed the best line in the whole movie.
