Hiya everyone! The WONDERFUL UPS man brought me my new modem a couple of hours ago...so I'm BACK!!!:cool1: :cool1:

The scale moved! It's down 2 pounds! yippee!

of course tomorrow is my day off...going to a CincoDeMayo party.....:confused3 :confused3

I worked out a total 300 minutes this week! That's a new record for me!

How's everyone doing???

I'm off to read & attempt to catch up! This weekend will be crazy...but I'll be back here first thing Monday morning!
 
It was really quiet today. I was wondering where everyone was too. I'm watching a special on the Food network right now that is showing all of the WDW resorts & restaurants. The food looks really good & it gets me totally excited for all the dining I'm going to be doing in Sept.
 
I know the weekend is approaching and ya know- the weekends are my DOWNFALLS!

Me too! :( We always seem to be out running errands all weekend and then of course the kids get hungry and so we stop for food. And we tend to eat from the dollar menu at places... which tends to be the unhealthiest food.

I definately need weekend support!

My scale said down FOUR pounds!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

My first instinct was to grab some chocolate to celebrate. I held out all day but then started feeling guilty at nigth about not exercising all day and ended up grabbing a Reese's egg leftover from Easter. Oh well...tomorrow is another day! (going to do some stretches and drink 3 glasses of water before bed...hopefully I can "flush" the chocolate out of my system!)

As for the QOTD: I think I missed answering. When I was in college and would get complacent eating mac and cheese as a side to my LIQUID DIET;) I would get up to 140!!!!! I thought I was a fat pig. At that time, I would excercise for a couple of weeks and get back into the 120's and be happy with that, although I was happiest at 115. Who the heck knows what happened after that... so, at anything over 140 I feel fat. (although, I am feeling pretty good these days that my pants are loose and that I could find a belt in my size last night at marshalls... !!!!)

Favorite in the park restaruant: Table service: maybe tempanyaki? Although, my parents don't like Japanese, so I rarely get to go there. I don't find it any different than any other Japanese restaurant, it is just a treat when I get to go there!

Hey everyone!

No loss for me this week but I'm remaining positive which is super important b/c usually when I don't like what the scale says I have a total bingefest but not this time. I figure I just got to accept what is and move forward! Of course now I have a total craving for the Melting pot (thanks Pru) but luckily since my son would never sit through that and we don't have a babysitter nearby there is no way for me to give into temptation! My strategy for the week is sort of an all or nothing deal - moderation is just too tempting for me to stray. I'm also going to try and keep a food log so that I won't end up with eating amnesia! Good luck gang.

After my weight loss yesterday, I met my mom for lunch at Chik-Fil-As. She's been gone a week on vacation, and I hadn't seen her for weeks before then. So we met there, and I DID substitute the fruit cup for fries (they have THE best fruit cups!) but my daughter chose to eat most of that for HER lunch. The sandwich still had tons of salt, I felt like I needed to work out when I went home but I didn't.

I felt so bad before I went to bed I tried to do some squats and bridges but I was too exhausted AND I got rug burns on my elbows from the bridges! My scale was up 2 pounds this morning and I was all ready to just binge away until I read this Laurie.

I'm going to focus on your positive attitude all day whenever the leftover Easter candy is tempting me. (yes, I should toss it out at this point...but it's still good and I can't let it ALL go to waste..!) I already had a handful of jellybeans... that's it for the day.
 
Ah, my week is almost over! I finished my 40 minutes today- I don't think I'm even going to THINK about getting back on the elliptical until Monday morning!!! As much as I want to reach 1200 as fast as possible, I can't kill myself! LOL!

I'm just proud that I've done another full week of working out! I usually workout for about one week and then quit- so making it this far is VERY nice! Today, I think I may take my gift certificate that I received at Christmas and get a pedicure ;)
 
Good evening ladies !! These past few days have found me completelty off plan - not just a little either !! I need to get back on track and exercise, exercise, exercise !!

Weekends are my hardest. I am doing really well at drinking my water today though - which is usually a weakness for me !

I need to sit down tomorrow and plan out my meals for this next week. I think that will help me stay on track. I am determined to have a better week this week.

No loss for me. I was down 3 pounds and gained them back. I think I am going to do a cleanse which should jump start my weight loss. I just need to order it and i keep putting it off because of the expense. But I am tired of the scale not moving.
So anyway..... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! You guys are awesome!!! We only have like 4 monhts left! We are all going to look soooo good lounging by the pool with a Mojito in hand.....
I learned something the other day that I would like to share with you. One key to success in anything is to have a compelling vision. Let me give you an example. I work in direct sales, my upline asked me what I wanted when I started making my dollar goal. So I said, "Travel, buy a new car, etc." And she said that will NEVER get me there because it is too generic. So she asked WHERE I wanted to travel. I told her to Austria. She said WHERE in Austria and so I told her what I pictured. So she said instead of just saying that I would like to travel have a VERY SPECIFIC and detailed vision. In fact, find a picture of it and hang it up where you can see it everyday. Also write mantras for yourself on notecards and stick them all over the house. The more you see your vision the more firmly planted it becomes in your mind. Then that vision almost becomes your reality!
Anyway, might be something to try if you are feeling stuck or unmotivated. I have a picture of Austria on my computer. Everytime I sit down at my desk and don't want to make a call, I look at that and see my ultimate goal. It makes the call so much easier to do! :)

Well, this weekend hasn't been the best for me. In fact, I am completely off plan right now. Had dinner at Red Robin & The Cheesecake Factory this weeknd. Today I was so frustrated with myself, but I'm getting ready to head to the gym & try my best to start the week off better. Weekends are just really hard for me because I have no schedule & we are always on the run. Oh well, what can I do...no sense crying over it now. I'm sure I gained back the weight I lost... :(

Not much else has happened this weekend. It was pretty boring to be honest with you all...hopefully you all had a better weekend then I did. I'll check in tomorrow to see how everyone is doing :)

OK ladies, we have to kick this up a little. I am losing my drive to become skinny. This is when it happens... about the beginning of week three!!!! Then I convince myself that I'm just not THAT fat, and life is meant to be enjoyed... yada yada yada.... need some hand holding here!!!!!

Hope you all are doing well. I have to concentrate on getting in more water! AND start taking a vitamin!!!! So I can be :cutie: by the time I see you all!!!

If it wasn't nailed down, I ate it :sad2: Why do I give myself permission to totally blow it:guilty: I think knowing that I don't have to weigh in till Friday is part of the problem.. more days to recoup:rotfl: I think I want to weigh in on Mondays.. what do you all think :grouphug: I think knowing that I had weigh in, might curb the eating binges :rolleyes1
 
Haha- I doubt it, Keli! LOL! My Mom has weigh-in on Sundays- she's always doing bad right before she goes because it's the weekend!

Me- I'm just as bad as the rest of you! But even being BAD OVER THE WEEKEND does NOT negate the good eating you did the week before. You just have to dig in this week and not give up due to your overindulgences on the weekend- that's the danger of indulging! Losing your drive is the danger to weekends- not having a good meal at a restaurant or indulging in a donut!

Me- I'm getting ready to get on the elliptical. My tummy is all crampy so I'd prefer NOT to, but I've gotta do it. UGH!

I had to go back and reread this because this is SO me. Not to mention this is what I have been doing the past few days ! Ugh ! I am determined that this week I am going to track everything I eat - no matter what it is - excercise 4 days out of the 7 ( at least) and drink my water !!

I haven't gone through all the PM's yet with our weigh ins but it does look there was a few of us who did excellent. I will add them up tonight when I get a chance !

Let's all say what our goals are for this week. If you feel like a week is too long then say what your goals are just for today. Someday I have to take it a day at a time.

My goals for today are to journal EVERYTHING I put into my mouth. Drink more water than I have to and to exercise with my mom tonight.

ANd more importantly - I WILL DO IT TODAY !!! :thumbsup2
