Yes, Caribbean resort. I was staying there to do a review!I am blanking. What does CBR stand for? Carribean beach?
oooh interesting about Riv! Does that mean you need to scan your band to enter the pool?Yes, Caribbean resort. I was staying there to do a review!
I wonder if nothing at RIV because it is MB activated. From reports I am reading, sounds like it is more resorts that don’t have that feature.
I agree. I wish they would do wristbands for all guests like Aulani and SAB. It costs a little bit more, but it'll be easier to identify people that sneak in through the gates. I've been to some hotels do that and give you wristbands at check in for when you use the pools.I wish they would check MB/room keys more often! I was at the BRV pool one year and there was a party for a 6 year old going on. It seemed a little off, everyone had their own pool towels and brought in fairly large coolers, and a woman kept getting up to let people in the gate. After me being really nosy, and she was a loud talker, I realized she was a local and had followed a WL guest into the pool and set up shop at one of the umbrella tables for the party for her child. She was constantly on her phone, I heard her tell someone on the other end to "tell them you are getting lunch at Geyser Point then come to the pool and I will let you in". She let about 6 other people with young kids in, and I later overheard her telling her friends that they always go to the Disney resort pools, that no one ever checks, she either just waits and then follows people in or she wears her MB to make it look like she's a guest and is having trouble getting it to work at the pool gates. Then people open it for her. It was pretty disruptive to the people trying to enjoy the pool. The one time I saw someone check bands, they kicked a few people out, I think they were CM's. I wish they would do it all the time!
This is the way. Why increase staffing to distribute wristbands, when you can just give them out to all registered guests at check-in? I mean, you could even leave them in the room, if they're pre-checked in. Then all you would need to do is train CM's to check for wristbands when providing any service in the pool areas. Might not be fool-proof, but it would weed out a lot of abusers.I agree. I wish they would do wristbands for all guests like Aulani and SAB. No checks at either the main Luna pool or the dvc leisure pool leading up to Memorial Day.I am going to update my original post with resorts and status based on reports in this thread.
Really interested to hear any reports from BWV, Poly, and BRV/CCV. If you are headed to WDW soon, please report back!
Would love to hear your review, this is the only moderate resort that has captured my attention, mainly because of the awesome looking pool and island foodYes, Caribbean resort. I was staying there to do a review!

Dang. Updating my post 1 to reflect this.Just shared in the GF resort thread that there was absolutely NO enforcement Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week... I hope they get more serious with enforcing pool entry - especially given the fact these pools are all too small for the size of resorts they serve.
