Sounds like a good enough reason to me! I didn't get up for a while this morning because the cat was laying on my chest and I didn't want to disturb her. Because then she would've gone to play in the Christmas tree. Now she's asleep on the heater vent. I have no more excuse.
Winner DH is home today, so I have been MIA...have finished my Christmas shopping except for the little stuff--mailman, garbage man, etc. I have been to Target FIVE times in the last THREE days. Every time I walk out, I remember something else I was supposed to get.
Papa Murphys for dinner--it's like eating out, but at home...
The cat woke up so I cleaned.
Wow 5 trips to Target in 3 days.
You are so nice to buy for you mailman etc.
At our old house I got something for the mailman. But not this one. He always say mean things about how much mail I get
LOL, he's coming to your house everyday anyway, Shay. I don't know why that would be a big deal??
Next time he makes a comment, maybe you should mention how you thought you were doing him a favor, giving him job security in these troubling economic times.
My mailperson is a jerk and the paperman (not a boy, but a grown man) usually starts tossing the paper under the car in December. I don't do tips for either.
Oh, good! I use my dog as an excuse a lot. Like right now...she's asleep on my lap, and I wouldn't want to wake the little angel up...so I'll just sit here and DIS while she sleeps. The dirty dishes and laundry can wait, right?

Sounds like you need a snow-thrower. We broke down and got one the winter we kept getting 10" snowfalls, and have hardly used it since. I am sure that we get no snow because we are now prepared.
My new SUV has kept the snow away for the last 3 winters. I think my luck is at an end, it snowed yesterday and today here...that just doesn't happen in December where I live. Of course it didn't stick, but still!

Oh, we have one...DH had to buy the biggest one he could find, of course. That sucker DRAGS me down the driveway. Forget about turning it to head back up...it's just easier to shovel most of the time. Of course, today we are expecting about 6 inches of snow and it is supposedly the heavy, wet stuff so I may reconsider my "no snowblower" policy.
