Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Luna, I am one who (unfortunately) DOES understand your loss, the depth of the pain and the blindsided crying jags. Please know that I am here for you. Feel free to PM me or e-mail me. My address is posted yonder...

Hugs to you, babe...it is a tough week, I know!
I am so sorry.

This august 8th will be the 12th anniversary of us losing our son Spencer. You think you are doing fine and then all of a sudden it hits you again so hard you can barely breathe. You never get over it you just get through it. I will be keeping Shannon in my thoughts and your family as well and hope you make it through this week and Saturday and cherish your memories and find some peace.

My grandma is really sick right now and I just feel so disconeccted about the whole thing. I am very sad but it just isn't the same as losing a child. She lost my godmother at age 30 and I know she will be with her again after she has been with all of us for all these years. So I take comfort in that actually.
I am so sorry for you also:hug:

Morning all.
Nothing much to do here except do alittle cleaning :scared1: Was planning on heading over to Walmart in a bit to get a few things, but might have to wait to see what FE wants me to bring him for lunch & dinner (another 24hr shift).
Is it bad that I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner before I even had breakfast? It's just because we have another game tomorrow and plan on having whatever leftovers we have from tonight's dinner.
No I do that all the time. I think for dinner tonight I want. But come time to have it I no longer want it. Drives John nuts.:rotfl2:

Leftover Mexinoodles for me tonight, DD is having her peanut butter-n-honey sandwich (her fave). We SO need to go to the store. I am counting her dill pickle spear as her veggie tonight...is that wrong??:lmao:

I nuked a chicken pot pie for my husband and I'm trying to figure out what I'll eat, I think eggs. I'm really not feeling well.

So, I renewed the registration on our vehicles. Sticker shock!! We bought the minivan a couple of months ago...
$500.80
minivan
2000 truck
2000 motorcycle
2004 cargo trailer

I was just spoiled. I had a 12 year old car and it only would have been like $60 for the year. The van was 5 times that.

But it's done.

DH is grilling steaks tonight and he's supposed to stop for fresh Asparagus on the way home!!

In my state the older the car the more expensive the registration. My 13 yo car cost me $110 for 2 years. Used to be $80 for two years. It sucks.

Eeh, I used to sit for a family that told me ketchup counted as a vegetable. :rotfl:

 Feel better soon.Take it easy tonight.

I think that is very smart of you. But peanut butter and honey never heard of it.

I hope you feel better:hug:

Mommy Noodles here for me and the two older kids & a corn dog for the youngest (he doesn't like the noodles :sad2: )

I ended up picking up one of those Green Giant complete meal thingys you make in a pan for tomorrow night.

Just got back from B&R and got everyone their 31 cent ice cream scoops :cool1:

Ummmm....ice cream....maybe I can use that as a bribe for DD to sit on the potty. Then I can lick the spoon, right??;)

Wow! It's quiet around here tonight!

Nothing too exciting going on in my life right now. Hope everyone else is doing good. I slept most of the day due to being up from 1 30 last night Hope I sleep tonight.

Morning everyone! Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning Lara I hope you are feeling better after some sleep

Good morning all. Kids are off today for Acsension Thursday but I need to clean bc the PT is coming at 9:15 for DS5. I chose chatting and sleep last night so no sleeping in today.

I may rise, but I refuse to shine.:surfweb: at least not until after some coffee, maybe around 10 or so...

Morning all! It's not good yet because I haven't had enough cofffee.:surfweb: Got the kids sent off to school and now I have to decide: go to the commissary for groceries (pay day:scared: ) or just scrounge up food til next Tuesday when I'll have the chance to get there again. DD gets out of school tomorrow at 11 so they can bring the 6th graders up to the Jr. High. Apparently they don't want to have the big bad 8th graders there to scare them!

DS tried on several pairs of shorts this morning before he found one that fits. Now that means I get to take him shoppinng:cool2: Maybe I'll just go while he's at school to save some trouble....

That's all I got--have a super-de-duper day!!

Morning Losers. No coffee today since my fave travel mug was stolen. We have preschool this AM and am down to one good travel mug. Not taking any chances with it. A couple of Diet Mtn. Dew's should cover the caffeine addiction for me...

DD woke up before 7 with a bloody nose. Poor thing. I was in the shower and heard her crying. I figured she was mad that the trash trucks woke her up (garbage day and we are the first street...LOUD!), so I just called for her to come into the bathroom with me. When she got there, she looked like an extra from "Carrie." Covered in blood from the nose down. So, I jumped out of the shower (naked, wet and cold) and got the bleeding stopped, cleaned her up, stripped her bed, etc., and then got back into to finish my shower! I feel so bad for her when they happen. At least with other things, you can redirect her actions (cause and effect, etc.), but these occur without warning and there isn't anything she can do (except hydrate better) to stop them.

She has announced that she is going to tell her preschool about her 'bloody' day. I am sure her teacher will be thrilled...:scared1:

Later Losers! We are off...

Football Mommy, My husband has taken every single travel mug in the house and none have come back. We buy them ALL the time and they all disapear. I don't like coffee from the mini mart so when I have early morning sporting events I am out of luck.

My husband is hooking up my GPS today. I used to have a nav system in my Landcruiser, but traded that in for a smaller suv that doesn't come with that so had to buy one of the ones that plug in. I got it for Christmas and it is May 1st now. Nothing like putting things off forever right?

I have already been straightening up today. Still have to get all the kids off to school. Then some peace and quiet.

I hope everyone has a nice day. :)
