Can you unbook what they did, and rebook again? I know you aren't supposed to unbook and such, but it seems better than getting a reduced pay. I haven't had this issue - yet.

I thought about doing that last night when it was still an option but didn't want to give them another reason to goof with it.
Can't do it now.

Calling on Monday as IMO no one returns messages from voice mail.

I am very fortunate - I am close to 50 events at this point, and I've always been paid properly. But I know that the company will do anything they can to screw with the payments!

Good luck!

Splash Thanks for the airborne suggestion. I went out at lunch yesterday and started taking it. I cancelled tomorrows Target demo I just don't think I could do 5 hrs. Hopefully this cold is short lived. I don't do this sick thing well. Oh I almost forgot to tell you I actually talked to Vanessa yesterday and I didn't have to leave a message. :thumbsup2

Good luck to everyone with their demos this weekend. Stay germ-free. :wave2:

I haven't been around in a while, but just wanted to let you all know I am still doing demos. I am booked all though November:

11/05 - Ming Chicken Pad Thai
11/12 - Green and Black Organic Chocolate Bars
11/19 - Archer Farms Holiday Meal
11/25 - Archer Farms Holiday Krispie Sticks

Very odd, I just found an off-date Green and Blacks (I'd not ever seen an off-date at a Super Target before?) I now have Green and Blacks 2 days in a row - on a Sunday and Monday.

You got to TALK to Vanessa?? :cool1: Lucky you!! :rotfl2: I've given up on her.

About 2-3 days ago, I sent an email to the payroll person someone suggested here. They one that "always" responds. LOL, no response yet. :rotfl: I SWEAR it must be me. I hardly ever email or call...its not like they now me as a PITA. YET. ;)

I keep explaining that I'm only emailing because I can't get into ADP...and if someone could just help me (like ADP says they need to)....then I'll stop emailing them. But nope. No response. :rotfl:

Someone please post when you get a paycheck in the mail. You are all I have to go by to know if its late or not. Thanks.

Like I posted a while back, I think its going to slow down around Nov / Dec holidays.

The only events listed here in MA are the several Tassimo events that no one is booking up. Nothing else.

Only event I still have to do is the pear thing on 11/17, then that's it for a while it looks.

It seems that it'd be odd to slow down when there are going to be more people in the stores over the holidays? You'd think they'd have MORE demos, not less.

We'll see!

No check today, perhaps monday. On the adp site the ck's were cut wednesday.

I just hope with my transfer ro SPi that they will begin to book some demos around here. Last week they had some openings but they were all in southwest Oh which is at least 150 miles from me. I can't believe that there are no demos around here when I live within 50 miles of three large cities.

Bummer.. TMT must have been late mailing out checks on Friday.. no check today.
Gotta wait until Monday :bored: , if still no show then it's time to get chatty with Alan in payroll.

Paycheck has always come on Saturdays. Was hoping to have some extra cash to buy Disney Dollars this weekend.
Now I have an excuse to go to Mall of America on my own on Monday. :teeth:

The only demos listed for all of Kansas are two, both on 11/19, in Wichita. That's almost 150 miles from me, so no good for me!
I'm doing the burritos at WM tomorrow, then I have two deli jobs at ST in the
next two weeks, so I'm doing pretty good! But after that, nothing. Hope it picks up after the holidays!!!

I'm curious, since I'm in Ohio, only I'm with TMT, which cities were listed for SW OH? Saint Clairsville is the only city listed right now, for me, in OH. Also, what events are they for?

I was also reassigned to SPi and there's nothing close to me either. I hope things pick up. Some friends of mine who have been doing demos for years told me that November and December are slow because retailers do not want us in the already crowded stores. They also told me that what demos that are done will be on weekdays because the weekends are just too hectic. I hope there is at least a few!!! :thumbsup2

Nothing even listed for Wichita anymore! That's my area and I was able to get Neurtrogena for 11/18 but that's it!
Guess we won't see much till after the 1st of the year! :confused3

Thanks for confirming what I was already guessing was going to happen. Sounds like we get a little time off for the holidays then. No problem with me with that. REALLY did not want to be dealing with holiday crowds & tempers anyway. ;)

Well... my Breakfast Burritos was a no go.... I got there & they had a total of 2 boxes on the shelf... I grabbed one of the department managers & asked if they had anymore in stock.. they shrugged at me, so I asked if there was anyway to check? She said everything is just thrown back there & it's packed so no there was no way to check... so I didn't execute.. I know that the instructions said to buy some & if you sell out to promote until end of event but I'm sorry.. I was not about to set all that crap up, sample two boxes with no product to sell & stand there smiling for five hours!

I'm not heartbroken about it.. the $28 more than paid for the microwave I bought & unlike most of you I have 10 events booked for Nov & Dec, so I welcome the rest.....

I did the Gerber puffs and crackers today.

There weren't a lot of toddlers, but I did get plenty of teens and adults to try them - they are yum-o! :)

That said, I have 6 events scheduled for November - through the 25th (including todays). I haven't had a problem getting the work at ST. That may change after Thanksgiving, but I would be surprised (I think they want people there every week - but we'll see!)

I Had the breakfast burritos event aswell. Got there they were not in the case. Talk to frozen food manager and he gave me the same reply as they are packed underneath a palate of stuff and the frozen food crew could not get to them. Called weekend line they told me to make a .75 purchase :furious: No, I told them that I had to drive 30 minutes over here and that 28 dollars is not worth my gas and the amount of inconvience I have to go thru, I explain to them that every other demo company I work for give me a substitute product. I am put on hold.. Come back and ask me if their are Delimex taquitos. THere are a case full, then demo those. I just cant see booking a demo and not executing it that is totally obsured. I ONLY deal with this with Mass.

Anyway I too have 5 events in November and 2 in December. So, no slowing down over here.

Talked to the more "seasoned" demo ladies today about missing my check.. found out TMT has direct deposit.. HUH!?? Never received anything about direct deposit, sent a brightly colored post it in my store report forms to send form for sign up. Much prefer Direct Deposit, I do all my banking online.. hate cashing checks!

Just a heads up for those with TMT that never heard of that option.. DH never recvd info either (he never recvd a hat/apron/table kit but what else is new?).
